A touch control device, applied in a touch device with a touch panel, comprising a touch control circuit, coupled to the touch panel, and configured to determine a coordinate position of a tip section of an active stylus pen according to a tip signal from the tip section and a coordinate position of the ring section of the active stylus pen according to the ring signal from the ring section; and a processing circuit, coupled to the touch control circuit and configured to determine a usage scenario according to the coordinate position of the tip section and the coordinate position of the ring section and generate vibration strength setting information corresponding to the determined usage scenario, wherein the vibration strength setting information is provided to the active stylus pen for performing vibration operations.

Touch control device, touch system and vibration control method thereof

A touch device, comprising a touch circuit and a processor. The processor comprises a first sensing circuit and a second sensing circuit. The first sensing circuit is coupled to a detection capacitor of the touch circuit, and is configured to detect a capacitance change of the detection capacitor according to a first reference value. The second sensing circuit is coupled to the detection capacitor of the touch circuit, and determines an equivalent capacitance value of the detection capacitor to generate a second reference value. The second sensing circuit detects the capacitance change of the detection capacitor according to the second reference value. The first sensing circuit detects the capacitance change of the detection capacitor in multiple detection periods, the second sensing circuit determines the equivalent capacitance value of the detection capacitor in multiple calibration periods, and the calibration periods and the detection periods are staggered.

A stylus control circuit used to control a stylus includes a positioning signal generator. The positioning signal generator is used to generate a first positioning signal having a first frequency and transmit the first positioning signal to the stylus through a first positioning transmission electrode. Wherein, the first frequency corresponds to a position of the first positioning transmission electrode, and the first positioning signal is a frequency signal without carrying any digital data.

Stylus control circuit and stylus

The touch driving integrated circuit (IC) drives the touch sensing electrodes of a touch panel. The touch driving IC sends an uplink signal to an active stylus on the touch panel through the touch panel. The touch driving IC receives a downlink signal from the active stylus through the touch panel. The touch driving IC decodes the downlink signal to obtain posture information about the posture of the active stylus. The touch driving IC reports the posture information of the active stylus together with position information about the position of the active stylus on the touch panel to a system processor.

A stylus used to interact with a plurality of positioning transmission electrodes includes a receiver and a demodulation circuit. The receiver receives an uplink signal carrying a plurality of positioning signals which are transmitted from the plurality of positioning transmission electrodes. The demodulation circuit, coupled to the receiver, demodulates the uplink signal to generate at least one positioning signal among the plurality of positioning signals.

An active stylus and a method performed by the active stylus are provided. The active stylus includes a touch sensor inside. The touch sensor is arranged corresponding to a preset pen-holding region on an outer surface. The touch sensor is insulated from the pen body, when an external operating subject touches the preset pen-holding region and touches a touch panel, an uplink signal transmitted by the touch panel is coupled to the pen body via the external operating subject, as an uplink interference signal. The signal processing unit is for: generating a compensation signal; obtaining a compensated interference signal generated based on the compensation signal and the uplink interference signal; generating an uplink signal to be processed based on the received uplink signal and the compensated interference signal; and obtaining uplink information based on the uplink signal to be processed.

Active stylus and method performed by active stylus

Provided is an electronic device including a touch panel, a communication unit, and a processing unit coupled to the touch control panel and the communication unit. The communication unit sends a detection signal and receives a response signal based on the detection signal. The processing unit determines an operation mode of the electronic device based on the response signal. The operation mode includes a first mode and a second mode. An input signal source of the electronic device of the first mode includes a finger. The input signal source of the second mode includes the finger and a stylus. When the response signal includes a pen-tip signal of the stylus and a pen-ring signal of the stylus, the processing unit determines whether to set the operation mode to the second mode according to the numerical relationship between the pen-tip signal and the pen-ring signal.

Touch device and detection method

A touch driving device and a touch movement track identification method are provided. The touch driving device includes a touch sensing circuit and a touch control circuit. The touch sensing circuit receives touch sensing signals from a touch sensor array when a touch display screen is operated in a display power saving mode, and generates digital touch sensing data according to the touch sensing signals. The touch control circuit periodically generates touch coordinates according to the digital touch sensing data, identifies whether an input symbol corresponding to a touch movement track formed by the touch coordinates generated consecutively matches a preconfigured symbol, and outputs a matching result to a core processing unit of the electronic device. The touch coordinates are generated when the orientation of the input symbol drawn on the touch display screen is not the same as a screen orientation of the touch display screen.

Touch driving device and touch movement track identification method

The disclosure provides a touch display driving apparatus and an operation method thereof. The touch display driving apparatus is configured to drive a touch display panel. The touch display driving apparatus includes a touch sensing circuit configured to output a touch driving signal to a touch sensor array of the touch display panel, and receive touch sensing signals from the touch sensor array. The touch driving signal is configured to scan the touch sensor array at a normal scan rate in a normal touch scanning mode, and scan, in response to a touch event which is determined as occurring in a doze mode, the touch sensor array at a first scan rate in a fast touch scanning mode immediately preceding to the normal touch scanning mode, wherein the first scan rate is greater than the normal scan rate.

Touch display driving apparatus and operation method thereof

An exemplary method for determining a position of a touch event on a touch panel includes at least the following steps: scanning the touch panel by utilizing a first touch event detection threshold, and accordingly obtaining touch signal information corresponding to the touch event on the touch panel; determining if the touch panel is in a specific touch mode according to the touch signal information; and when it is determined that the touch panel is in the specific touch mode, setting a second touch event detection threshold that is different from the first touch event detection threshold, and scanning the touch panel by utilizing the second touch event detection threshold to obtain the position of the touch event.

Method for determining position of touch event on touch panel by dynamically adjusting threshold and related computer readable medium

An exemplary method of identifying a touch event on a touch panel is provided. The touch panel includes a plurality of sensing blocks. The sensing blocks have a plurality of corresponding sensing values generated in response to the touch event. The exemplary method includes the following steps: selecting a processing region on the touch panel, wherein the processing region comprises at least a portion of sensing blocks each having a sensing value greater than a threshold; deriving a first value and a second value from sensing values of sensing blocks included in the processing region; calculating a ratio of the first value to the second value; and identifying the touch event according to at least the ratio.
