A medical device includes an operation portion, an insertion portion that is insertable into a treatment instrument insertion channel of a mother endoscope, and a mounting portion provided at an operation portion to detachably mount the operation portion onto a bending operation member of the mother endoscope.

A baby endoscope which forms a medical device includes: a rotary member; an exterior member which rotatably holds the rotary member about a predetermined rotation axis, houses the rotary member in the exterior member, and has a surface which is brought into contact with a portion of an outer peripheral surface of an operation section of a mother endoscope on an outer peripheral portion; and a bending operation lever mounted on the rotary member, and is disposed within a width of the exterior member in a direction of the rotation axis when the exterior member is viewed in a direction orthogonal to the rotation axis.

An endoscope system includes: a first endoscope including an insertion section, an operation section, and a bending operation device; a second endoscope including an insertion section, an operation section, and a bending operation device; and a fixing member configured to connect and fix the operation sections to each other such that the bending operation device of the first endoscope is made to protrude toward the operation section of the second endoscope, the bending operation device of the second endoscope is made to protrude toward the operation section of the first endoscope, and the bending operation device of the second endoscope is spaced apart from the bending operation device of the first endoscope toward an insertion section side.

Endoscope system

An endoscope includes: an endoscope operation portion; a first grasping portion configured to enable the endoscope operation portion to be grasped in a first grasping state; a second grasping portion configured to enable the endoscope operation portion to be grasped in a second grasping state; and attaching portion mounting portions to which an attaching portion of a treatment instrument operation portion is attached so as to enable an operation of the bending operation lever and an operation of a slider provided to the treatment instrument operation portion of the treatment instrument to be performed with fingers of a hand grasping the first grasping portion or the second grasping portion, the attaching portion mounting portions being formed respectively on the first grasping portion and the second grasping portion.

Endoscope and endoscope system

The disclosed technology is directed to a transducer unit used in a treatment instrument that comprises an ultrasonic transducer configured to generate ultrasonic vibrations. A cylindrically-shaped casing is configured to hold the ultrasonic transducer therein along a central axis. The cylindrically-shaped casing includes an outer circumferential portion having respective circular arc portions and extension portions formed thereon. A virtual polygon is formed by connecting together a plurality of virtual points located at positions outside of the outer circumferential portion and is separated by a predetermined distance from the central axis when a cross-section intersecting the central axis at right angles and a first virtual distance between the central axis and each side of the virtual polygon are defined. The circular arc portions each includes, as a radius from the central axis, a first length greater than the first virtual distance but smaller than the predetermined distance.

Transducer unit and ultrasonic treatment instrument

An endoscope includes: an insertion portion including a bending portion; an operation portion including a grasping portion and an operation portion main body; a pedestal portion protruded from the operation portion main body; a shaft member configured to be tilted; a finger contact portion on which a finger of a hand is placed, the finger contact portion being provided at an end portion of the shaft member; and a step portion on which a finger of the operator's hand, which is different from the finger placed on the finger placing portion, is placed, the step portion being provided at a position which is outside of a peripheral edge of the pedestal portion and which is an opposite side of the grasping portion across the shaft member.

Endoscope

In an endoscope including a rear grasping portion extending along a second longitudinal axis that is a direction flexed relative to a first longitudinal axis along which the operation portion body extends, a bend preventing portion covering a universal cable extending out from the proximal end side of the rear grasping portion is joined to the proximal end side of the rear grasping portion via a movable joint portion so that a direction of the bend preventing portion can be changed by the movable joint portion to a first direction oriented to the inner side in the flexion direction of the rear grasping portion relative to the operation portion body and a second direction oriented to the outer side in the flexion direction of the rear grasping portion relative to operation portion body.

Medical cleaning and disinfection apparatus

The endoscope of the present embodiment is so configured that the forceps port connected to the insertion section can be rotated by connecting, like 'L', the front section from which the insertion section extends and the rear housing section from which the cable extends, and the curving operation lever is placed at a middle position of the L-shaped connection. Thus, the front section serving as the first grasping section and the rear housing section serving as the second grasping section can be shifted to each other as a section to be grasped, and the positions of the curving operation lever and the forceps port and the positions of the fingers match irrespective of the grasping mode, with the result that the operation can be performed comfortably.
