A touch apparatus and a touch detection integrated circuit (IC) thereof are provided. The touch detection IC includes a driving signal generation circuit and a receiving circuit. The driving signal generation circuit is configured to control a touch panel to perform touch sensing operation and control a fingerprint sensor to perform fingerprint sensing operation. The receiving circuit receives and processes a touch signal of the touch panel during a first period when the driving signal generation circuit transmits the first driving signal for controlling the touch panel to perform touch sensing operation. The receiving circuit receives and processes a fingerprint signal of the fingerprint sensor during a second period when the driving signal generation circuit transmits the second driving signal for controlling the fingerprint sensor to perform fingerprint sensing operation.

Touch apparatus and touch detection integrated circuit thereof

A touch apparatus and a touch detection integrated circuit (IC) thereof are provided. The touch detection IC includes a driving signal generation circuit and a receiving circuit. The driving signal generation circuit is configured to transmit at least one first driving signal to a touch panel and a second driving signal to a fingerprint sensor. The receiving circuit receives and processes a touch signal of the touch panel during a first period when the driving signal generation circuit transmits the first driving signal to the touch panel. The receiving circuit receives and processes a fingerprint signal of the fingerprint sensor during a second period when the driving signal generation circuit transmits the second driving signal to the fingerprint sensor.

The finger print detection method includes: accessing a part of an input image to generate a checked image; setting a gray level range, wherein each of a gray level of the gray level rang is larger than a minimum gray level and smaller than a maximum gray level; obtaining a detected pixel number of the checked image corresponding to all of the gray levels within the gray level range; and, checking whether the detected pixel number is larger than a product value of a preset ratio and a total pixel number of the checked image or not to determine whether the checked image is a finger print or not.

A sensing and driving apparatus suitable for a sensing interface is provided. The sensing and driving apparatus includes a driving module and a sensing unit. The driving module outputs a first reference signal and a second reference signal which have different polarities with each other, and respectively transmits the first reference signal and the second reference signal to a first driving line and a second driving line of the sensing interface so as to generate a first sensing signal during a first period. The sensing unit receives the first sensing signal and detects a change of the first signal so as to generate a sensing result. A sensing and driving method, a touch sensing system and a device using the same are also provided herein.

A touch sensing system including a touch interface, at least one sensing unit, and a switching unit is provided. The sensing unit is coupled to the touch interface. The touch sensing system is switched to a first sensing mode or a second sensing mode by the switching unit according to a control signal. When the touch sensing system is in the first sensing mode, the sensing unit senses a first sensing signal and a second sensing signal of the touch interface. On the other hand, when the touch sensing system is in the second sensing mode, the sensing unit senses the first sensing signal according to a driving signal. A touch sensing system including a touch input interface and a capacitance sensing circuit is provided. The touch input interface includes a plurality of sensing capacitors for outputting a capacitance under test and a reference capacitance. The capacitance sensing circuit includes a first sensing channel, a second sensing channel, and a difference comparing unit. During a first period of the sensing period, the first sensing channel senses the capacitance under test, and the second sensing channel senses the reference capacitance. During a second period of the sensing period, the first sensing channel senses the reference capacitance, and the second sensing channel senses the capacitance under test. The difference comparing unit outputs a difference according to the capacitance under test and the reference capacitance. Additionally, a capacitance sensing method is also provided.

A touch sensing system which includes a touch input interface and a capacitance sensing circuit is provided. The touch input interface includes a plurality of sensing capacitors which output at least one waveform under test and at least one reference waveform. The capacitance sensing circuit includes a difference comparing unit. The difference comparing unit receives the waveform under test and the reference waveform and outputs a differential signal according to at least one positive edge difference and at least one negative edge difference between the waveform under test and the reference waveform. Furthermore, a capacitance sensing method is also provided.

Touch sensing system, capacitance sensing circuit and capacitance sensing method thereof

A spread-spectrum circuit including an inverter, a current source, a control unit and a shaping circuit is provided. An input terminal of the inverter receives an original clock signal. The current source is coupled to a current transmission terminal of the inverter. The control unit includes a control circuit, and changes the current magnitude of the current source according to the original clock signal to control the charging/discharging speed of an output terminal of the inverter, so that the output terminal outputs a voltage signal. The shaping circuit shapes the voltage signal into a spread-spectrum clock signal.

Spread spectrum circuit

A scan driver includes a voltage setting circuit, a counter circuit, a logic circuit, a dynamic decoder, N level shift circuits and N output stage circuits, wherein N is a natural number. The voltage setting circuit sets N voltage signals to a first level. The counter circuit provides count data to the logic circuit, which generates M control signals according to the count data, wherein M is a natural number. The dynamic decoder includes multiple transistors, arranged in N rows, for receiving the respective N voltage signals. The transistors are further arranged in M columns and are controlled by the respective M control signals to determine levels of the N voltage signals. The N level shift circuits lift the levels of the respective N voltage signals, and the N output stage circuits output respective N gate signals based on the N voltage signals whose levels are shifted.

Scan driver

A method and an apparatus for entering special mode in integrated circuit (IC) or logic circuit are provided. The IC or logic circuit receives a plurality of data bits and a reset signal, wherein the reset signal is used to reset the IC or the logic circuit. The apparatus includes a plurality of registers and a logic circuit. The registers receive the data bits and the reset signal and output the data bits when the reset signal is transferred from a second state to a first state. The logic circuit includes a logic output terminal and a plurality of logic input terminals, wherein the logic input terminals are coupled to the registers respectively and receiving the data bits output from the registers. When the logic input terminals receive a predetermined value, the logic value output from the logic output terminal is transferred to enter the special mode.
