A mount structure for a fuel cell stack includes a first bracket member supporting and fixing the fuel cell stack to a first installation member, and a second bracket member supporting and fixing the fuel cell stack to a second installation member. A part of the second bracket includes a constricted portion having low strength in comparison with other portions of the second bracket member.

Mount structure for fuel cell stack

A stack case includes a lower surface and at least one through hole. The lower surface is at a bottom of the stack case in a vehicle height direction of the vehicle. The at least one through hole opens to an inside of the stack case. An outer opening opens to an outside of a vehicle. The at least one vent pipe has one end and another end opposite to the one end along a length of the at least one vent pipe. The one end is connected to the at least one through hole provided in the stack case. The another end is connected to the outer opening in the vehicle body. The drain hole is provided in the lower surface of the stack case to be open to an inside of a motor compartment. The drain hole is located below the outer opening in the vehicle height direction.

Fuel cell vehicle

A second end plate constituting a fuel cell stack is provided with a cooling medium supply manifold member and a cooling medium discharge manifold member. The second end plate is also provided with a mount member that affixes the fuel cell stack to an automobile body frame and covers the cooling medium discharge manifold member.

Fuel cell stack and mount structure therefor

A vehicle front structure includes a connecting member () formed of a belt-shaped metal plate, the connecting member () has a plate-shaped bottom section (), a first folded section () formed by folding a circumferential edge of the bottom section () and a circumferential wall section () that is formed in a continuous annular shape and that continues to the bottom section () via a folded section (), and the bottom section () of the connecting member is formed in a V shape upward or downward in a longitudinal direction.

Vehicle front structure

A mount structure includes a mount member, and a bracket member. An upper surface of the bracket member, which is connected to a lower portion of a fuel cell stack, includes an upper surface cut formed by cutting the bracket member in a depth direction, and the upper surface cut extends in a surface direction. A lower surface of the bracket member, which is opposite to the upper surface, includes a lower surface cut formed by cutting the bracket member in the depth direction, and the lower surface cut extends in the surface direction.

A mount structure includes side mounts for holding a fuel cell stack to thereby fix the fuel cell stack to first vehicle frames, and rear mounts for fixing the fuel cell stack to a second vehicle frame. The strength of the side mounts is lower than the strength of the rear mounts. In the structure, when an external load is applied to a fuel cell electric vehicle, the side mounts are broken prior to breakage of the rear mounts.
