A display apparatus including the display panel, the display panel includes: a substrate in which a main display area, a component area and an intermediate area are defined; pixel electrodes including a first pixel electrode arranged in the main display area, a second pixel electrode arranged in the component area and a third pixel electrode arranged in the intermediate area; a first insulating layer including a light-blocking material and disposed on the substrate, the first insulating layer exposing central portions of pixel electrodes; and an optical functional layer arranged on the first insulating layer and including a black matrix, the black matrix exposing the pixel electrodes, wherein the first insulating layer at least partially overlaps the black matrix in an intermediate area between the main display area and the component area.

Display apparatus including a first display area and a second display area

A display device including a display panel including a flat area including a first display area and a first peripheral area adjacent to the first display area and a bending area including a second display area and a second peripheral area adjacent to the second display area, and an input sensing unit on the display panel. The input sensing unit includes first touch sensors having a mesh shape, extending in a first direction parallel to a bending axis of the bending area, and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, second touch sensors having a mesh shape, extending in the second direction, and arranged in the first direction, first connection electrodes respectively connected to ends of the first touch sensors, second connection electrodes respectively connected to ends of the second touch sensors, and touch signal lines connected to the first connection electrodes and the second connection electrodes.

Display device

Provided is an organic light emitting display module including an active area, a pad area, and a boundary area between the active area and the pad area. Unlike the active area and the pad area, since the boundary area does not include an inorganic layer, less stress is applied to the boundary area when the boundary area is bent. Display panel pads and touch sensing member pads are disposed at the same height without having a height difference therebetween. Thus, a dummy pad may be added to remove the height difference between the display panel pads and the touch sensing member pads.

Organic light emitting display module and organic light emitting display device having the same

A display device includes a display panel on which a first light emitting element and a second light emitting element adjacent to the first light emitting element are disposed. A sensor layer including a touch electrode is disposed on the display panel. The touch electrode includes a first portion having a first width, a second portion having a second width that is smaller than the first width, and a third portion connecting the first portion to the second portion. The first portion, the second portion, and the third portion are each disposed between the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element.

A display device includes a display panel, a first insulating layer on the display panel and having a first refractive index, and a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer and having a second refractive index. A display panel includes: first and second pixel circuits on a substrate; first and second pixel electrodes electrically connected to the first and second pixel circuits, respectively; a pixel defining layer having openings overlapping with the first and second pixel electrodes, respectively; a first emission layer on the first pixel electrode; a second emission layer on the second pixel electrode; an opposite electrode on the first emission layer and the second emission layer; and an anti-reflection layer on the opposite electrode. An electronic device includes a display panel having a first area, a second area, and a third area. The display panel includes a first pixel including a first light emitting element disposed in the first area and a first pixel circuit disposed ion the second area and configured to drive the first light emitting element. A second pixel is disposed in the second area. A third pixel disposed in the third area. A pixel defining pattern is disposed on the first pixel electrode and has a ring shape when viewed in a plane (e.g., in a plan view).

Display module, and electronic device including the same

A display apparatus including an organic light-emitting display panel and a touch sensing unit disposed on the organic light-emitting display panel is disclosed. The touch sensing unit includes a touch electrode and a wiring part connected to the touch electrode. The wiring part of the touch sensing unit passes a protruding member disposed on a non-display region of the organic light-emitting display panel, and forms a first wiring part which does not overlap the protruding member, a second wiring part overlapping the protruding part, and a connection wiring part disposed between the first and second wiring parts and having a wiring width less than the first and second wiring parts so as to overlap an edge of the protruding member.

In a display device according to the present disclosure, the display device includes a display panel and an input sensor layer. The display panel includes a display area that includes a first area through which an optical signal passes and a second area by which the optical signal is blocked. The first area includes a first sub-area having a first light transmittance and a second sub-area having a second light transmittance lower than the first light transmittance.
