A fog discrimination method is disclosed, including a capturing step, a calculation step, and a determining step. The capturing step includes capturing a sub-image of an image. The sub-image includes a light shield body image and a light shield stripe image. The calculation step includes calculating a maximum average grayscale value and a minimum average grayscale value of the sub-image; and calculating a fog function. The fog function is a function of the maximum average grayscale value and the minimum average grayscale value. The determining step includes determining whether the fog function is greater than or less than a threshold; and determining as being fogged when the fog function is less than the threshold.

Fog discrimination method and optical apparatus

A brightness control device for controlling light-emitting diodes (LEDs) during a video recording performed by an image sensor. The brightness control device includes a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal output unit and a brightness control signal generation unit. The signal output unit is configured to provide at least one PWM signal. An oral cavity scanning device is provided in the invention. The oral cavity scanning device includes an image capturing unit, an IMU circuit and a processing unit. The image capturing unit obtains a first image and a second image. The IMU circuit obtains IMU information corresponding to the first image and the second image. The processing unit obtains a distance value between the first image and the second image. The processing unit uses a contour algorithm to obtain a first contour and a second contour. The processing unit obtains first sampling points according to the first contour and second sampling points according to the second contour. The processing unit uses a feature algorithm to find relative feature points between the first sampling points and the second sampling points. The processing unit uses a depth information algorithm to obtain the depth information of each feature point.

Oral cavity scanning device and method

An insect-trapping device includes a container, a funnel element, two photo interrupters and a controller. The container has an inlet and an accommodation space. The funnel element is placed on the inlet to extend into the accommodation space of the container. The photo interrupters are arranged within an inner passage of the funnel element along a long axis direction of the inner passage for sensing whether at least one insect passes through the inner passage from the inlet. The controller is electrically connected to the photo interrupters for counting the insects passing through the inner passage according to the photo interrupters.

Insect-trapping device and its counting method

A recording device for injection device includes a housing, a viewing window, a photographic module, a light splitting element and a signal transmission device. The housing is removably mounted on a dose scale window of an injection device. The viewing window is formed on a surface of the housing, and a viewing path is formed from the viewing window to the dose scale window. The photographic module is located on the housing, and provided with an image-capturing optical axis which is perpendicular to the viewing path. The light splitting element is located at an intersection of the viewing path and the image-capturing optical axis for guiding information located in the dose scale window to the photographic module and the viewing window, respectively. The signal transmission device is electrically connected to the photographic module for transmitting signals of the photographic module to an external device.

Recording device for injection device

A coordinate determining system is disclosed. The coordinate determining system comprises an image capturing module, a dividing module, a determining module, and a converting module. The image capturing module is used for capturing a plurality of images corresponding to the screen. The dividing module is used for dividing an overlapping image region of the images into a target image comprising a plurality of sub-regions. The determining module is used for determining a position of the indicating point on the target image. If the indicating point is in a target sub-region among the sub-regions and has an image coordinate relative to an original of the target sub-region, the converting module will convert the image coordinate into the screen coordinate according to a proportional parameter.

System and method for determining coordinates

A calibrating apparatus for an image processing apparatus is disclosed. The calibrating apparatus comprises a first operating module and a second operating module. The first operating module determines a third indicating point and a fourth indicating point according to a first indicating point, a second indicating point, and a specific point, and determines a calibration point (i.e. the predetermined position of a sensor) according to a first line through the first indicating point and third indicating point and a second line through the second indicating point and fourth indicating point. The second operating module forms reference lines according to reference points and the calibration point, forms reference angles according to the reference lines and a parallel line, generates reference coordinates of the reference points in an image and generates a calibration function according to the reference coordinates of the reference points and the reference angles.

Calibrating apparatus and method

The invention provides an image processing apparatus for processing an interlaced video which includes a judging module, a determining module and a processing module. The judging module is used for judging if a pixel in the kth frame among P frames of the interlaced video relates to a moving object. If the result judged by the determining module is YES, the determining module determines one between two pixels adjacent to the judged pixel in the frame as an edge pixel relative to an edge of the moving object. The first processing module is used for calculating a gray scale of the edge pixel determined by the determining module in an average way.

Image processing apparatus and method for processing interlaced video

The invention discloses a noise reduction device for adjusting gray levels of a video sequence to reduce noises. The noise reduction device of the invention includes a motion detector and a first noise reduction module. The motion detector is used for determining whether an inputted pixel is a motion pixel or a static pixel. If the pixel is a motion pixel, the first noise reduction module directly outputs the pixel without adjustment. If the pixel is a static pixel, the first noise reduction module adjusts the gray level of the pixel according to previous image frame. Because the invention only stores previous image frame, and does not utilizes multiple continuous image frames to adjust the present image frame. Therefore, the display system of the invention needs only to be installed with one buffer, and hardware resource can be further saved.

Noise reduction device and method

The invention provides a system for distinguishing multiple touch points. The system comprises a panel, a first image capturing unit, a second image capturing unit, at least one third image capturing unit, and a processing unit. N touch points are indicated on the panel. A first image and a second image related to the N touch points are captured by the first image capturing unit and the second image capturing unit. At least one third image related to the N touch points is captured by the at least one third image capturing unit. N sets of coordinates corresponding to the N touch points are calculated by the processing unit according to the first image and the second image. And, a set of real coordinates corresponding to the N touch points is determined from the N sets of coordinates according to the at least one third image.
