The vehicle controlling apparatus includes: a communication unit configured to communicate with the display; and a processor configured to set at least one region among an entire region of the display as a display region, based on a sight line range changed according to a position of a passenger who got on the vehicle, and configured to control the communication unit so that visual information is displayed on the display region.

A mobile terminal is configured to be worn on a user's wrist region. The mobile terminal includes a muscle sensor that is configured to sense movement of muscle in the user's wrist region, and a proximity sensor that is configured to sense a proximity of the mobile terminal to the user's wrist region. The mobile terminal also includes a wireless communication unit configured to perform communication with a vehicle control device provided in a vehicle. The mobile terminal further includes a controller configured to transmit a control command to the vehicle control device based on at least one of a value measured by the muscle sensor or a value measured by the proximity sensor.

A method and apparatus are provided for controlling instant messages. This may include a mobile terminal receiving a message, and searching a telephone directory stored in memory of the mobile terminal for sender information of the received message and determining the received message as an instant message according to a result of the search, and displaying text contents of the instant message on an idle screen of the mobile terminal for a specific duration of time that is controllable by a user.
