A proximity air conditioner is capable of performing energy-saving and efficient air-conditioning. A proximity air-conditioning unit for vehicles includes: a housing; a temperature adjustment unit including a temperature adjuster and a blower; and ducts, wherein upper ends of blowout ports of ducts are located above seat surfaces of seats, end portions in a long-side direction of the blowout ports are located on a front side with respect to other end portions thereof in a front-back direction of the seats, and the temperature adjustment unit is disposed between both end portions in the long-side direction of each of the blowout ports.

Proximity air-conditioning unit for vehicles

A vehicle air conditioner includes an outlet and an inlet. The outlet is provided on a side surface of a center console that is located, in the vehicle width direction, on the inner side of a seat, in which an occupant of the vehicle is seated. The outlet blows out air toward the occupant. The inlet is provided on a side surface of a door trim, which is located on the outer side of the seat in the vehicle width direction, and draws in air that has been blown out from the outlet.

Vehicle air conditioner

A garnish includes a heating element, a base member, and a circuit board. The heating element is configured by stacking first and second sheet materials and interposing a heater wire in between. The circuit board includes a power source line and is fixed to a back surface of the base member. The heating element includes a main body portion and an extending portion. The extending portion includes a power source connection portion for connecting the heater wire to the power source line and extends to the back surface of the base member. The main body portion of the heating element is fixed to a laying surface of the base member by fixing the second sheet material to the base member. The heater wire is exposed in the power source connection portion without stacking the second sheet material on the first sheet material.

Decorative component for vehicle

A box apparatus for vehicles is disposed to a side of a seat and includes: a box having an internal space having an opening facing upward; and a lid having a lid body and a pivotal shaft integrated with the lid body and pivotally supported relative to the box, configured to open and close the opening of the box, and positionally changed between a closed position where the lid body is disposed above the box and closes the opening, and an opened position where the lid body is disposed at a side of the box and opens the opening. The lid body has an opened-position upper-surface portion becoming an upper surface at the opened position and a closed-position upper-surface portion becoming an upper surface at the closed position and becoming a side surface at the opened position, and a heating element is disposed at the opened-position and closed-position upper-surface portions.

Box apparatus for vehicles

An airbag door structure includes a base material and a door member. The door member has a frame portion formed in a tubular shape and a first door portion and a second door portion which are partitioned while interposing a predetermined dividing line to be split when an airbag is deployed. The base material has a tear portion formed on an inner side of a frame than the frame portion in a back surface of the base material. The tear portion has a frame alongside portion formed along the frame portion, a dividing line portion formed along the predetermined dividing line, and a pair of protruding portions protruding toward the frame outside direction from the frame alongside portion and formed so that both skirt ends are connected to the frame alongside portion and vertices are connected to ends of the dividing line portion.

Airbag door structure

An airbag cover includes a substrate and a skin adhered to the substrate. The substrate includes an H-shaped tear seam and doors that are disposed on both sides of a crossbar portion of the tear seam and openable for forming an emergence opening when the tear seam tears. The skin includes a breakable region that is formed into a straight line and breakable to form the emergence opening. The breakable region includes a central portion disposed immediately above the crossbar portion, and two extended portions which extend from opposite ends of the central portion to outside of the vertical portions. The skin further includes, in each of the extended portions of the breakable region, an unadhered region where the skin is not adhered to the substrate. Each of the unadhered regions has a band shape whose width is smaller than a length of the vertical-bar portion of the tear seam.

Airbag cover

An air bag mounting interior trim that efficiently pressurizes and welds ribs of a retainer and an instrument panel includes: a retainer having a first wall portion disposed at a deployment side of the air bag; and a panel having a second wall portion opposed to the first wall portion, at the deployment side of the first wall portion. The first and second wall portions each have an inclined face inclined in a pressurizing direction at assembly of the retainer and the panel. The retainer has a first rib protruding along the pressurizing direction from the inclined face of the first wall portion toward the panel side. The panel has a second rib protruding along the pressurizing direction from the inclined face of the second wall portion toward the retainer side. The first and second ribs have weld end faces that face each other in parallel, and that are aligned with the pressurizing direction.

Air bag mounting interior trim and production method therefor

An automobile airbag door includes a base member, a cover member, which is bonded to the surface of the base member, and a tear line, which is formed in the back side of the base member. The tear line is configured to be a starting point of tearing when the base member is pressed by an airbag being deployed and inflated. The cover member includes a three-dimensionally knitted cushion layer bonded to the surface of the base member and a covering bonded to the surface of the three-dimensionally knitted cushion layer. The three-dimensionally knitted cushion layer is made of a double-raschel knitted fabric. The base member includes at least one projection that is formed on the surface of the base member and arranged to be adjacent to the tear line.

Automobile airbag door

While feeding an upholstery member, a sewing needle is reciprocated to form needle receiving holes, and an upper thread is passed through each needle receiving hole, caused to cross a lower thread, and pulled out of the needle receiving hole. The sewing cycle is repeatedly performed to form a stitch, so that stitches form a stitch line in a surface sheet. A direction of a force, which is generated by applying tension to the lower thread and which acts to rotate thread ends of a pair of adjacent stitches in each needle receiving hole about a crossing part of the upper thread and the lower thread, is defined as a rotation direction. The sewing needle is rotated in a direction opposite to the rotation direction to incline a diagonal line of the quadrangular shape forming the cross section relative to the feeding direction of the upholstery member.

Stitch line forming method

An instrument panel of an automobile includes a base and a covering bonded to a surface of the base. A cleavage groove is formed on the back of the base. When the base is cleaved by inflation pressure of an airbag, the cleavage groove serves as a starting point of the cleavage. The covering is formed by a ground fabric layer made of knitted fabric and a covering layer bonded the surface of the ground fabric layer. The ground fabric layer is formed of an original fabric in which the tensile strength in directions along its surface is anisotropic. The cleavage groove includes a first groove section, which is cleaved first. The covering is oriented with respect to the base such that the direction of the smallest tensile strength of the ground fabric layer matches with a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the first groove section extends.

Vehicle interior panel and vehicle airbag device

A vehicle interior panel includes a base member including a door portion and a cover member adhered to a surface of the base member by an adhesive layer. The door portion includes an end that is opened by an inflation pressure of an airbag. The end of the door portion forms a base member end together with an end of a base member body of the base member. The adhesive layer has an adhesive force set so that the cover member that covers a portion of the base member body that is adjacent to the door portion is separated from the adjacent portion as the door portion opens when pushed by the inflation pressure of the airbag.

An instrument panel has a substrate and a cover formed by laminating a cushion layer on the back surface of a cover body. A terminal portion of the cushion layer includes a body portion and a peripheral edge portion. The peripheral edge portion is plastically deformed into a compressed state and located around the body portion. The terminal portion of the substrate includes a flat portion and a flange portion. The flange portion surrounds the flat portion in a state of protruding to the top side. The cover is adhered onto the terminal portion of the substrate by adhering the body portion onto the flat portion and adhering the peripheral edge portion onto the flange portion. The peripheral edge portion is adhered onto the flange portion in a state where the peripheral edge portion is folded along the top surface and a side surface of the flange portion.

Structure of terminal portion of product with cover

An instrument panel has a base member and a cover member, which is adhered to the top surface of the base member. A first cleavage groove serving as a start point of rupture of the base member caused by inflation pressure of an airbag is formed in the back surface of the base member. The cover member is configured by a ground fabric layer, a cover layer adhered to the top surface of the ground fabric layer, and a cushion layer adhered to the back surface of the ground fabric layer. The cushion layer is formed of a knitted original fabric. A second cleavage groove is formed only in the back surface of the cushion layer out of the layers configuring the cover member in correspondence with the first cleavage groove of the base member.

Vehicle interior panel and vehicle airbag apparatus

A grille shutter device selectively opening and closing a grille opening in the front grille of a vehicle. The grille shutter device includes a fin, a motor, a transmission mechanism, a first switch, and a second switch. The fin has a support shaft, which is rotatably supported by the front grille. When supplied with electricity, the motor rotates its output shaft in one direction. The transmission mechanism converts the rotation of the output shaft to a swinging motion of the fin, thereby swinging the fin between a closed position, where the fin closes the grille opening, and an open position, where the fin opens the grille opening. When the fin is swung to the closed position, the first switch stops the motor. When the fin is swung to the open position, the second switch stops the motor.
