The present invention is a vehicle disc brake for which incorrect installation of a friction pad can be prevented with a simple structure. The disc brake is provided with incorrect installation-preventing parts with which, if a friction pad () is installed with an incorrect installation orientation when a pair of tabs () provided on the disc entry-side and disc exit-side of the back plate () of a friction pad () is installed into pad guide grooves () formed on a caliper body (), the tabs bump into the caliper body () and prevent the incorrect installation. The incorrect installation-preventing parts are formed from caliper-side recesses (), which are formed in the pad guide grooves () towards the center of the caliper body, and tab-side protrusions (), which have shapes that correspond to the caliper-side recesses ().

Vehicle disc brake

In a brake device for a saddle-type vehicle, including hydraulic front and rear wheel brakes and a first control unit that controls operations of the front wheel brake and the rear wheel brake, a second control unit includes a collision possibility determining section that determines a possibility of collision of an own vehicle with an obstacle ahead, the first control unit has an automatic brake controller that performs automatic brake control to automatically increase braking forces of the front wheel brake and the rear wheel brake, and in case where the collision possibility determining section determines that there is the possibility of collision, the automatic brake controller pressurizes the rear wheel brake to brake a rear wheel, and simultaneously pressurizes the front wheel brake up to a predetermined pressure at which a vehicle body posture is not changed by braking of a front wheel.

Brake device for saddle-type vehicles

The present invention is a vehicle disc brake for which incorrect installation of a friction pad can be prevented with a simple structure. The vehicle has a first clamp unit which fixes a harness for a wheel speed sensor above an outer tube on the side on which a wheel speed sensor. The vehicle has a second clamp unit which bundles the harness and a brake hose at substantially the same height as that of the first clamp unit above an outer tube on the side on which a caliper is provided. The second clamp unit includes a harness second cramp for fixing the harness and also a harness third cramp which changes the orientation direction of the harness so as to be oriented along the brake hose. The harness and the brake hose form a swing part which is curved in the horizontal direction between the second clamp unit and a bottom bridge.

Saddled vehicle

A parking brake lever which provides ease of recognition of a locked state of the parking brake lever and improves the arrangement of the parking brake lever around a handle bar. A parking brake lever includes a handle rear arm portion provided adjacent to a left handle bar rearward thereof in an unlocked position in which a parking brake caliper is in an unlocked state, and a handle upper arm portion provided adjacent to the left handle bar upward thereof in the unlocked position in which the parking brake caliper is in the unlocked state. A rotating shaft of the parking brake lever is provided in the handle rear arm portion that is substantially parallel to the direction of the axis of the left handle bar, so that the parking brake caliper can be operated into the locked state by pulling the parking brake lever upward.

Arrangement structure of parking brake lever and arrangement structure of operating lever in vehicle

A parking brake lever apparatus for a vehicle includes a first latchet member and a second latchet member arranged along the direction of an axis of a rotating shaft of a holder member which rotatably supports a parking brake lever. The first latchet member and the second latchet member are arranged so that respective teeth thereof come into contact with each other at end surfaces facing in the direction of the axis of the rotating shaft when the parking brake lever is in an unlocked position. The first latchet member is moved toward the second latchet member by springs so that the respective teeth of the first latchet member and the second latchet member are engaged with each other when the parking brake lever is in a locked position.

Parking brake lever apparatus for vehicle

A splash guard mechanism for preventing the entry of grass, in addition to mud and gravel, in a vehicle such as a an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle). A disc-shaped splash guard mechanism covers a brake disc stored in a concave portion of a wheel to thereby prevent the entry of dirt such as mud, gravel, and grass into the brake disc. If the dirt enters the brake disc, the dirt is ejected from a first cutout portion provided on a lower portion of the splash guard mechanism. Additionally, a grass removal portion substantially triangle-shaped in plan view is provided on a lower portion of the splash guard mechanism. The grass removal portion protrudes toward a vehicle center to push grass on the ground outward and away from the first cutout portion. Since the grass is only pushed out, the grass is prevented from being cut and entering the brake disk.
