An electrical connector includes a body having multiple accommodating holes running vertically therethrough, and multiple conductive terminals vertically movably accommodated in the accommodating holes. Each accommodating hole has upper and lower position limiting surfaces. Each conductive terminal includes a flat plate portion having an upper position limiting portion located above the upper position limiting surface, and a lower position limiting portion located below the lower position limiting surface, so as to limit a vertical movement of the conductive terminal. Upper and lower elastic arms are formed at a rear side the flat plate portion. Each of the upper and lower elastic arms has a corresponding contact portion to correspondingly abut a first electronic component and a second electronic component. A through slot extends from the upper elastic arm through the flat plate portion to the lower elastic arm.

Electrical connector having terminals with reduced height

An electrical connector includes: an insulating body, having a mounting surface and a plurality of terminal slots concavely provided on the mounting surface; a grounding sheet, having a connecting arm and a plurality of abutting portions abutting the mounting surface; and at least one terminal, mounted to the insulating body along a backward-from-front direction. Each of the abutting portions is located at one side of a corresponding one of the terminal slots. An elastic sheet is located at an opening of one of the terminal slots, and is provided at one side of a corresponding abutting portion. The terminal abuts the elastic sheet. The terminal has a contact portion entering a corresponding one of the terminal slots to be electrically connected to a mating device.

Electrical connector with ground plate connected to ground contacts

An electrical connector includes: a substrate; multiple rows of conductive terminals electrically connected to the substrate respectively; multiple insulators; and multiple shielding bodies electrically connected to the substrate. Each insulator is correspondingly attached to one of the rows of the conductive terminals. The shielding bodies are located between two adjacent rows of the conductive terminals and correspondingly fixed on the insulators. Therefore, a shielding effect thereof is good, and electromagnetic interference between the two adjacent rows of conductive terminals can be effectively shielded.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector is provided for a mating connector to be inserted thereto. The electrical connector includes an insulating body having a tongue, and multiple terminals. A middle grounding sheet is located between the terminals in upper and lower rows, and has at least one first through hole. Each of left and right sides of the middle grounding sheet has a latch slot and a notch. The insulating body has a first insulating post entering the first through hole and a second insulating post entering the notch. A dimension of the second insulating post is larger than a dimension of the first insulating post. A metal shell frames outside the insulating body to form an insertion space. A first clearance between a first protruding portion and a shielding casing of the mating connector is more than or equal to 0.001 mm and less than or equal to 0.0449 mm.

An electrical component includes an insulating base, an insulating layer provided outside the insulating base, a shielding member provided between the insulating base and the insulating layer, and multiple conductive bodies accommodated in the insulating base. The conductive bodies include at least one power supply body. Each of the at least one power supply body is provided with a shielding layer outside the power supply body and an insulator between the power supply body and the shielding layer. The shielding layer is accommodated in the shielding member. In the electrical component, by providing a shielding layer and an insulator provided between the power supply body and the shielding layer outside the power supply body, shielding of the shielding layer from the power supply body is implemented, so as to reduce an interference of the power supply body on a signal body, thereby improving transmission quality of high-frequency signals.

Electrical component

A circuit board includes a plurality of insulators provided horizontally side by side and at least one first electric conductor. A first accommodating space is formed between two adjacent ones of the insulators, and each of the two adjacent ones of the insulators is provided with at least one fixing portion in the first accommodating space. The first electric conductor is accommodated in the first accommodating space, and is retained in the fixing portions of the two adjacent ones of the insulators only at two sides thereof. The first electric conductor in the circuit board is used to transmit signals and surrounded with air, and compared with the conventional circuit board in which signals are transmitted through a dielectric layer, a signal transmission effect with ultra-low signal attenuation can be achieved.

Circuit board

An electrical connector is used to electrically connect an electronic component to a circuit board, and includes an insulating body, at least one first terminal and at least one second terminal. The first terminal has a first base accommodated in the insulating body and a first elastic arm extending upward from the first base. The first elastic arm is used to abut the electronic component. The second terminal has a second base soldered and fixed to the first base, and a second elastic arm extending from the second base toward the first elastic arm. The second elastic arm upward abuts the first elastic arm. A lower end of the first base is provided with a first conduction portion to be electrically connected to the circuit board. A projection of the first conduction portion and a projection of the first elastic arm in a vertical direction are at least partially overlapped.

Electrical connector directly connecting an electronic component to a circuit board

An electrical connector for electrically connecting a chip module to a circuit board includes a body, having multiple accommodating slots, and multiple conductive terminals, correspondingly accommodated in the accommodating slots. Each conductive terminal includes: a base portion; an elastic arm, formed by extending upward from the base portion and used for abutting the chip module; a strip connecting portion, formed by extending upward from the base portion and used for being connected to a strip; an extending portion, formed by bending and extending from one side of the base portion, where the extending portion is located below the strip connecting portion and does not interfere with the accommodating slot; and a conducting portion, used for being electrically connected to the circuit board.

Electrical connector capable of improving high frequency performance

An electrical connector includes a reinforcing plate, which is encapsulated by an insulating body by injection molding. Positioning structures are provided in terminal slots of the insulating body. The insulating body is made of an elastic insulating material. Multiple terminals are mounted on the positioning structures. Each metal terminal is provided with an upper contact portion and a lower contact portion. When the upper contact portions is in contact with a chip module, and the lower contact portions is in contact with a circuit board, each of the metal terminals interferes with an inner wall of the corresponding terminal slot, so as to solve the metal fatigue of the metal terminals and to ensure the strength of the metal terminals.

An assembly includes: a socket connector, having an insulating seat, multiple mating terminals and a metal shell provided outside the insulating seat; at least one first thermal conduction member located outside the metal shell; and a plug connector, including: a circuit board; at least one chip provided on the circuit board; a mating joint electrically connected to one end of the circuit board and having an insulating body, multiple conductive terminals, and a shielding shell provided outside the insulating body; and at least one second thermal conduction member having a conducting portion thermally conductive with the chip and a protruding portion located outside the shielding shell. When the mating joint is mated with the socket connector, the mating terminals are in contact with the conductive terminals to form an electrical connection, and the protruding portion is in contact with the first thermal conduction member to perform thermal conduction.

Assembly having thermal conduction members

An electrical connector includes an insulation body, at least one first terminal and at least one second terminal, and a middle grounding plate. The insulation body has a base and a tongue located in a front end of the base. The first terminal and the second terminal are arranged in the base in an upper row and a lower row, and exposed to an upper surface and a lower surface of the tongue. The middle grounding plate has a body portion fixed to the tongue, and located between the first terminal and the second terminal, the first terminal has a first front edge, the second terminal has a second front edge, and the first front edge, the second front edge and an edge in a front end of the body portion are located in a same vertical plane.

Electrical connector with central shield

A connector assembly includes a socket connector and a plug connector. The socket connector includes a main body having a tongue; multiple mating terminals having multiple first contact portions; a shell surrounding the tongue to form an accommodating cavity; and a first thermal conduction member. The first contact portions are exposed from at least one first surface of the tongue and are arranged in a left-right direction. The first thermal conduction member has a first mating portion accommodated in the accommodating cavity, and the first mating portion and the tongue are provided at intervals in the left-right direction. The plug connector includes a circuit board; a chip, provided on the circuit board; a mating joint having an insulating body and multiple conductive terminals provided on the insulating body; and a second thermal conduction member having a second mating portion and a conducting portion thermally conducted with the chip.

Connector assembly

A mating connector includes a plastic body, which has a main body and an insertion portion formed by extending forward from the main body. A mating space is concavely formed backward from a front end surface of the insertion portion. The insertion portion has a side wall located at a periphery of the mating space and running through the mating space to form at least two through-holes, and the two through-holes do not communicate with each other. A metal cover surrounds the plastic body and is fastened to the main body. A grounding sheet is located between the metal cover and the side wall. The grounding sheet has a body and at least two elastic portions formed by bending forward from the body. The body covers the side wall, and each of the elastic portions is accommodated in a corresponding through-hole and enters the mating space.

Electrical connector and electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector assembly includes: a circuit board, provided with at least one chip; an electrical connector, electrically connected to one end of the circuit board, and used to be mated with a mating connector; and a metal shell, covering the circuit board and the electrical connector. The metal shell is provided with at least one through hole running therethrough. Each through hole is provided with a waterproof layer preventing liquid from passing from an exterior of the metal shell to an interior of the metal shell and enabling gas to pass between the interior and the exterior of the metal shell, thereby achieving water proofing and heat dissipation, avoiding malfunctioning of the electrical connector and the chip due to excess temperature or liquid entry, ensuring the reliability of signal transmission between the electrical connector and the chip, and prolonging the service lives of the electrical connector and the chip.

Electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector used for mating a mating connector includes an insulation body having a base portion and a tongue extending from the base portion, terminals fixedly disposed in the base portion and grouped into an upper row and a lower row, and a middle shielding sheet embedded in the tongue and located between the upper and lower rows. The tongue has upper and lower surfaces arranged opposite to each other, and a front surface connected to the upper and lower surfaces. The upper and lower rows of terminals are exposed on the upper and lower, respectively. The middle shielding sheet has a front end surface extending out of the front surface, a slot formed on the front end surface, and a first projection portion extending into the slot, overlapping a central line of the middle shielding sheet along a longitudinal direction, and located behind the front surface.
