The present invention relates to a pulsating current ripple cancelling circuit and a power converting system using the same cancelling circuit. The pulsating current ripple cancelling circuit includes a first transformer having a primary winding side and a secondary winding side; a second transformer having a primary winding side and a secondary winding side, wherein the primary winding side of the second transformer is electrically coupled with the primary winding side of the first transformer; a first diode electrically coupled with the secondary winding side of the first transformer; a first equivalent capacitor combination electrically coupled with the primary winding side of the first transformer; and a second equivalent capacitor combination electrically coupled with the secondary winding side of the second transformer.

Pulsating current ripple cancelling circuit and power converting system using the same

A step-up ripple free converter applied to achieve a characteristic of zero-ripple voltage, which ripple voltage is near zero, includes a ripple-regulating component, a power isolating and converting unit, a power switch, first to fourth capacitors, an auxiliary inductor, a first rectifying switch, and a second rectifying switch. The power isolating and converting unit is electrically connected to the ripple-filtering inductor, and includes a plurality of windings for separating the step-up ripple free converter into an input stage and an output stage. The power switch, the first capacitor, and the second capacitor are arranged at the input stage and are electrically connected to the power isolating and converting unit. The third capacitor, the fourth capacitor, the first rectifying switch, and the second rectifying switch are arranged at the output stage and are electrically connected to the power isolating and converting unit.

Step-up KP ripple free converter

A step-up/down DC converter applied to achieve a characteristic of zero-ripple voltage, which ripple voltage is near zero, is disclosed. The converter includes a ripple-filtering inductor, a power isolating and converting unit, a power switch, a first inductor, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a rectifying switch. The power isolating and converting unit comprises windings for isolation an input stage connected to a power source from an output stage connected to a load. The power switch, the first inductor, and the first capacitor are arranged at the input stage, and the second capacitor and the rectifying switch are arranged at the output stage. The ripple-filtering inductor, which may be arranged at the input or output stage, and the first inductor divide the power supplied from the power source, thus the voltage drop of the first inductor is reduced for smoothing the ripple voltage at the output stage.

Step-up/down direct current converter

A step-down DC converter configured to smooth ripple voltage. The step-down DC converter includes a ripple-filtering inductor, a power isolating and converting unit, a power switch, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a first rectifying switch, a second rectifying switch, and a first inductor. The power isolating and converting unit includes a plurality of windings for separating the step-down-DC converter into an input stage and an output stage. The power switch and the first capacitor are arranged at the input stage, and the first capacitor is connected to the power switch. The second capacitor, the first rectifying switch, the rectifying switch, and the first inductor are arranged at the output stage, the second capacitor is connected to one terminal of the first inductor, and the other terminal of the first inductor is connected to the first rectifying switch and the second rectifying switch.

Step-down direct current converter

A power conversion apparatus, which converts power of a DC power supply and provides it to the loading, includes a transformer, an electronic switch, a leakage energy recycling circuit, and a output circuit. The transformer has a primary winding, which receives the power, and a secondary winding, which outputs the converted power. An end of the electronic switch is electrically connected to the primary winding; another end thereof is electrically connected to the DC power supply. The leakage energy recycling circuit is electrically connected to the primary winding, and repeatedly and alternatively outputs power of positive and negative voltage. The circuit receives and stores leakage energy of the transformer, and feedbacks it to the transformer. The output circuit is electrically connected to the secondary winding to receive the converted power and to provide it to the loading.

DC-DC power conversion apparatus

An isolated power conversion apparatus includes an isolation transformer and an auto charge pump circuit. The isolation transformer has a primary side and a second side, wherein the primary side is electrically connected to a pulsed power supply, and the secondary side has a first end and a second end; the auto charge pump circuit electrically connects the isolation transformer to a loading to improve power conversion efficiency and suppress output voltage ripples.

Isolated power conversion apparatus and method of converting power

A passive power factor correction circuit includes: a DC capacitor and an input capacitor, coupled to a rectifying circuit and charged by a DC voltage from the rectifying circuit; an output capacitor, coupled to a load; first diode and a second diode, coupled to the input capacitor and the output capacitor; and an inductor, coupled to the load, the input capacitor and the output capacitor. Charging into and discharging from the DC capacitor are completed within a half cycle of an input AC voltage.

Passive power factor correction circuit, electronic device applying the same and operation methods thereof

A direct current (DC) conversion circuit suitable for driving a load comprises a buck-boost converter, a resonant stage circuit and an output stage circuit. The buck-boost converter has two input ends receiving a first DC signal, and two output ends outputting a second DC signal. The resonant stage circuit has two input ends receiving the second DC signal. The resonant stage circuit converts the second DC signal to energy and further converts the energy to a negative voltage by a resonance effect. The resonant stage circuit has two input ends outputting the energy. The output stage circuit has two input ends receiving the energy to store the energy, and two output ends outputting energy to the load.

Direct current conversion circuit

An AC/DC converter includes a rectifier circuit and an active power factor correction circuit. The rectifier circuit is electrically connected to a power supply, and is used to convert an alternate current into a direct current, wherein the rectifier circuit has a positive output and a negative output for sending out the direct current. The active power factor correction circuit electrically connects the rectifier circuit and a loading, wherein the active power factor correction circuit is used to suppress voltage ripples provided to the loading.

AC/DC converter and method of correcting power factor

A DC conversion circuit in the disclosure includes a buck-boost converter and a resonant stage circuit. The buck-boost converter has two input ends, a negative output end and a positive output end. The buck-boost converter receives a first DC signal via its two input ends, and outputs a second DC signal via its two output ends. The resonant stage circuit has two input ends and two output ends. The resonant stage circuit receives the second DC signal via its two input ends, converts the second DC signal into energy for power charging, and outputs the energy to a load via its two output ends. Then, the resonant stage circuit converts the energy, which is used for power charging, to form a negative voltage by a resonance effect, and outputs the energy to the load via its two output ends.

DC conversion circuit

The present invention provides a buck converter with single stage. The buck converter includes a buck device, a semiconductor component coupled to the buck device, a first resonance circuit coupled to the semiconductor component for adjusting operation time constant, and a second resonance circuit coupled to the first resonance circuit for suppressing ripple. The present invention controls the actuation time of circuit architecture change through LC resonance circuit timing means, automatically changes circuit architecture without active element, is balanced automatically without control energy, and simplifies circuit design. The present invention is characteristic of negative voltage source, which overcomes problems of load voltage potential barrier, and realizes a circuit design of sharing the energy storage and the filtering elements, so as to achieve fast input response, low output ripple and long service life.

Buck converter with single stage

A DC to AC conversion circuit including an inverter, a first inductor, a first capacitor, a second inductor and a second capacitor is provided. The inverter has two input contact points and two output contact points. The input contact points receive a DC signal, and the output contact points output an AC signal. The first terminal of the first inductor is coupled to one of the two output contact points. The first capacitor is coupled to the first inductor in parallel. The first terminal of the second capacitor is coupled to the second terminal of the first inductor, and the second terminal of the second capacitor is coupled to another one of two output contact points. The first terminal of the second inductor is coupled to the first terminal of the second capacitor, and the second terminal of the second inductor is coupled to a load.

DC to AC conversion circuit with resonant circuit

The present disclose relates to a power active buck power factor correction device, comprising: a AC source; a rectifying device coupled to the AC source for receiving and rectifying the AC source so as to generate an input voltage; a first converting device coupled to the assistance device for receiving, transmitting, converting and storing energy; a load coupled to the first converting device; and an assistance device coupled to the first converting device for generating an assistance voltage. Specifically, the polarity of the assistance voltage is same with the input voltage, but is contrary to an output voltage, so that the first converting device may continue to work and receive an input current under the input voltage is smaller than the output voltage while the discontinue time of the input current is getting shorter so as to obtain the perfected power factor correction effect.

Active buck power factor correction device

An extension cord with AC and DC output, includes a first conducting line coupled to a positive end of a DC source and a first end of an AC source, a second conducting line coupled to a negative end of the DC source, a third conducting line coupled to a second end of the AC source, a first socket, and a second socket. The first socket includes a first node, a second node a third node respectively coupled to the first conducting line, the second conducting line, and the third conducting line. The second socket includes a fourth node, a fifth node and a sixth node respectively coupled to the first conducting line, the second conducting line, and the third conducting line. The second node floats when the first socket is provided with the AC output. The third node floats when the first socket is provided with the DC output.

Extension cord with AC and DC outputs for coupling AC and DC sources

The disclosure relates to a passive power factor correction circuit. The passive power factor correction circuit comprises: a filtering device being used for decreasing high order harmonic of an input current; a resonance device being coupled to the filtering device for controlling operation time of the input current; and a suppression device being coupled to the resonance device for suppressing ripple of the input current.
