An IC includes a bare die and a multiplexed pin. The multiplexed pin is electrically connected to first and second switch circuits, the first and second switch circuits are respectively connected to first and second circuit modules disposed on the bare die and control a connection between the first and second circuit modules and the multiplexed pin, the first switch circuit is connected to a first die pad by a metal layer trace within the bare die, the second switch circuit is connected to a second die pad by a metal layer trace within the bare die, and the first and second die pads are connected to the multiplexed pin through a bond wire respectively. The bare die with a larger number of die pads can be packaged into an IC package with a smaller number of chip pins.

A motor-driven fan device includes a motor, a processor, a storage with a lookup table stored therein, and a speed detection unit. The processor queries the lookup table or calculates to acquire the target driving voltage and a corresponding target rotating speed of the motor. When the rotating speed difference is not within the range of the preset rotating speed difference, the processor repeatedly adds a gain value to the target driving voltage to acquire a new target driving voltage, acquires the actual rotating speed and the target rotating speed, and determines whether the rotating speed difference is within the range of the preset rotating speed difference. The processor maintains the operation of the motor at the target rotating speed at that point by using the constant speed control method when the absolute value of rotating speed difference is within the range of the preset rotating speed difference.

A motor, a driving circuit thereof and a driving method thereof are provided. The motor driving method includes: during a motor starting stage, when a detected rotor magnetic field is a first polarity and a polarity of an AC power source is positive, or the detected rotor magnetic field is a second polarity and the polarity of the AC power source is negative after a zero voltage crossing point of the AC power source, instantly sending a trigger pulse to a controllable bidirectional AC switch connected in series with a motor winding at both ends of the AC power source; during a motor operating stage, after the zero voltage crossing point of the AC power source, sending a trigger pulse to the controllable bidirectional AC switch after a delay time after the zero voltage crossing point. This method can provide a large torque during the motor starting stage.

A motor-driven integrated circuit comprises a PWM output unit and an overcurrent comparator coupled with the PWM output unit. The overcurrent comparator receives a detection signal and compares the detection signal with a reference value. When the detection signal is larger than the reference value, the overcurrent comparator outputs an overcurrent protection signal to control the PWM output unit enter an overcurrent protection mode.

The motor includes a stator having a stator core and a stator winding wound on the stator core, a rotor, a magnetic sensor configured to detect a magnetic field polarity of the rotor and output a corresponding signal, and a motor driving circuit configured to drive the rotor to rotate with respect to the stator based on the signal output from the magnetic sensor. At a rest position of the rotor, the magnetic sensor is arranged with an advance angle with respect to a polar axis of the rotor, to make the motor have a high starting torque.

The motor driving device includes an inverter, a plurality of motor branches, and a microprocessor. The inverter includes a plurality of semiconductor switches to output an alternating current power via a first output terminal and a second output terminal. The plurality of motor branches are connected in parallel between the first output terminal and the second output terminal of the inverter, and each of the plurality of motor branches comprising a motor and a controllable bidirectional alternating current switch connected in series. The microprocessor controls a conduction manner of the semiconductor switches in the inverter, and whether to turn of the controllable bidirectional alternating current switch in each of the plurality of motor branches.

Motor driving device and application apparatus

Apparatus, having multiple motor modules, has an MCU module. Each motor module has an electronically controlled motor. The MCU module has an MCU and an interface for connecting to a bus from a CPU. In use the MCU module receives control signals from the CPU and in turn instructs a selected one of the motors to operate.
