A base station and user equipment with prioritized transmission considerations are provided. The base station generates an RRC configuration message for a user equipment. The RRC configuration message includes a first information element regarding a PHY layer, wherein the first information element is related to a DCI format for a specific indication, and the specific indication is related to a prioritized transmission mode. The RRC configuration message further includes a second information element regarding a MAC layer, wherein the second information element defines a transmission restriction of each of a plurality of logical channels, and at least one of the transmission restrictions corresponds to the prioritized transmission mode. The base station further transmits the RRC configuration message to the user equipment. The user equipment receives the RRC configuration message from the base station and reads the first information element and the second information element from the RRC configuration message.

Base station and user equipment with prioritized transmission considerations

A base station and a user equipment with enhanced PDCP duplication are provided. The base station generates at least one RRC message for a user equipment, wherein the at least one RRC message includes a set of multiple activation criteria, and each activation criterion corresponds to one of multiple RLC entities. The base station transmits the at least one RRC message to the user equipment. Multiple logical channels are provided in a MAC layer, each RLC entity corresponds to at least one of the logical channels, each RLC entity corresponds to a working status (activation or deactivation). At least one of the working statuses of the RLC entities is changed due to at least one of the activation criteria being satisfied, and the base station changes a transmission restriction of at least one specific logical channel among the logical channels based on the changed working statuses of the RLC entities.

Base station and user equipment with enhanced PDCP duplication

A base station and a master communication apparatus are provided. The master communication apparatus belongs to a mobile communication system. The mobile communication system includes a plurality of data transmission apparatuses. Each of the data transmission apparatuses has a transmission path with a user equipment individually. Each transmission path has a priority degree. The master communication apparatus selects one of the transmission paths as the primary path. For each of a plurality of QoS degrees, the master communication apparatus selects a set of the transmission paths as at least one duplication path of the QoS degree according to the priority degrees and/or a plurality of communication service statuses. The master communication apparatus configures a MAC logic channel parameter and configures at least one PDCP parameter. The master communication apparatus transmits the MAC logic channel parameter and the at least one PDCP parameter to the user equipment.

Base station and master communication apparatus

A user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) for a mobile communication system are provided. The UE performs a random access (RA) procedure with the BS in a radio resource control (RRC) idle mode. The UE transmits a preconfigured uplink resource request message to the BS and receives a configuration message indicating a preconfigured uplink resource from the BS. The UE starts a time alignment timer (TAT) which is used for the RRC idle mode in response to the RA procedure. When the UE determines that there exists an uplink message to be transmitted in the RRC idle mode and determines that the current timing advance (TA) value is valid, the UE transmits the uplink message on the preconfigured uplink resource.

User equipment and base station for mobile communication system

A user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) are provided. The UE transmits a specific preamble on a random access channel and transmits an uplink data signal and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) on an uplink transmission radio resource so that the BS receives the uplink data signal and the DMRS according to the specific preamble after receiving the specific preamble. The BS transmits a downlink data signal on a downlink transmission radio resource according to the specific preamble so the UE receives the downlink data signal on the downlink transmission radio resource according to the specific preamble.

A user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) for a mobile communication system are provided. The UE transmits a preamble to the BS on a physical random access channel of an active uplink bandwidth part of a plurality of uplink bandwidth parts and receives a random access response message from the BS on an active downlink bandwidth part of a plurality of downlink bandwidth parts according to a linkage. The linkage defines that the active downlink bandwidth part corresponds to the active uplink bandwidth part.

User equipment and base station for mobile communication system having a linkage between uplink BWPS and downlink BWPS

A base station, user equipment, and channel selection method are provided. The base station can configure a Primary Component Carrier (PCC) and a plurality of Secondary Component Carriers (SCCs). The PCC is a Long Term Evolution (LTE) band, while at least one of the SCCs is not an LTE band. The base station receives a plurality of channel status parameters, wherein each of the channel status parameters corresponds to one of the SCCs. The base station sorts the SCCs according to the channel status parameters, determines a subset of the SCCs as at least one candidate SCC according to the channel status parameters, and determines a subset of the at least one candidate SCC as at least one available SCC by performing clear channel assessment for each of the at least one candidate SCC.

Base station and channel selection method thereof

A base station (BS), a user equipment (UE), a transmission control method for the BS and a data transmission method for the UE are provided. Based on user group information, the base station transmits uplink transmission control information to a plurality of the UEs in a group to make each UE contend for a plurality of subframes in the allocated unlicensed band radio resource pool. If a UE successfully contends for a subframe, the UE transmits a reservation signal and transmits an uplink data signal in the contended subframe. If the UE detects another reservation signal when contending for the subframe, the UE determines whether the another reservation signal is associated with the ID of its group. If associated, the UE transmits the uplink data signal in the subframe.

Base station, user equipment, transmission control method for the base station and data transmission method for the user equipment

A transmitting direct mode communication apparatus, a receiving direct mode communication apparatus and a communication path switching method thereof are provided. The transmitting direct mode communication apparatus and the receiving direct mode communication apparatus maintain a backend network connection, and communicate with each other via a direct communication connection. The transmitting direct mode communication apparatus and the receiving direct mode communication apparatus are capable of switching the communication to backend network connection rapidly and seamlessly for transmitting data normally after the direct communication connection failed.

The base station includes a storage, a processor and a transceiver. The storage stores signal quality information and traffic loading information. The processor chooses a plurality of resource blocks from the resource pool to form a device to device (D2D) resource pool according to at least one of the signal quality information and the loading information, and generates resource configuration information according to the D2D resource pool. The resource configuration information indicates the D2D resource pool. The transceiver transmits the resource configuration information.

Base station and device to device user equipment for a wireless communication system

A base station in a spectrum sharing system includes a sensor configured to sense signals over a shared spectrum, a transceiver configured to receive at least one measurement report transmitted from at least one user terminal regarding signals over the shared spectrum sensed by the at least one user terminal and a processor configured to determine whether to utilize the shared spectrum according to the signals over the shared spectrum sensed by the sensor or acquired from the at least one measurement report. A user terminal in a spectrum sharing system includes a sensor configured to sense signals over a shared spectrum, a processor configured to generate a measurement report regarding the signals over the shared spectrum and a transceiver configured to transmit the measurement report to a base station so that the base station determines whether to utilize the shared spectrum according the signals over the shared spectrum.

Base station and user terminal in spectrum sharing system and method for determining usage of shared spectrum

A user equipment, a base station, and data transmission methods thereof are provided. The user equipment is connected to a first base station and receives a first FDR configuration of the first base station and a second FDR configuration of the second base station. The user equipment establishes an RRC connection with the second base station. The user equipment performs data transmission with the first base station and establishes a data connection with the second base station on the same frequency band simultaneously according to the first and second FDR configurations. The user equipment performs data transmission with the first base station and performs data transmission with the second base station on the same frequency band simultaneously according to the first and second FDR configurations.

User equipment, base station, and data transmission methods thereof

A device to device (D2D) user equipment and a base station are provided. The D2D user equipment includes a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver receives a wireless signal having a hybrid access channel carrying a D2D hybrid access map. The processor is electrically connected to the transceiver retrieves the D2D hybrid access map from the hybrid access channel. The D2D hybrid access map indicates a D2D resource block. A first D2D user equipment transmits a D2D hybrid access request to a second D2D user equipment via the D2D resource block and the second D2D user equipment transmits a D2D hybrid access response to the first D2D user equipment via the D2D resource block. Accordingly, the first D2D user equipment and the second D2D user equipment perform D2D data transmission according to the D2D data transmission information carried in the D2D hybrid access response.

Device to device user equipment and base station

A transmission system and a transmission method for network address translation traversal are provided. The transmission system includes a private network device, a network address record device, a public network device and a network address translation server. The network address record device records an inner network address of the private network device and an outer network address corresponding to the inner network address. The public network device inquires the inner network address of the private network device and the outer network address corresponding to the inner network address from the network address record device, and generates a packet according to the inner network address and the outer network address corresponding to the inner network address. The network address translation server receives the packet from the public network device, and transmits the packet to the public network device.

Transmission system and method for network address translation traversal

A wireless apparatus, a base station, and a communication controlling method are provided. A communication controlling system comprises the wireless apparatus and the base station. The wireless apparatus is configured to transmit a connection request to the base station and then enter a connection setup communication procedure. The wireless apparatus enters a temporary waiting status during a waiting duration after transmitting the connection request. The wireless apparatus stays in the connection setup communication procedure in the temporary waiting status. The communication controlling method is able to perform the same operations as those performed by the wireless apparatus and the base station is able to perform the operations corresponding to the wireless apparatus.
