A generator control system is coupled to a motor generator. The system includes a DC port, a first switch unit, a DC bus, a first power conversion circuit, a second power conversion circuit, and a second switch unit. The first power conversion circuit has a first side coupled to the DC bus and a second side coupled to the first switch unit. The second power conversion circuit has a first side coupled to the DC bus and a second side coupled to the motor generator. One end of the second switch unit is coupled to the first power conversion circuit and the first switch unit, and the other end of the second switch unit is coupled to the DC port.

Generator control system and method of controlling the same

A method of starting an integrated starter generator drives a starter generator without using a rotor position sensor to start an engine. The method includes the following steps of: (a) applying a first drive current with a first frequency and a first amplitude to drive the starter generator to reversely rotate in a speed open-loop control mode, and acquiring a first load information according to a drive voltage and the first drive current of the starter generator, (b) confirming whether the first load information meets a heavy load condition, (c) stopping reversely rotating the starter generator when the first load information meets the heavy load condition, and (d) forwardly rotating the starter generator to drive the engine to start.

Generator control apparatus suitable for integrated starter generator and method of starting the same

A motor control method adapted for use in the startup process of a sensorless brushless DC (BLDC) motor includes the following steps. A phase voltage signal and a driving voltage signal are generated according to the startup current signal with a first predetermined value and a phase current signal. A driving current signal is generated according to the driving voltage signal to drive the BLDC to rotate. The driving current signal is sensed to generate the corresponding phase current signal. The load state of the shaft end of the BLDC is determined according to the phase voltage signal with the change of the corresponding phase current signal and the startup current signal. The magnitude of the startup current signal is adaptively adjusted according to the load state of the shaft end and/or according to the electric rotation angular velocity and the torque demand of the BLDC motor.

Motor control method and device

A method for measuring sensorless brushless-DC motor load, adapted to a home appliance, including: accelerating, through the use of a driving circuit, a BLDC motor from an initial rotational speed to a first rotational speed; disabling, through the use of a control circuit, the driving circuit; obtaining, through the use of a detecting circuit, phase voltage information corresponding to each phase of the BLDC motor when the BLDC motor is decelerated from the first rotational speed to a second rotational speed; obtaining, through the use of the control circuit, a first time period during which the BLDC motor decelerates from the first rotational speed to the second rotational speed according to at least one piece of the phase voltage information; obtaining, through the use of the control circuit, a first predicted weight of a load according to the first time period and a first lookup table.
