A precision high-speed shuttle device for transporting samples between different positions of a superconducting magnet with different magnetic field strength is provided. The sample equilibrated at the center of the magnet, where the magnetic field is the highest and homogeneous, is shuttled to a higher position above, where the fringe field is lower, for a defined period of time and shuttled back to the center for detection. By shuttling the sample to different positions in the magnet in different experiments one can obtain a field-dependent profile of particular physical parameters. The position and timing of the sample are precisely under the experimental controlled. In this way various magnetic field-dependent nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments can be conducted in a single high-field NMR spectrometer.

High speed sample transportation apparatus in a superconducting magnet and transporting method thereof

An electronic device includes a housing and a display module received in the housing. The display module includes a display panel, a touch panel positioned on the display panel, a light guide plate positioned on the touch panel, a light source positioned at a side of the light guide plate, and a hardened layer positioned on the light guide plate. The light guide plate and the display panel are respectively positioned at opposite sides of the touch panel. The hardened layer covers a surface of the light guide plate away from the touch panel.

A method for manufacturing a color filter includes the steps of: forming an organic black photoresist layer () on a transparent substrate (); exposing the organic black photoresist layer using a photo-mask; developing the organic black photoresist layer to form an organic black matrix () on the transparent substrate; forming a positive photoresist layer () on the transparent substrate thereby covering the organic black matrix with the positive photoresist layer; irradiating a surface of the transparent substrate facing away from the positive photoresist layer so as to expose the positive photoresist layer; developing the positive photoresist layer to form a plurality of banks () on the organic black matrix; injecting ink into spaces defined by the banks and the organic black matrix using an ink-jet device; and solidifying the ink.

Method for manufacturing color filter

A color filter includes a transparent substrate, a black matrix formed on the transparent substrate, a plurality of banks superposed on the black matrix, and a color layer formed of R, G and B color portions. The black matrix defines a plurality of sub-pixels of the color filter. The banks and the black matrix enclose a plurality of spaces for respectively accommodating the R, G and B color portions. Wherein, a plurality of groups is defined, each group includes a plurality of sub-pixels of concolorous color portions, at least one channel is formed on the bank between adjacent sub-pixels of concolorous color portions in the group. In a manufacturing method for the color filter, the ink can flow over between the adjacent sub-pixels in a defined group and level through the channel, thus the uniformity of the color portions can be improved.

A porous material for channeling ink in an ink cartridge and a method for channeling the ink includes a porous material housed in an ink compartment of the ink cartridge. The porous material includes a body which has a protruding portion located proximate at the bottom. The bottom surface is bucking the ink cartridge according to the required ink gathering location and is squeezed to form an ink gathering zone that has a higher porosity locally to channel ink movement and reduce residual ink.

An inkjet pen including an ink reservoir for storing ink and providing ink for jetting. A port, located on top of the ink reservoir, fluid-communicated with the ambient air, is used for adjusting the air pressure inside the reservoir. A valve, operated by a spring or a resilient element, normally seals the port, while occasionally opening the port to introduce air into the reservoir when the ink level is low and the underpressure rises. In other embodiments, an elastic bag is included in the reservoir that has an opening communicated with the ambient air through a second port formed on top of the reservoir. The elastic bag expands in response to the increasing underpressure generated in the reservoir when ink is being used. The bag expansion actuates the opening of the valve so as to regulate the underpressure.

The invention discloses a manufacturing processing of making a flexible printed circuit for inkjet printheads. Through the change of the flexible printed circuit structure, residual stress at the bent part can be reduced and the efficiency and precision of subsequent processes can be increased. The disclosed process is thus able to make products with high reliability and quality. The process involves the steps of: (1) preparing a flexible printed circuit substrate and making a window at a predetermined bent part; (2) coating the substrate with a metal layer so that the substrate become conductive; (3) etching the metal layer through a photolithography process to produce a conductive circuit on the flexible printed circuit; and (4) forming a cover layer (solder mask materials such as epoxy or acrylic resins) at the window. A flexible printed circuit thus produced is pre-bent, easy to attach and align, and has less residual stress and a cover layer or film at the bent part.

This invention relates to a control method and structure of electrode device of a direct electrostatic printing apparatus which enables multi-leveled print depth on recording medium. By utilizing the electrode device with multiple electrode layers having at least an aperture passing through and corresponding to every print dot, as different level of print depth is needed, different voltage value is applied to the electrode device, thereby establishing a different magnitude of electric field and driving varied amounts of charged colorants passing through the aperture on the electrode device from the cartridge device and being attached onto the recording medium.

Control method and structure of electrode device of direct electrostatic printing apparatus

This specification discloses an electrode type print head for the printing apparatus and the method for manufacturing the same. The print head is placed in the inkjet cartridge of an inkjet-printing device. The print head comprises a substrate and a flexible nozzle plate with an ink reservoir formed in between. The flexible nozzle plate is attached onto the substrate, and the electrode set of the flexible nozzle plate corresponds to that of the substrate. When currents of different polarities are provided thereon, an absorptive force is generated to pull the flexible nozzle plate closer to the substrate. A pushing force jets the ink out of the print head and onto a printing media to achieve the goal of inkjet printing.
