In one embodiment, a method for preventing an operable state in a plurality of components of an information handling system in response to a reset of a power supply includes: receiving, by an embedded controller of the information handling system, power from the power supply after the reset of the power supply; causing a platform controller hub of the information handling system to receive the power from the power supply; receiving a signal from the platform controller hub indicating that the plurality of components should be placed in the operable state from an inoperable state; determining that the reset of the power supply was caused by the power supply being previously removed from the information handling system; determining that a position of a lid of the information handling system is in a closed position; and causing the plurality of components to remain in the inoperable state.

After a guide enable signal is received, a program database is searched according to a current channel to obtain a current category corresponding to the current channel. The program database includes a plurality of categories, each category includes a plurality of channels, and each channel includes a plurality of programs. A program menu corresponding to the current channel is displayed according to a dependence relationship between the current category, the current channel, and the programs of the current channel in the program database.

The present disclosure discloses a navigation device and a navigation method. The navigation method includes a satellite signal receiving module of the navigation device for receiving a positioning signal, a control unit of the navigation device for controlling a display module to display a navigation map on a map region according to the positioning signal, and the control unit of the navigation device for controlling a prompt region to present prompt information with different light effects according to traffic information. The prompt region is located outside the map region. Therefore, it is unnecessary for the user to further pay too much cognitive attention on understanding or referring to the navigation images and instructions, so the driving safety can be ensured.
