A motor is provided and driven by two phase. The first and second control signals have a phase difference of 90 degrees and are configured to control the first and second driving units, respectively, and the first and second control signals drive the first and second coil sets, respectively. Each of the first and second poles of the permanent magnet occupies a mechanical angle of 360/2n degrees of the permanent magnet, respectively, and n is 1 or 3. The four sets of the coils of the stator are equally located on the stator, each set of the coil occupies a mechanical angle of 360/2m degrees of the stator, any two sets of the coils adjacent to each other are separated by a mechanical angle of 90−(360/2m) degrees, and m is 3 or 2, wherein m corresponds to 2 when n is 1, m corresponds to 3 when n is 3.

Motor and control method thereof

A brushless DC motor fan is provided. The brushless DC motor fan includes a rotor and a stator module. The rotor has a shaft disposed on an inner side of the stator module and rotating relative to the stator module. The stator module has a coreless coil and a lead frame, wherein the lead frame includes six pins electrically connected to the coreless coil.

A three-phase motor includes a bearing structure, a rotor structure and a stator structure. The bearing structure has a bushing. The rotor structure has a shaft disposed in the bushing. The stator structure is disposed corresponding to the rotor structure and includes a first coil assembly and a second coil assembly overlapped on the first coil assembly. A fan with the motor is also disclosed. The present invention can increase the ratio of the effective coils of the stator structure, and further promote the operation efficiency of the three-phase motor and the fan with the three-phase motor.
