A touch-sensitive display device includes a substrate, an OLED structure and a cover plate. The OLED structure is disposed on the substrate and includes a first electrode layer, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode layer. The first electrode layer is disposed on the substrate, the light-emitting layer is disposed on the first electrode layer, and the second electrode layer is disposed on the light-emitting layer and patterned to form a plurality of touch-sensing electrodes. The cover plate is disposed opposite the substrate and spaced at an interval from the substrate, and the OLED structure is sealed between the substrate and the cover plate.

Touch-sensitive display device and fabrication method therefor

A touch panel includes a cover glass, a flexible substrate, and a touch-sensing electrode structure. The flexible substrate is connected to the cover glass via a bonding layer, and the touch-sensing electrode structure is formed on the flexible substrate. The cover glass, the bonding layer, the flexible substrate and the touch-sensing electrode structure are arranged in order, with the flexible substrate being located between the touch-sensing electrode structure and the bonding layer.

Touch panel and touch-sensitive display device

A touch control device includes a touch area, a border area, a inductive coil, a proximity sensing unit, a near field communication unit, and a switch module. The touch area is for sensing touch input. The border area is located at periphery of the touch area. The inductive coil is located on the border area. The proximity sensing unit is for transmitting a driving signal to the inductive coil when being coupled to a first end of the inductive coil, and determining whether the inductive coil is close to an object according to a sensing signal generated by the inductive coil. The near field communication unit is for performing near field communication when being coupled to the first end and a second end of the inductive coil. The switch module is for controlling coupling statuses of the proximity sensing unit and the near field communication unit to the inductive coil.

Touch control device, touch control display device, display device and control method thereof

A touch panel including a substrate, a touch-sensing element, transmission lines, a ground electrode, a first electrode layer, an insulation layer and a second electrode layer is provided. The transmission lines are electrically connected to the touch-sensing element. The ground electrode surrounds the touch-sensing element and the transmission lines. The first electrode layer is located around and electrically connected to the ground electrode. The insulation layer is at least disposed on the first electrode layer. The second electrode layer is disposed on the insulation layer to form at least one capacitance storage unit, so that the electro static discharge can be conducted to the ground electrode through the capacitance storage unit.

Touch panel

A display module includes a display device, a pivot member, and a reflection-mirror device. The display device includes a light splitting device and a monitor for displaying first and second images arranged alternately. The light splitting device is disposed at a position corresponding to a light exit side of the monitor for splitting the first and second images along first and second splitting directions respectively. The pivot member is disposed at a side of the display device. The reflection-mirror device is connected to the pivot member to be foldably pivoted to the side of the display device. The reflection-mirror device is for reflecting the first images split along the first splitting direction in a reflection direction when being unfolded relative to the display device. The reflection direction is relatively biased toward the monitor so as to form an included angle cooperatively with a normal of the monitor.

A touch panel structure and the manufacturing method thereof are disclosed, in which the manufacturing method includes the steps of: providing a bonding layer; and forming a conductive pattern layer on the bonding layer; wherein the conductive pattern layer is composed of at least one first and at least one second major conductors with an insulation layer interposed between the first and the second major conductors. Comparing with the prior art for manufacturing touch panels, the disclosure is advantageous in material cost, production cost, and production yield; moreover, the panel lamination process can be simplified and the touch panel structure can be joined to a planar or curvy panel and facilitate the design of a thinner product.

A touch panel including first electrode bands, second electrode bands, and a transparent dielectric material is provided. The first electrode bands are disposed on a first substrate and extended in a first direction, wherein each of the first electrodes has a plurality of first slits in the form of enclosed configuration. The second electrode bands are disposed on a second substrate, facing to the first electrode bands, and extended in a second direction interlacing the first direction. Each second electrode band is partially exposed by the first slits. The transparent dielectric material is disposed between the first electrode bands and the second electrode bands to provide a changeable gap.

Touch panel, touch display panel, and touch sensing method

A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixel units. Each of the pixel units includes a first thin film transistor and a second thin film transistor, a reflective sheet, and a storage capacitor. The channel width/length ratio of the first thin film transistor and the channel width/length ratio of the second thin film transistor are both larger than 12/5. The reflective sheet is disposed adjacent to the first thin film transistor and the second thin film transistor to reflect ambient light. The storage capacitor is formed at a position overlapping the reflective sheet and has a capacitance of larger than 1 pF.

Power-saving driving method for liquid crystal display device

An image display method including following steps is provided. A backlight of a display panel is adaptively adjusted according to a backlight adjustment factor related to the intensity value of an external light and the brightness of an original image. Brightness factors of the original image are corrected according to the adjustment of the backlight, and the original image is reset by using the corrected brightness factors and original color factors. Thereby, the problem of image distortion caused by backlight adjustment can be reduced.

Image display method

A backlight modulation system includes a light source module, an image mapping unit, a histogram analysis unit, a backlight dimming unit, and an image reconstruction unit. An active display area of a panel is divided into multiple illumination areas. The image mapping unit performs an RGB-to-YUV transformation to acquire an original brightness factor for each pixel. The histogram analysis unit sums up the amount of pixels reaching a preset ratio in each illumination area to acquire reference brightness for each illumination area. The backlight dimming unit calculates out a dimming ratio and a reset brightness model according to the reference brightness. The image reconstruction unit resets original brightness factor of each pixel into an output brightness factor according to the reset brightness model, and outputs an image for an illumination area according to the output brightness factor and input image data.

System and method for modulating backlight

A touch-sensitive display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, an active pixel matrix, many driving circuits, many sensing electrodes and many color filter layers is provided. The active pixel matrix includes many pixels. The second substrate has a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first surface faces the active pixel matrix. The driving circuits are corresponding to the edges of the pixels for forming many openings. Each driving circuit includes a first main line and a second main line. The first main line has a first end connected to the active pixel matrix and a second end connected to the first substrate. The second main line is connected to the second end of the first main line through the first substrate. The color filter layers are filled in the openings. The sensing electrodes and the driving circuits are used for detecting at least one touch point.

Touch-sensitive display panel

An image processing method is provided. An image signal is received and correspondingly converted to an original luminance value, an original first chroma value and an original second chroma value. The original luminance value is adjusted to a modulated luminance value. The modulated luminance value is larger than the original luminance value as the original luminance value is larger than a threshold. The modulated luminance value is less than the original luminance value as the original luminance value is less than the threshold. The original first and second chroma values are linearly adjusted to a modulated first chroma value and a modulated second chroma value according to an original vector between the original first and second chroma values and a white point in a color gamut. The modulated luminance value, the modulated first chroma value and the modulated second chroma value are reconverted to a modulated image signal.

Image processing method capable of improving the display quality of image frames

An image processing apparatus and an image processing method. The image processing apparatus includes a first convolution unit, a weight generator, a second convolution unit, an arithmetic unit and an outputting unit. The first convolution unit performs a convolution to output edge strength according to an original image signal and a high pass filter mask. The weight generator chooses a weight coefficient according to the edge strength. The second convolution unit performs a convolution to output an unsharp image signal according to the original image signal and a low pass filter mask. The arithmetic unit outputs a first sharpening signal according to the original image signal, the unsharp image signal and the weight coefficient. The outputting unit outputs a processed image signal according to the original image signal and the first sharpening signal.

Image processing apparatus and image processing method

The invention provides an image processing method and apparatus thereof. The white component data is extracted from the input R, G, B color data which are the base components of the input image data. A maximum value is extracted from the R, G, B color data and a parameter is generated based on the white component data and the maximum value. The R, G, B color data are multiplied by the parameter to obtain a multiplication result. Subtract the white component data from the R, G, B color data to obtain a subtraction result. The multiplication result and the subtraction result are added together to generate the output R, G, B color data. The output R, G, B color data and the white component data form an output image data with higher brightness.

Image processing method and apparatus

An image processing method for individually processing an image of each pixel unit is provided. A red-green-blue color space signal to be input to a pixel unit is transformed into a first brightness signal. The red-green-blue color space signal includes a first red signal, a first green signal and a first blue signal. The first brightness signal is transformed into a second brightness signal to obtain a contrast factor, wherein the contrast factor is a ratio of the second brightness signal and the first brightness signal. The first red signal, the first green signal and the first blue signal are multiplied by the contrast factor to obtain a second red signal, a second green signal and a second blue signal. The second red signal, the second green signal and the second blue signal are performed by color enhancement to obtain a high contrast and colorful image.
