The present application provides a graphics card expansion device. The graphics card expansion device includes a main chassis and an expansion chassis. The expansion chassis comprises: at least one graphics card storage box, the at least one graphics card storage box is equipped with at least one graphics card; at least one second power source, the at least second power source provides power to at least one graphics card in the at least one graphics card storage box; at least one adapter card, the at least one graphics card storage box communicates with the motherboard in the main box through the at least one adapter card.

Graphics card expansion device and mobile terminal

A computer host system includes a housing and at least one of a top expansion frame and side expansion frames. The housing includes a front panel, a rear panel, a top panel, and side panels. The top panel and the side panels are detachably installed respectively on top and both sides of the front and rear panels. The top expansion frame is installed on top of the front and rear panels to expand an accommodating space at a top portion of the housing. The side expansion frames are installed on both sides of the front and rear panels and used to expand an accommodating space on both sides of the housing. The top expansion frame has a same cross-sectional shape as the top portion of the housing, and the side expansion frame has a same cross-sectional shape as a side of the housing.

An arrangement to guarantee boot up of a computer includes a control center microchip with BIOS boot block and BIOS program, and a flash memory divided into a first protected block, a main block, and a second protected block. In the computer, an embedded controller (EC) with stored modules is electrically connected to the flash memory and the control center microchip. The modules include a determining module to check that the code of the first protected block is identical with the code of the second protected block and a recovery module able to reinstate correct code from the second protected block into the first protected block if required. A method applied to the disclosed computer startup detection system is also disclosed.

The present disclosure provides a fixing device for fixing an external electronic component on a motherboard in a chassis. The fixing device includes a fixing block and a telescopic block. The fixing block is fixed on the chassis. One end of the telescopic block is slidably mounted in the fixing block, the other end protrudes from the fixing block and holds the electronic component. A chassis including the above-described fixing device to hold electronic components of different sizes is also provided.

An electronic device includes a sensing unit, a first control unit, and a second control unit. The sensing unit detects a parameter of the electronic device when the electronic device is tilted and sends a detection signal if the detected parameter exceeds the critical parameter. The first control unit and the second control unit receive the detection signal from the sensing unit. If the first control unit receives the detection signal before the second control unit, the first control unit controls the mechanical hard disk to power off and controls a magnetic head on the mechanical hard disk to reset from a working position to an original position. If the second control unit receives the detection signal before the first control unit, the second control unit controls the magnetic head on the mechanical hard disk to reset from the working position to the original position.

An electronic device connection system includes a main electronic device and a peripheral electronic device. The main electronic device includes a first housing, a first fixing member, and a first interface. The peripheral electronic device includes a second housing, a second fixing member, and a second interface. The first fixing member is coupled to the first housing. The first fixing member defines a first through hole passing through opposite ends of the first fixing member. The first interface is received through the first through hole. The second fixing member is coupled to the second housing. The second fixing member and the first fixing member are configured to plug into each other. The second fixing member defines a second through hole passing through opposite ends of the second fixing member. The second interface is received through the second through hole to plug with and electrically couple to the first interface.

An apparatus for mounting a hard disk drive unit and an optical disk drive unit to an electronic device includes a supporting bracket defining an accommodating space for the hard disk drive unit and the optical disk drives unit and a clip. The supporting bracket includes a connecting plate and a resilient latching member attached to the connecting plate and located within the connecting plate. The clip corresponds to the resilient latching member and is configured to be attached to the optical disk drive unit. The resilient latching member is switchable between a clip-locking position and a clip-unlocking position.

Mounting apparatus for disc drives and electronic device using the same

A heat dissipating system includes a wind tunnel, a first electronic element, and a second electronic element. The wind tunnel defines a top air inlet channel and a separated bottom, and a top air discharging channel and a separated bottom air discharging channel. Air entering the bottom air inlet channel dissipates heat produced by the first electronic element to the top air discharging channel, to flow out of the wind tunnel. Air entering the top air inlet channel flows to the bottom air discharging channel to dissipate heat produced by the second electronic element, this arrangement avoids heated air from one element being exhausted onto another element.

An electronic device shell can be configured to compactly receive at least one expansion card. The electronic device shell comprises a bottom plate, a front plate connected with a front end of the bottom plate, and a rear plate connected with a rear end of the bottom plate. The front plate is recessed away from the rear plate to form a first lead portion. The expansion card is located on the bottom plate and between the front plate and the rear plate. One end of the expansion card is secured on the rear plate, and the other end of the expansion card is received in the first lead portion.

The engaging member includes a sliding piece engaged in the sliding groove. The sliding piece can slide along the slot to detach the engaging member from the socket. The disclosure also provides a data cable to connect the connector.

In a method for automatically recovering a basic input-output system (BIOS) of a computing device, the computing device includes a serial peripheral interface (SPI) ROM, a storage device, and a supper I/O (SIO) controller. The SPI ROM stores a first BIOS booting block and a main BIOS, and the SIO controller stores a second BIOS booting block. An integrity of the main BIOS stored in the SPI ROM is checked when the computing device is powered on. The first BIOS booting block boots the computing device when the main BIOS is partially damaged, and the second booting block powers on the computing device when the main BIOS is fully damaged. A backup BIOS is obtained from the storage device, and is written into the SPI ROM to update data of the main BIOS.

An air duct mounted to a fan having an end board includes a top board which defines an opening, through which the fan is extended. Two opposite blocking members extend up from the top board at opposite first sides of the opening. Two opposite limiting members extend up from the top board at opposite second sides of the opening. Each blocking member includes a tab to block a top of the end board of the fan. Each limiting member includes a projection to abut a bottom of the end board of the fan.
