A measuring apparatus implementing an electrode array and an operating method of the measuring apparatus are provided. The measuring apparatus may include an electrode array configured to measure input signals of an analog domain through electrodes arranged in a target point, main signal processors configured to perform signal processing operations including a digital conversion operation of corresponding input signals of the input signals, respectively, and auxiliary signal processors configured to replace at least one of the main signal processors, and perform at least some of the signal processing operations including the digital conversion operation in response to a replacement condition being satisfied.

A method of controlling power on a low-power device and the low-power device for performing the method are provided. The method includes performing a first operation, of acquiring sensing data, using power stored in an internal battery of the low-power device, wherein the first operation consumes a first power consumption from the internal battery; and performing a second operation, with respect to the acquired sensing data, and which consumes a second power consumption, using power wirelessly transmitted from an external device located outside of the low-power device, wherein the second power consumption is greater than the first power consumption.

A current stimulator includes a first current generation circuit configured to generate a first current, injectable into a cranial nerve cell, through a current mirroring based on a plurality of transistor pairs; and a second current generation circuit, driven by a clock, configured to generate a second current smaller than the first current by controlling a charge rate based on a voltage difference between terminals of a capacitor. Device and method with power control

An apparatus and method for tracking maximum power are disclosed. The apparatus is configured to track a maximum power at a certain node of an electronic circuit, adjust an impedance of the electronic circuit such that power at the node is maximal, and adjust an impedance of the electronic circuit by comparing power at two points in time to increase power. The apparatus for tracking a maximum power, includes a charge sharing capacitor connected to an initial capacitor in parallel, a first switch disposed between the initial capacitor and an energy harvesting power supply, a second switch disposed between the initial capacitor and the charge sharing capacitor, a third switch disposed between the energy harvesting power supply and a comparator, and a switched-capacitor power converting circuit configured to control the initial capacitor.

A method and an apparatus to remove a noise from an electrocardiography (ECG) sensor signal are provided. A noise removing method includes: receiving a sensor signal collected by an electrocardiography (ECG) sensor; extracting an ECG estimation signal from the sensor signal based on a peak value of the sensor signal; determining a first comparison value between the ECG estimation signal and a first reference signal indicating an average form of ECG signals; and classifying the ECG estimation signal as one of an ECG signal and a noise by comparing the first comparison value to a first threshold value.

A gesture classification apparatus and method is disclosed. The apparatus may include a feature extractor configured to extract a plurality of features using a electromyogram (EMG) data group obtained from an EMG signal sensor including a plurality of channels, an artificial neural network including an input layer to which the EMG data group corresponding to the plurality of features is input and an output layer configured to output a preset gesture corresponding to the plurality of features, and a gesture recognizer configured to recognize a gesture performed by a user and corresponding to the extracted features.
