An online observation method of an anode nitrogen concentration for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell is disclosed. Firstly, a dynamic model of anode nitrogen concentration is established based on a gas transmembrane penetration model and an anode material conservation model of a fuel cell, and then an average voltage degradation value between a nitrogen partial pressure and an average monolithic cell voltage is obtained as online feedback information, an online observer of anode nitrogen concentration is established based on the dynamic model of anode nitrogen concentration and the online feedback information, and the anode nitrogen concentration of the fuel cell is obtained by the online observer. The new method solves the problem of online observation of anode nitrogen concentration during the operation of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell engine system under dynamic conditions.

Online observation method of anode nitrogen concentration for proton exchange membrane fuel cell

An active fault-tolerant temperature control method for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell system is disclosed. Firstly, a model of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell temperature control system is established, and a system structure matrix is established according to the model by structural analysis. The system structure matrix is decomposed by using a Dulmage-Mendelsohn method, a redundant part of the model is obtained, and a system residual is constructed to reflect faults of the temperature control system. On the basis of fault identification, sliding-mode-based active fault-tolerant control is designed to accurately control an outlet temperature of a stack. The new method solves the problem of sensor failure of a temperature control model of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell system during operation, and applies model-based fault-tolerant control to temperature control, so that the reliability and durability of the fuel cell system can be effectively improved.

Active fault-tolerant temperature control method for proton exchange membrane fuel cell system

An anode gas purge control method for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell is disclosed. An anode water management structure is constructed, and an anode nitrogen concentration observer is used to control the anode water management structure to operate. Liquid water contained in gas of a fuel cell stack is taken out by controlling a hydrogen flow rate through a hydrogen circulating pump and removed through a second water-vapor separator. Liquid water precipitated by gas condensation is removed through a first water-vapor separator. A nitrogen concentration observed value is obtained by using the anode nitrogen concentration observer, a purge duration is obtained by using a purge continuation process model, and when the nitrogen concentration observed value reaches a nitrogen concentration threshold, the purge valve is opened and nitrogen is discharged. After the purge duration, the purge valve is closed, and next cycle is entered.
