A synthesis device comprises a plurality of pipes, a feeding unit, a reaction vessel, and a measurement mechanism. The pipes extend from a plurality of storage containers, respectively, in which a plurality of types of solutions are stored. The feeding unit is configured to feed the solutions in the storage containers through the pipes. The solutions selectively fed from the storage containers are put in the reaction vessel to generate a synthesized product by chemical synthesis. The measuring mechanism is provided between the storage containers and the reaction vessel in a middle of an overall flow path including the pipes, the measuring mechanism being configured to measure the solutions fed to the reaction vessel.

Synthesis device and measuring mechanism

An in vivo potential measurement device includes an insulating member and an amplifier. The insulating member has an electrode. The insulating member is inserted into an organ of a living body such that an outer peripheral face of the insulating member contacts with an inner wall face of the organ at a contact site. The electrode senses electric potential at the contact site. The amplifier amplifies the electric potential to obtain output voltage. The amplifier has input capacitance Cin and input resistance Rin that satisfy Cin/Ce&#x3e;0.1 and 1/(2&#x3c0;fCeRin)&#x3e;0.1, where Ce represents capacitance of the insulating member at the contact site, and f represents frequency of the electric potential at the contact site on the inner wall face. A contact state between the outer peripheral face and the inner wall face is evaluated using the output voltage.

In vivo potential measurement device

A chemical synthesis device includes a reaction vessel, a waste liquid tank and an intermediate container. A chemical is supplied to the reaction vessel. The waste liquid tank is configured to hold waste liquid discharged from the reaction vessel. The intermediate container has a smaller capacity than the waste liquid tank. The intermediate container is provided between the reaction vessel and the waste liquid tank, via a waste liquid pipe. The pressure of the intermediate container is adjusted to adjust the flow supplied to the reaction vessel and the flow discharged from the reaction vessel.

Chemical synthesis device

An inspection device () includes a light source () projecting excitation light to an inner surface of a container (); an imager () capturing a fluorescence image of fluorescence emitted from a foreign substance in response to the excitation light projected; and a detector () detecting the foreign substance adhering to the inner surface of the container from the fluorescence image captured by the imager. The foreign substance contains a material emitting fluorescence in response to the excitation light projected to the material. The detector includes a calculator () calculating an average brightness value in an inspection target region, and an adjuster () adjusting an image-capturing condition where the fluorescence image is captured such that the average brightness value falls within a preset range.

Inspection device and production management method

A three-dimensional object inspecting device for inspecting a three-dimensional object includes a light source, a detector, an orientation information acquisition component, a three-dimensional shading corrector, and an inspection component. The light source emits light energy toward an inspection region set for the three-dimensional object. The detector detects radiant energy radiated from the inspection region. The orientation information acquisition component acquires orientation information about the light source and the detector with respect to the inspection region. The three-dimensional shading corrector performs three-dimensional shading correction on information corresponding to the radiant energy detected by the detector, based on shape information about the three-dimensional object in the inspection region, the orientation information, and shading correction information for a planar image detected by the detector for each of a plurality of working distances. The inspection component performs an inspection based on the information on which the three-dimensional shading correction has been performed.

Three-dimensional object inspecting device

In an in-vivo signal source detection method, three electrodes are arranged on the circumference of a surface of an living body to surround multiple muscle fibers; a first voltage Vgenerated when a first external resistor is connected to between each electrode and a ground potential and a second voltage V'generated when a second external resistor is connected to between each electrode and the ground potential; and a ratio V/V&#x2032;is calculated from the first voltage Vand the second voltage V&#x2032;, and the position of a signal source in the living body is detected based on three ratios V/V&#x2032;.

In-vivo signal source detection method and in-vivo signal source detection device

A method for detecting a position of a signal source in a living body includes: arranging three electrodes on a surface of the living body and alternately connecting a first external resistance and a second external resistance in parallel between the electrodes and a ground potential; measuring first voltages V(i=1, 2, 3) generated at the respective electrodes when the first external resistance is connected in parallel between the electrodes and the ground potential, and second voltages V(i=1, 2, 3) generated at the respective electrodes when the second external resistance is connected in parallel between the electrodes and the ground potential; and calculating three ratios V/V'(i=1, 2, 3) from the first and second voltages Vand V&#x2032;, and detecting the position of the signal source in the living body based on the three ratios V/V&#x2032;(i=1, 2, 3).

An operational feeling reproduction device includes an operation component, an actuator, and a drive shaft. The actuator generates a haptic drive force in response to operation of the operation component. The drive shaft couples the operation component and the actuator. The haptic drive force is transmitted to the operation component through the drive shaft in response to the operation of the operation component such that an actual operational feeling is experienced. The actuator has a stationary element and a movable element. The actuator generates the haptic drive force by a relative displacement while one of the stationary element and the movable element is inserted into the other one of the stationary element and the movable element. The movable element and the operation component are coupled by the drive shaft. Center axes of the stationary element, the movable element, and the drive shaft are provided on the same axis.

Operational feeling reproduction device

An alignment device comprising a movable table, a plurality of movable support means for movably supporting the movable table, means for reading a recognition mark, and a control means for controlling the drive of the movable support means based on information from the recognition means, wherein each movable support means comprises means having a pair of support blocks each provided to be able to contact/separate with/from the movable table and a pair of piezoelectric actuators each provided with expansible first, second and third piezoelectric elements connected to a support block and extending in each direction, and being capable of walking operation relative to the movable table by the operations of the respective piezoelectric actuators. An alignment accuracy up to a nanometer level can be attained, and the alignment device itself and therefore the entire apparatus incorporating the alignment device can be significantly reduced in thickness and size.
