A driving circuit, a driving method and a display apparatus are provided. The driving method is provided for driving a light-emitting unit including a first light-emitting element series and a second light-emitting element series connected in parallel and connected to a processing unit and a driving unit of a driving circuit. The processing unit detects a first voltage value and a second voltage value. The driving unit detects and transmits a first current value and a second current value to the processing unit. The processing unit determines and compares a first power value and a second power value. When the first and second power values are different, the processing unit controls the driving unit to adjust a driving current setting of the light-emitting element series until the first and second power values are equal. The invention ensures luminance consistency of different light-emitting element series and the luminance uniformity of display apparatus.

Driving circuit for controlling power of light-emitting elements and driving method thereof

A transformer includes a first switch, a first winding, a second winding, a third winding, a first current direction control unit, a second current direction control unit and a loading capacitor. The first switch is coupled between the second winding and the third winding. The first winding is disposed at a primary side and coupled between an input voltage terminal and a first ground. The second winding is disposed at a secondary side and coupled between a second ground and the first switch. The third winding is disposed at the secondary side. The first current direction control unit is coupled between the second winding and an output voltage terminal. The second current direction control unit is coupled between the third winding and the output voltage terminal. The first switch is turned on for adjusting a winding ratio when the transformer is used to output a high voltage.

Transformer and control method thereof

A power adaptor includes an inverter, a feedback circuit, a detecting unit, and an adjusting unit. The inverter is configured to convert an input voltage into an output voltage according to a power conversion ratio and adjust the power conversion ratio according to a feedback voltage. The feedback circuit is configured to provide the feedback voltage by voltage-dividing the output voltage according to a specific ratio. The detecting unit is configured to detect a load of an output end of the power adaptor. The adjusting is configured to adjust the specific ratio according to the loading variation of the load.

Power adaptor with power-saving mechanism

In order to provide open-lamp protection to a backlight module, a pseudo open-lamp voltage is first generated according to the current flowing through a light source. If the backlight module receives a mode signal corresponding to a high contrast mode, a compensation voltage is added to the pseudo open-lamp voltage for generating a reference voltage. If the reference voltage is larger than a feedback voltage received from an input node of the light source, a driving voltage is outputted to the light source.

Backlight module with dynamic open-lamp protection and related driving method

A power system having a power saving mechanism includes a voltage regulator, a power input module, and a switching signal generation unit. The voltage regulator performs a regulation operation on a first voltage for generating a second voltage. The power input module includes a transformer, a rectifying unit, a switch, and a switch control unit. The rectifying unit together with the transformer is put in use for converting an input voltage into the first voltage. The switch is employed to control a current flowing through the primary winding of the transformer. The switch control unit generates a control signal for controlling the switch according to a switching signal. The switching signal generation unit is utilized for generating the switching signal to disable the switch control unit during an energy transfer disable interval so as to decrease the first voltage from a first predetermined voltage to a second predetermined voltage.
