An optical disc player includes a case, a tray received in the case, and a decelerating member. The tray is adapted to hold an optical disc. The decelerating member integrates with the case, and is capable of stopping the rotating optical disc by friction generated between the decelerating member and edge of the rotating optical disc.

A disc drive includes a base, a traverse plate secured to the base, a loading frame mounted to the base, and a spindle motor mounted to the loading frame. The traverse plate supports a pick-up unit thereon. The loading frame is separated from the traverse plate, and moveable relative to the base and the traverse plate. The spindle motor is used for rotatably supporting a disc thereon.

A disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus includes a main body, a cover, a closable opening, at least one disrupting portion and at least one guiding portion. The main body includes a motor being accommodated therein for rotating a disk. The cover is coupled with the main body. The opening is defined between the cover and the main body for the disk to be loaded therethrough. The disrupting portion protrudes from the cover towards the main body for disrupting airflow generated by the rotating disk. The guiding portion protrudes from the cover towards the main body for guiding the airflow.
