A linear light source module includes a mirror light guide component and a light emitting component. The mirror light guide component has a light emitting end, a surface having a mirror light reflecting layer formed thereon and a light incidence end. The light emitting component is configured for providing light to the light incidence end. The mirror light guide component is a light guide bar and is configured for converting the light from the first light emitting component into a linear light when the light emitting component is lighted, and the mirror light guide component is a mirror bar and is configured for providing a mirror function when the light emitting component is closed. An optical touch device with the linear light source module can avoid a blind zone and can be used as a dual-touch device or a multi-touch device.

An interactive system capable of improving image processing includes a reference device, a processing module and a controller. The reference device is used for transmitting and/or reflecting light signals within a predetermined spectrum. The processing module includes an image sensor, an estimation unit and a transmission interface. The image sensor is used for sensing an image so as to generate pixel signals; the estimation unit is used for determining static parameters of at least one image object according to the pixel signals; and the transmission interface is used for serially outputting the static parameters of the at least one image object. The controller is used for controlling operation of the interactive system according to the static parameters of the at least one image object outputted from the transmission interface. The image sensor, the estimation unit, and the transmission interface can all be formed on the same substrate.

In a variable size sensing system and a method for redefining the size of a sensing area thereof, the sensing system includes four elements, a mark and two image sensing devices. The four elements are consecutively connected and thereby forming a frame. Two of the four elements have variable lengths so as to adjust the size of the frame. The inner edge of the frame defines a sensing area of a parallelogram shape. The sensing system has a first and a second working mode. The sensing area has a first size and a second size when the sensing system is in the first working mode and the second working mode respectively, wherein the first size is predetermined and smaller than the second size. The mark is used to mark a fixed length. When the sensing system is changed from the first working mode to the second working mode, the mark sensed by the image sensing devices can be utilized to redefine the size of the sensing area in the sensing system.

A serial transmission interface between an image sensor and a baseband circuit includes a transmission end and a reception end. The transmission end is set in the image sensor, and is utilized for transmitting image data sensed by the image sensor. The reception end is set in the baseband circuit, and is utilized for receiving the image data transmitted from the transmission end. Besides, at least one locality dot is used in each data block. While the scanning device is utilized for scanning the pattern displaying medium, a reading direction of each data block is indicated by the at least one locality dot so as to precisely read dots of each data block.

An optical touch display includes a display panel, a light source module, and a sensing module. The display panel has a first edge, a second edge, a third edge and a fourth edge. The light source module is disposed beside the first edge and the second edge of the display panel. The light source module is configure for providing a first parallel light and a second parallel light passing through above a display surface of the display panel. The first parallel light passes from the first edge of the display panel through the third edge of the display panel, and the second parallel light passes from the second edge of the display panel through the fourth edge of the display panel. The sensing module is disposed beside the third edge and the fourth edge of the display panel for sensing the first parallel light and the second parallel light. The optical touch display has advantageous of high reliability and low cost.

An optical sensing system includes a sensing area, a reflective mirror, a first image-sensing device, a second image-sensing device, and a processing circuit. The sensing area is an area in which a plurality of pointing objects may execute touch operation. The reflective mirror generates a mirror image of the sensing area. The first image-sensing device and the second image-sensing device respectively capture images including all or part of the pointing objects in the sensing area, and all or part of the pointing objects in the reflective mirror. The processing circuit generates candidate coordinates according to the images captured by the first and the second image-sensing devices, and obtains the locations of the pointing objects from the candidate coordinates by means of the symmetric relationship between the point objects and the corresponding mirror images with respect to the reflective mirror. In this way, the optical sensing system can perform multi-touch operation.

At a first time, an image sensor captures a first image including images of an object. At a second time, the image sensor captures a second image including images of the object. A coordinate calculation device calculates a first coordinate of the object at the first time according to the first image, and a second coordinate of the object at the second time according to the second image. A coordinate correction device calculates a displacement between the first time and the second time according to the first coordinate and the second coordinate, and corrects an output coordinate of the object at the second time according to the displacement.

An optical operating apparatus includes a soft plate, a transparent supporting plate, a deformable unit, a light source, and an image sensing module. The soft plate is configured for being pressed. The transparent supporting plate is disposed under the soft plate. The deformable unit is disposed between the transparent supporting plate and the soft plate, and has a pattern configuration. The deformable unit deforms as applying an external force on the soft plate and restores after the external force is removed. The light source is configured for providing a light beam to the transparent supporting plate and the deformable unit, and the light beam is reflected by the deformable unit. The image sensing module is arranged on a transmitting path of the light beam reflected by the deformable unit, and a visual field of the image sensing module covers the whole deformable unit.
