A keyswitch device includes a base plate, a membrane circuit board, a light source, and a keyswitch assembly. The membrane circuit board is disposed on the base plate and includes a reflective film layer, a transmissive film layer, and a light guide spacer. The reflective film layer is located on the base plate. The transmissive film layer is located over the reflective film layer. The light guide spacer has an accommodating space. The reflective film layer and the transmissive film layer are respectively located at opposite sides of the light guide spacer. The light source is disposed between the reflective film layer and the transmissive film layer and located in the accommodating space. The keyswitch assembly is disposed on the membrane circuit board.

Keyswitch device, keyboard, and membrane circuit board

A light-emitting keyboard includes a membrane circuit board including a lower layer, an upper layer and a light-guiding spacer layer arranged between lower layer, an upper layer and defining therein a tapered through hole, a substrate holding membrane circuit board, a key assembly including key cap, a linkage coupled between key cap and substrate and an elastic element supported between key cap and membrane circuit board, and a light source for emitting light into the light-guiding spacer layer. The light-guiding spacer layer uses its thickness to isolate the lower layer and the upper layer and its tapered through hole to provide room for a triggering stroke for enabling the upper layer to electrically contact the lower layer second circuit in producing a corresponding switching signal each time the key assembly is pressed. Thus, the light-emitting keyboard achieves the characteristics of low profile, low manufacturing cost, and simple assembly process.

Membrane circuit board and light-emitting keyboard using the same

A riveting assembly includes a base plate and a stud. The base plate has a first surface, a second surface, and a riveting hole. The riveting hole is communicated with the first surface and the second surface and has at least one notch. The stud includes a main body and a riveting structure. The main body abuts against the second surface and covers the riveting hole. The riveting structure is connected to the main body. The riveting structure protrudes out from the riveting hole to abut against the first surface and to be engaged with the notch. A portion of the base plate is clamped between the main body and the riveting structure.

Riveting assembly

A membrane circuit board and a keyboard device having the same are provided in the invention. The membrane circuit board is defined with a plurality of key regions. Each of the key regions is with a pressing region and at least one light-pervious region thereon. The membrane circuit board comprising at least two light-pervious membranes stacked with each other, and at least one light-pervious adhesive layer sandwiched between the two light-pervious membranes and at least fully filled in the light-pervious region.

Membrane circuit board and keyboard having the same

A illuminant keyboard device includes a bottom frame having a plurality of latch parts, a plurality of keying units disposed on the bottom frame, a membrane switch interposed between the bottom frame and the keying units, a light guide plate interposed between the membrane switch and the bottom frame, a least a light source disposed on predetermined position of the light guide plate, a plate interposed between the membrane switch and the light guide plate and a light-shielding plate interposed between the membrane switch and the keying units. The light guide plate has a plurality of first holes and the plate has a plurality of second holes, the diameter of each of the first holes is larger than the diameter of each of the second holes.

Illuminant keyboard device

A keyboard includes: a membrane circuit board comprising a plurality of switches; at least one keycap provided with a plurality of contact portions, each of which corresponding to one of the plurality of switches of the membrane circuit board; and a base plate provided with a plurality of openings each of which being positioned at a location corresponding to one of the plurality of switches of the membrane circuit board and one of the plurality of contact portions of the keycap, a buffering portion being formed at a corner adjoining the base plate and one of the plurality of openings.

Keyboard

A flexible circuit board is provided, comprising a flexible substrate having an upper surface and a lower surface and a plurality of electrically conductive pads overlaid on an upper surface of the flexible substrate. Front ends of the electrically conductive pads do not reach a front edge of the flexible substrate and are separated from the front edge of the flexible substrate by a distance.

Flexible circuit board

A waterproof keyboard is provided, which has keys, scissor frames, elastic layer bodies, a membrane circuit board, a support plate and a bottom plate, wherein the bottom board is disposed with a plurality of stamped nodes, which are corresponded by apertures disposed on the support plate. The means of riveting is used for riveting the bottom plate and the support plate, such that no apertures can be found on the bottom plate, so as to prevent liquids poured on the keyboard by accident from infiltrating down to the motherboard underneath the bottom plate, thus assuring that the motherboard is not damaged thereby. As a result, the computer can be kept operable. Also the membrane circuit board is mounted on top of the support plate, thus rendering the overall structural assembly easier and such overall structure more stable.

Waterproof keyboard

A type of flexible component reinforcing mechanism, the upward extension of said flexible component forming a connector part, inside said flexible main unit is an activator body, the downward extension of the flexible component forms a base, characterized in a number of spaced reinforcing units that are located at the intersection part between the flexible main unit and the connector part; said configuration is designed to form better strength on the intersection part which is the most frequently broken or damaged part of the flexible component, to significantly reduce the occurrence of broken or damaged intersection part.

A key switch for notebook computers, including a bottom frame having two pairs of upright lugs spaced near two opposite sides, a membrane circuit mounted on the bottom frame, a key cap, a rubber cone supported on the membrane circuit and compressed by the key cap to trigger the membrane circuit in producing an electrical signal, a first link having an annular base and two pairs of springy extension rods respectively extended from the periphery of the annular base at two opposite sides and respectively coupled to the key cap and the bottom frame diagonally, and a substantially U-shaped second link pivotably connected to the annular base of the first link at two opposite sides and coupled between the key cap and the bottom frame diagonally for turning relative to the first link to guide the movement of the key cap vertically.

Key switch arrangement for notebook computers

A scissors-type key switch comprising a key top, a scissors-type supporting bracket, a base member, an elastic actuator, a membrane switch, and a bottom plate is provided. The membrane switch, the elastic actuator, and the base are disposed above the bottom plate. The scissors-type supporting brackets are pivotally supported and received on the base by the pivotally engagement between the pin shaft of the supporting brackets and the connecting holes of the base. The key top is also pivotally connected to the scissors-type supporting brackets by the connecting slots of the key top and the pin shafts of the supporting bracket. This scissors-type key switch features a simplified structure resulted from reduced number of components and durable operation wherein the key top can readily move down and up without rolling thereof. The manufacturing cost is advantageously reduced while the throughput is considerably increased.

Scissors-type key switch

A key switch for notebook computers, including a bottom frame having two pairs of upright lugs spaced near two opposite sides, a membrane circuit mounted on the bottom frame, a key cap, a rubber cone supported on the membrane circuit and compressed by the key cap to trigger the membrane circuit in producing an electrical signal, a first link having one end pivoted to the key cap and an opposite end coupled to one pair of upright lugs of the bottom frame by a slip joint, and a second link pivotably coupled to the first link in its middle and having one end pivoted to the key cap and an opposite end pivoted to the other pair of upright lugs of the bottom frame.

A rubber cone layer for use in a computer keyboard, having fine grains distributed over the top and bottom sides thereof to prevent sticking to the membrane circuit of the computer keyboard, and a plurality of rubber cones raised from the top side corresponding to the key switches of the computer keyboard for compression by the key switches to trigger respective contact points at the membrane circuit, each of the rubber cones having a downward plunger terminating in a conductive element and spaced above one contact point of the membrane circuit.

A key switch for a keyboard frame with a circuit board underneath includes a square-section key base, a key body sliding up and down in the key base, a key cap pressed into the key body, and a rubber cone between the key body and the circuit board. The cap includes a plunger with a downward-opening inner hole, whose lower rim contacts the upper side of the cone. The key base has four walls forming a square tube extending up from the keyboard frame surface. At the upper end of the walls are flanges extending in from the walls; each flange has a central flange notch, and between each pair of flanges is a 45-degree bevel extending across each of the base corners. The key body includes four stub rods that slide within the corners of the key base; each of the stub rods has an upper stop surface that limits the upward travel of the key body by abutting against the underside of a respective bevel. A central square through-hole in the key body is sized to accept the plunger of the key cap, and has four air passages along the corners of the through-hole to act as air bleeds. The air passages communicate with the inner hole of the key cap. A single projection on the key body can be aligned with one of the flange notches to orient the key cap.
