A method for forming a photo-mask includes providing a first pattern, wherein the first pattern includes a first light-transmitting region and a first light-shielding region; transforming the first pattern into a second pattern, wherein the second pattern includes a second light-transmitting region and a second light-shielding region, the second light-transmitting region is located within range of the first light-transmitting region, and the second light-transmitting region has an area which is smaller than that of the first light-transmitting region, the second light-shielding region includes the entire region of the first light-shielding region, and the second light-shielding region has an area which is greater than that of the first light-shielding region; and forming the second pattern on a photo-mask substrate to form a photo-mask, wherein the photo-mask is used in an ion implantation process of a material layer.

Method for establishing a parking space detection model and method of detecting parking spaces for a parking lot

A method for automatically detecting and tracking multiple targets in a multi-camera surveillance zone and system thereof. In each camera view of the system only a simple object detection algorithm is needed. The detection results from multiple cameras are fused into a posterior distribution, named TDP, based on the Bayesian rule. This TDP distribution represents a likelihood of presence of some moving targets on the ground plane. To properly handle the tracking of multiple moving targets with time, a sample-based framework which combines Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC), Sequential Monte Carlo (SMC), and Mean-Shift Clustering, is provided. The detection and tracking accuracy is evaluated by both synthesized videos and real videos. The experimental results show that this method and system can accurately track a varying number of targets.

Method for automatic detection and tracking of multiple targets with multiple cameras and system therefor

First of all, a semiconductor substrate is provided, and then a first/second wells with a first conductivity are formed therein so as to individually form a first part of the floating gate of single-level EEPROM and a low-voltage device thereon, wherein the first and the second wells are used to separate the high-voltage device, and the depth of the first well is the same as the second well. Furthermore, the high-voltage device and the second part of the floating gate of single-level EEPROM are individually formed on the semiconductor substrate between the first and the second wells, and the control gate of the floating gate of single-level EEPROM is formed in the third well located under the second part of the floating gate of single-level EEPROM, wherein the high-voltage device can be operated in the opposite electric field about 18V, such as &#x2212;6V&#x2dc;12V, &#x2212;12V&#x2dc;6V, &#x2212;9V&#x2dc;9V etc.

Disclosed is a system and method of image-based space detection. The system includes an image selection module, a 3-layer detection mechanism and an optimization module. At least one image processing area that may affect space-status judgment is selected from plural image processing areas. The 3-layer detection mechanism having an observation layer, a labeling layer, and a semantic layer observes the information about the selected image processing area, associates with a local classification model, and adjacent local constraint model and a global semantics model to completely describe the probability distribution of the links among the three layers, and provide global label constraint information. The optimization module analyzes the probability distribution and global label constraint information, and generates an image-based optimized space detection result.

System and method of image-based space detection

Disclosed is a method and system for object detection and tracking. Spatio-temporal information for a foreground/background appearance module is updated, based on a new input image and the accumulated previous appearance information and foreground/background information module labeling information over time. Object detection is performed according to the new input image and the updated spatio-temporal information and transmitted previous information over time, based on the labeling result generated by the object detection. The information for the foreground/background appearance module is repeatedly updated until a convergent condition is reached. The produced labeling result from objection detection is considered as a new tracking measurement for further updating on a tracking prediction module. A final tracking result may be obtained through the updated tracking prediction module, which is determined by the current tracking measurement and the previous observed tracking results. The tracking object location at the next time is predicted. The returned predicted appearance information for the foreground/background object is used as the input for updating the foreground and background appearance module. The returned labeling information is used as the information over time for the object detection.

Method and system for object detection and tracking

The present invention provides a method of integrating at least one high voltage metal oxide semiconductor device and at least one Submicron metal oxide semiconductor device on a substrate. The method comprises: providing the substrate, forming a plurality of shallow trenches having different depths on a surface of the substrate, and forming a plurality of silicon oxide layers filling up the shallow trenches, and a top of each of the silicon oxide layers being in the shape of a mushroom.

Method of integrating high voltage metal oxide semiconductor devices and submicron metal oxide semiconductor devices

A method is provided to fabricate a LCOS back plane structure. The present invention utilized a HV device such as HV CMOS transistor (high voltage complementary metal oxide semiconductor transistor) and a HV capacitor layer are applied to the substrate. Furthermore, the HV capacitor layer has a higher dielectric layer and coupling ratio to sustain the higher operating voltage, such that the operating capacitance can be raised. Moreover, the HV CMOS transistor is combined with a mirror layer which has a higher reflective property, such that the LCOS back-plate structure has the better contrast and chrominance output in per area unit, when the operating voltage range is increased.

Method of fabrication LCOS structure

A method of manufacturing the metallic electrodes of a capacitor in a mixed mode semiconductor device. The method comprises the steps of providing a substrate having a conductive layer and the lower electrode of a capacitor formed thereon, and then depositing a dielectric layer over the substrate. A first opening and a second opening are then formed in the dielectric layer. The first opening exposes a portion of the conductive layer while the second opening exposes a portion of the lower electrode. Finally, a conductive plug and the upper electrode of the capacitor are formed in the respective first and second openings that are in corresponding positions above the conductive layer and lower electrode, respectively.
