A polymer film comprising polyvinyl acetal and a laminated glass manufactured using the same are provided. At least one surface of the polymer film has a void volume (Vv) value at a material ratio of 10% ranging from 3 &#x3bc;m/&#x3bc;mto 34.3 &#x3bc;m/&#x3bc;m, wherein the void volume (Vv) and material ratio are defined in accordance with ISO 25178-2:2012.

Polymer film and uses of the same

The present disclosure relates to an interlayer film for laminated glass comprising: (a) polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin having an average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) from about 175,000 to about 210,000 Dalton; and (b) about 30 to about 50 parts per hundred (pph) of a plasticizer. The interlayer film interposed between two glass sheets forms laminated glass having a pummel adhesion value that is greater in an outer area of the laminated glass than in a middle area of the laminated glass after the laminated glass has been maintained at 50&#xb0; C. and 95% relative humidity (RH) for 28 days. The laminated glass exhibits improved durability and does not delaminate over time, even in the presence of high temperature and humidity conditions.

Interlayer film and laminated glass comprising the same

A polymer film comprising polyvinyl acetal and a laminated glass manufactured using the same are provided. At least one surface of the polymer film has a void volume (Vv) value at a material ratio of 10% ranging from 2 &#x3bc;m/&#x3bc;mto 18 &#x3bc;m/&#x3bc;m, wherein the void volume (Vv) and material ratio are defined in accordance with ISO 25178-2:2012.

A polymer film comprising polyvinyl acetal and a laminated glass manufactured using the same are provided. The polymer film has a 45-100&#xb0; C. dimensional variability ranging from 20 &#x3bc;m to 50 &#x3bc;m, and at least one surface of the polymer film has a surface roughness Rz ranging from 30 &#x3bc;m to 55 &#x3bc;m.

The present invention relates to a multilayer film. In various embodiments the multilayer film is an interlayer film for laminated glass. The present invention also relates to an interlayer film for laminated glass, wherein the laminated glass has excellent sound insulating properties. The present invention also relates to a laminated glass that is obtained using this interlayer film. The present invention can effectively improve the compatibility of the resin film (B) with the plasticizer so that the intermediate layer (i.e., the resin film (B)) allows to add more plasticizer(s) to achieve the effect of enhancing sound-insulating. Furthermore, the intermediate layer of the multilayer film uses different plasticizer from the non-intermediate layer of the multilayer film so as to prevent the migration of plasticizers between different layers and the multilayer film has little or no plasticizer bleed-out.
