An operation setting device includes a first step of inputting an operation sequence and an operation position of the ejector by touching a desired point in a graph displayed on the setting display screen, a second step of inputting operation parameters including an operation speed, an operation position, an operation time, and an operation pattern of the ejector on the basis of the operation position thus input, and a third step of displaying in the graph and numerically displaying in a numerical value display part of the setting display screen the operation position and the operation parameters thus input. The operation position and operation parameters for each operation set in the first step to the third step are displayed in the graph and numerically displayed in the numerical value display part.

Operation setting device and injection molding machine

A display device with a touch panel and a controller having a computer function to display various kinds of screens on a display surface of the display. The controller includes a multiple screen display processing function part wherein at least two independent screen display parts are displayed side by side, a screen switch processing function part to enable switching of a touched screen to the other screen by a touch/slide operation on the screen, and a switch key display processing function part by which a key display part is arranged on the display surface in an area other than the screen display parts. A plurality of switch keys are arranged and displayed in the key display part according to a key pattern corresponding to the order of the screens switched by a touch/slide operation so as to enable selection of the screens to display by a touch operation.

Even when a power switch is turned off, the controller of an injection molding machine does not shut off a power supply immediately. The controller determines whether the present state of the injection molding machine is a previously-set confirmation-requiring state, such as a lockup state of a mold clamping unit using a toggle link mechanism, or a nozzle touch state of an injection unit. When the present state is not the confirmation-requiring state, the controller shuts off the power supply. When the present state is the confirmation-requiring state, the controller displays on a display screen a confirmation window for confirmation of power shut off. The controller shuts off the power supply in accordance with a shut-off operation performed on the basis of the confirmation window.

Power shut-off method for injection molding machine

A printer is connected to a printer connection section of an injection molding machine in order to print data regarding the injection molding machine. A controller of the injection molding machine has a printer judgment function for determining a type of the printer, and a data conversion function for converting print data to control codes suitable for the type of the printer. Before printing, a type of the printer connected to the printer connection section is determined by means of the printer judgment function. During printing, print data are converted to control codes suitable for the determined type of the printer by means of the data conversion function, and the control codes are transmitted to the printer.

An input device for an injection molding machine is constructed with an input touch panel fitted over a display screen. The input touch panel is formed greater than the display screen. A panel extension portion of the input touch panel is located outside of the display screen. At least one key portion having at least one specific key is displayed on the panel extension portion. By this arrangement, no separate switch panel, such as a membrane sheet switch, is necessary and all inputs can be made by touch operation.

The present invention provides an input device for an injection molding machine, having a touch panel-type display screen. The display screen has set value displays for displaying set values of molding conditions. The set value display consists of a plurality of set value windows. Touching one of the set value windows makes an input element for inputting a set value of the molding conditions be displayed on the display screen. The input element constitutes a scale. Touching the scale changes numeric values displayed in the set value windows.
