Information related to a vehicle can be displayed by projecting an image based on the information on a road surface or the like. An image projection apparatus that projects an image includes: an acquisition unit that acquires information to be displayed; and an image projection unit that projects the image based on the information to be displayed acquired by the acquisition unit.

Image projection apparatus

A light source apparatus and the like capable of improving the manufacturing yield are provided. The light source apparatus includes a light source, a collimator which is arranged to face the light source and includes a reflection portion for adjusting a focal length of light incident from the light source to the collimator, and a light guide arranged on an emission side of the collimator. The reflection portion of the collimator includes a normal focus area in which the light emitted from the light source and incident to the collimator is converted into substantially parallel light, a long focus area in which the light incident to the collimator is converted into slightly divergent light in comparison with the substantially parallel light, and a short focus area in which the light incident to the collimator is converted into slightly convergent light in comparison with the substantially parallel light.

Light source apparatus and head up display apparatus

A head-up display comprises an image display device, a virtual image optical system, a housing with a housing opening, an antiglare plate covering the housing opening, a camera for capturing an image of a face area including an eye of a driver, a viewpoint detection device for detecting a viewpoint of the driver based on the image captured by the camera, and a main controller. The camera is installed on a position outside the housing and withdrawn from an optical path of the image light emitted through the housing opening, as well as in an orientation for capturing an image of an area where a face including the eye of the driver is reflected on the antiglare plate. The main controller controls to adjust an emission direction of the image light based on a viewpoint position of the driver detected by the viewpoint detection device.

Image projection apparatus configured to project an image on a road surface

The present invention provides an illumination apparatus having a video projection function capable of more favorably moving and adjusting a position on which a video is projected even after the apparatus is set. The illumination apparatus is an illumination apparatus which is held by a holding tool for fixing to a ceiling surface or a wall and which emits illumination light, and includes: a light source arranged inside a housing for generating the illumination light; a diffusion plate attached to a part of the housing, the diffusion plate diffusing the illumination light from the light source; a projector which is arranged inside a space formed by the housing and a part of the diffusion plate and which projects a video onto a projection surface; and movement means for making the whole or a part of the projector movable in a direction parallel to the projection surface.

Illumination apparatus

An illumination device configured to emit illumination light has a light source arranged inside a housing generating the illumination light; a diffusing panel attached to the housing; and a projector arranged inside a space formed by the housing and a part of the diffusing panel for projecting an image onto a projection surface. An optical unit is arranged so that an incident direction of a light flux incident from a display element provided in the projector onto a projection optical system of the projector is substantially vertical or in a direction closer to a vertical direction than a direction parallel to a horizontal plane, or so that an optical axis of the projection optical system on which the light flux from the display element provided in the projector is incident is substantially vertical or in a direction closer to the vertical direction than the direction parallel to the horizontal plane.

An illumination device emits illumination light and has a light source arranged inside a housing generating illumination light; a diffusing panel attached to the housing; and a projector inside a space formed by the housing and a part of the diffusing panel and projecting an image onto a projection surface. An optical unit is arranged so that an incident direction of a light flux incident from a display element provided in the projector onto a projection optical system of the projector is substantially parallel to a horizontal plane or in a direction closer to a direction parallel to the horizontal plane than a vertical direction, or in so that an optical axis of the projection optical system on which the light flux from the display element is substantially parallel to the horizontal plane or in a direction closer to a direction parallel to the horizontal plane than the vertical direction.

Illumination device

Provided is a light source device where the number of optical components is reduced without lowering an efficiency for light utilization. The light source device includes an excitation light source which generates blue laser light as excitation light, a phosphor wheel including a phosphor which is excited by the excitation light from the excitation light source to generate yellow fluorescent light, and a mirror which guides the excitation light from the excitation light source to the phosphor wheel and transmits the fluorescent light from the phosphor wheel, wherein the mirror includes a first region which reflects the excitation light and transmits the fluorescent light and a second region which transmits the fluorescent light and diffused excitation light which is diffused and reflected in the phosphor. The yellow fluorescent light and the diffused excitation light passing through the mirror are mixed to generate white light.

Light source device and projection type image display device

A vehicle lamp includes a phosphor which receives laser light (excitation light) emitted from a semiconductor light-emitting element to emit visible light, a reflector which reflects the visible light (illumination light) emitted from the phosphor forward, and an absorbing member which absorbs excitation light regularly reflected by a surface of the phosphor. A metal plate on which the phosphor is disposed to be inclined to cause the excitation light regularly reflected by the surface of the phosphor to be incident on the absorbing member. An upper end portion of the reflector is disposed at a position lower than a vertical position of the phosphor to prevent the regularly reflected excitation light from being incident on the upper end portion.

Vehicle lamp having a laser emitting element

A projection image display apparatus which performs an operation for attaching and detaching a projection lens by one action with a simple mechanism is provided. The projection image display apparatus includes an optical engine which irradiates a display element with light emitted from a light source to form an image, a projection lens which enlarges and projects the image emitted from the optical engine, a lens shift mechanism for adjusting a position of an image to be projected onto a screen, a lens attachment unit for attaching the projection lens to the lens shift mechanism, and a first plate for attaching the projection lens to the lens attachment unit to achieve a locked state, and the attachment of the projection lens to the lens attachment unit and the achievement of the locked state are performed by only rotation of the first plate in a first direction. Also, detachment of the projection lens and release of the locked state are performed by only rotation of the first plate in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
