A method for manufacturing a blood pressure measurement cuff includes preparing an outer cloth, preparing an inner cloth, and forming a bag-shaped portion. The bag-shaped portion has an opening on a peripheral edge of the bag-shaped portion. A curler is inserted into the bag-shaped portion through the opening, the curler being flexible and configured to curve and conform to the measurement site. An air bladder is formed by welding the opening of the bag-shaped portion such that the air bladder surrounds an inner side and an outer side of the curler thereby containing the curler. The outer cloth is attached to an outer surface on a first side of the air bladder configured to be opposite to the measurement site, and the inner cloth is attached to an outer surface on a second side of the air bladder configured to be towards the measurement site.

Blood pressure measurement cuff and method for manufacturing blood pressure measurement cuff

A blood pressure measurement cuff is a blood pressure measurement cuff to be attached such that it wraps around a measurement site and includes: a curler that is flexible and curves so as to naturally conform to the measurement site; an air bladder containing the curler due to being wrapped around the inner side and outer side of the curler; an inner cloth attached to an outer surface on the measurement site side of the air bladder; and an outer cloth attached to an outer surface on the side opposite to the measurement site of the air bladder.

With the blood pressure meter of the present invention, a pump unit is connected via a first fluid path to a fluid bladder. The first fluid path extends straight in the Z direction between the pump unit and the fluid bladder, sends air supplied from the pump unit to the fluid bladder or sends air inside of the fluid bladder to a valve.

A blood pressure measurement device includes a cuff and a control unit. The cuff includes a first securing portion, provided on one surface of the cuff, for securing the cuff to the measurement area in a wrapped state, and a second securing portion, provided on another surface of the cuff, for securing the cuff to the measurement area in a wrapped state. At least one of the first securing portion and the second securing portion includes an electromagnet portion. The control unit secures the cuff to the measurement area by controlling a magnetic force emitted from the electromagnet portion and causing the second securing portion to be attracted to the first securing portion.

A cuff includes a fluid bladder, an outer cover that contains the fluid bladder toward one end portion, a surface fastener, and another surface fastener. The outer cover includes, in an area of the outer cover that includes a region in which the other surface fastener is provided, a first wide portion in which the width of the outer cover is greater than a width of an area of the outer cover that includes a region in which the surface fastener is provided. The other surface fastener includes a second wide portion in which the width of the other surface fastener is greater than the width of the surface fastener. The cuff can be fitted to a measurement area with certainty.

Blood pressure information measurement device cuff and blood pressure information measurement device provided therewith

A blood pressure measurement device includes a measurement air bladder for being wrapped around a body part to be measured, a compression member that compresses the measurement air bladder from the outside of the measurement air bladder against the body part to be measured; an inflation member for inflating the measurement air bladder, a deflation member for deflating the measurement air bladder, a blood pressure determination unit that determines a blood pressure during the inflation by the inflation member or during the deflation by the deflation member, and a control unit that causes the compression member to apply a pressure that is higher than or equal to an atmospheric pressure to the measurement air bladder when an internal pressure of the measurement air bladder reaches or falls below a certain pressure due to the deflation by the deflation member.

A sphygmomanometer cuff includes a fluid bag, a curved elastic member, a cushion material, and an outer package body. The fluid bag is arranged around an arm of a subject and compresses the arm. The curved elastic member is arranged to overlap an outer side of the fluid bag with respect to the arm, formed in a substantially tubular shape extending in a predetermined axial direction, and elastically deformable in a radial direction thereof. The cushion material is arranged at a position projecting from an end of the curved elastic member in the axial direction and more easily compression deformed than the curved elastic member. The outer package body accommodates the fluid bag, the curved elastic member, and the cushion material.

Sphygmomanometer cuff and sphygmomanometer

A CPU of a sphygmomanometer includes a first control unit that, during measurement, controls a change in the internal pressure of a measurement air bladder by controlling the driving of a pump and/or a valve. The CPU further includes a second control unit that controls a change in the internal pressure of a compressing air bladder by controlling the driving of a pump and/or a valve. During measurement, the second control unit carries out control so that the internal pressure of the compressing air bladder is a predetermined ratio to the internal pressure of the measurement air bladder controlled by the first control unit.

Electronic sphygmomanometer

A blood pressure meter cuff includes an air bladder that receives a supply of air in order to compress a radial artery and an ulnar artery, and a cuff band for fixing the air bladder to a wrist including the radial artery and the ulnar artery. The air bladder has a wide portion that is arranged on the radial artery and the ulnar artery, and first and second narrow portions that are continuous with the wide portion and are narrower than the wide portion. The edges of the first and second narrow portions that are continuous with the edges of the wide portion are shaped as straight lines that are inclined with respect to the width direction.

A blood pressure measurement device includes a wrapping strength detecting portion for detecting a wrapping strength of a cuff with respect to a measurement site. The wrapping strength detecting portion detects the wrapping strength of the cuff prior to calculation of a blood pressure value by a blood pressure calculation unit. Blood pressure measurement device including cuff to be wrapped around measurement site

A cuff includes a cuff main body portion and a gripping portion provided on an outer peripheral surface of the cuff main body portion. The cuff main body portion includes an air bladder, a tightening belt wrapped around an outer side of the air bladder, and a wrapping length adjustment mechanism for variably adjusting a wrapping length of the tightening belt. The wrapping length adjustment mechanism has a bias spring for pulling and biasing the tightening belt in a direction in which the wrapping length of the tightening belt is shortened, a first restriction portion for restricting extension of the wrapping length, and a second restriction portion for restricting shortening of the wrapping length. The gripping portion includes a push button for switching actions of the two restriction portions. In this configuration, the cuff may be easily attached to a measurement site regardless of the circumferential length of the site.
