A cooling device for projector includes a shell, a circuit board, a light machine, a first fins, a fan assembly and a heat dissipation module. The light machine is mounted on the circuit board, and includes a light source having a red LED, a green LED facing the red LED, and a blue LED positioned between both of them. The first fins are mounted on the light source adjacent to the blue LED. The fan assembly includes a fan having a fan shell with an inlet and an outlet, and a second fins connected to the light source to aligned with the red LED. The heat dissipation module includes a third fins mounted on the light source to align to the green LED, a fourth fins mounted on the fan shell to align to the outlet of the fan, and a heat pipe interconnecting the third and fourth fins.

A liquid crystal panel includes a liquid crystal display element, a micro-lens array, an adjustable lens array, and a lens control unit electrically connected to the adjustable lens array. The liquid crystal display element has a light input surface and a light output surface opposite to the light input surface. The micro-lens array has a plurality of micro-lenses disposed on the light input surface of the liquid crystal display element). The adjustable lens array has a plurality of adjustable lenses disposed on the light output surface of the liquid crystal display element. The lens control unit is capable of controlling focal lengths of the plurality of adjustable lenses.

Liquid crystal panel and projector using the same

An exemplary MLA unit for use in a projection device is disclosed. The projection device includes an LCD panel. The LCD panel includes a number of pixels each having an opening. The MLA unit includes a first MLA, and a second MLA. The first MLA includes a number of first micro lenses each configured for focusing incident light into the opening of a respective pixel of the LCD panel. The second MLA includes a number of second micro lenses each aligned with a respective first micro lens of the first MLA so as to form a micro lens system. The second MLA is movable so as to change the effective focal length of the lens systems.

A heat dissipation system used in an electronic device includes a plurality of fans positioned in the electronic device, a sensing module, and a processing module. The sensing module is configured for detecting temperature, relative humidity, and air pressure of airflow flowing in the electronic device. The processing module is configured for adjusting a voltage applied to each of the plurality of fans according to the detected temperature, relative humidity, and air pressure of the airflow.
