Techniques for managing notifications may be described. In an example, the notifications may relate to an item and may be provided to a user device. A passive device may be associated with the item. A delivery management device at a particular location may detect the proximity of the passive device. The delivery management device may cause a notification to be sent to the user device based on the proximity. The notification may describe that the item may have been detected at the particular location.

Managing notifications of a delivery method based on a passive device

Techniques for managing notifications may be described. In an example, the notifications may relate to an item and may be provided to a user device. An active device may be associated with the item. The active device may store a token for communication with a local area network associated with a location. Based on the communication, a determination may be made that the item may be in proximity to the location. Corresponding notifications may be sent to the user device.

Managing notifications of a delivery method based on an active device

In some examples, a movement range indicating a geospatial boundary for executing delivery of a package including a delivery tag may be received by a user device. The delivery tag can include a modifiable display area including first identification information. Location information related to the user device or related to the delivery tag can also be received. A position of the user device or the delivery tag with respect to the geospatial boundary can be determined. Based on the position, the modifiable display area of the delivery tag can be modified to include second identification information.

Package tracking utilizing modifiable delivery tags

In some examples, a movement range indicating a geospatial boundary for executing delivery of a package may be received by a delivery tag. The geospatial boundary may be stored by the delivery tag. A position of the delivery tag with respect to the geospatial boundary can be determined using a location sensor of the delivery tag. It may be detected that the delivery tag has moved outside the geospatial boundary, in response to which an alarm may be generated.
