A circuit of a multiplexing inkjet print system and a control circuit thereof for driving a plurality of jet orifices. A signal generating unit generates an enable signal according to a first clock signal and data. Then, a counter counts according to the enable signal to generate a plurality of time counting signals for N decoders, wherein N is a positive integer equal to or greater than 2. The N decoders decode the received time counting signal to generate N groups of start signals. Moreover, a shift register shifts data according to the enable signal and a second clock signal (or according to the first and the third clock signals) to generate i address signals, wherein i is a positive integer. Therefore, each of the heater circuits is driven under the control of an address signal and one of start signals of each group, thereby driving the corresponding jet orifice.

Circuit of multiplexing inkjet print system and control circuit thereof

An inkjet cartridge for dispensing a predetermined amount of reagents is provided. The inkjet cartridge comprises an inkjet print head and an array of capillary tubes. The print head is provided with a plurality of channels. The capillary tubes, filled with predetermined reagents, are disposed on the inkjet print head so as to communicate with the channels respectively and provide capillarity sufficient to prevent the reagents in the capillary tubes from leaking through the channels but not so great as to prevent the reagents in the capillary tubes from dispensing through the channels.

Multi-reagent inkjet cartridge

A micro fluidic module having at least a micro fluid channel barrier comprises at least an actuator, a firing chamber, a plurality of convergent fluid outlet channel and a plurality of convergent fluid inlet channel. The actuator (e.g. a heater) boils the working fluid and generates thermal bubble and instant high pressure to eject the working fluid outside and expel the working fluid through the fluid outlet channel. Then, the working fluid refills from the fluid inlet channel. Therefore, the working fluid flows consistently through the firing chamber. The working fluid flowing through adjacent firing chambers are arranged in different or consistent directions. Therefore, the refilling speed of the working fluid is increased, and the operating frequency of the module is improved.

Micro fluidic module

A micro-dispenser for dispensing predetermined amounts of fluids under the control of a controller. The micro-dispenser comprises a base and a high-density array of tube assemblies. The base, having a plurality of holes, is electrically connected to the controller. The tube assemblies, pre-filled with predetermined fluids, are detachably disposed in the holes and separately electrically connected to the base. The tube assemblies dispense the fluids through the base under the control of the controller. The tube assemblies are replaceable.

Micro-dispenser for biochemical analysis

A back-shooting inkjet print head. The inkjet print head comprises: a first substrate having a plurality of thermal resistors formed on a back surface thereof, and a plurality of orifices formed through the first substrate and respectively located proximate to the resistors; an isolation layer having a plurality of ink channels formed therein, wherein the isolation layer is arranged onto the back surface of the first substrate such that the region of each ink channel covers that of one of the resistors and one of the orifices; and a second substrate having an ink supply window, wherein the second substrate is arranged on the isolation layer covering the ink channels, such that the ink supply window, connected to the ink channels, is located at one side of the resistors while the orifices of the first substrate are located at the other side of the resistors and face the second substrate.
