Provided is an endoscope system including an elongated tube with one or more channels extending in a longitudinal direction along the elongated tube. The channels allow inserting of a viewing device for obtaining images from the distal end, inserting of surgical instruments to operate at the distal end, or passing of materials such as air or water. The channel for inserting the viewing device is enclosed or has a cover at the distal end of the elongated tube, such that the viewing device has no direct contact of body tissues, thereby eliminating the need for sterilization. Also provided is a safe and economical method for conducting endoscopy involving one-time use of a tube to keep the viewing device from directly contacting the body tissues.

Multi-channel system

A handheld endoscope has a disposable, single-use portion that includes a fluid hub, cannula, distal tip and is steerable by the operator though actuation of one or two levers. The endoscope also includes re-usable portion that has a handle and display module. The distal tip includes LED illumination and an imaging module that feeds live video to the display module that is rotatable to allow viewing by the operator and others. The single-use and re-usable portions mate and un-mate with each other via physically separated mechanical and electrical connectors. The single use portion can include grasper device that can be actuated by an operator using an actuation tab.

An endoscope system is provided. The endoscope system includes an insert tube and a handle. The insert tube includes a first connector, a first controller, a first parameter and an insert-tube data. The first parameter and the insert-tube data are corresponding to each other. The handle includes a second connector and a second controller. The second connector electronically connects to the first connector, and the second controller receives and accords to the first parameter to generate at least one first control signal to the first controller to control the insert tube.

Endoscope system

An insert tube and an endoscope using the same are provided. The insert tube comprises a catheter. The catheter comprises a distal section, a bending section and a extend section, and the distal section. The bending section and the extend section are integrally formed through a metal material. A plurality of a first line groove and a plurality of second line groove are formed and arranged in staggered relation on two corresponding sides of the bending section along the central axis direction of the catheter, respectively. At least one the second line groove is arranged between the first line grooves. The first line groove and the second line groove have a first arc length and a second arc length, respectively. A length of the first arc length is greater than a length of the second arc length.

Insert tube and endoscope using the same

An image processing system includes an image sensor receiving light beams to output an output signal corresponding to a horizontal scan period and an image processor electronically connecting to the image sensor and including a signal interceptor and a calculating unit. The image processor transforms the output signal to generate a combining signal. The signal interceptor intercepts a first part of the combining signal corresponding to a first clock period of the horizontal scan period to obtain a first signal and intercepts a second part of the combining signal corresponding to a second clock period of the horizontal scan period to obtain a second signal. The calculating unit calculates the first signal and the second signal to obtain an image pixel data according to a differential calculation. The number of clocks of the first clock period is the same as the number of clocks of the second clock period.

A handheld surgical endoscope has a disposable, single-use portion that includes a fluid hub, cannula, distal tip and an integrated needle and a re-usable portion that includes a handle and display module. The distal tip includes LED illumination and an imaging module that feeds live video to the display module that is rotatable to allow viewing by the operator and others. The single-use and re-usable portions mate and un-mate with each other via physically separated mechanical and electrical connectors. The needle is actuatable to allow for both recessed and extended positions. The needle delivers liquid from a attached syringe that can be attached to the handle to move therewith or only connected to the endoscope by a flexible conduit. The surgical endoscope is configured for operation by a single clinician in many procedures.

A handheld surgical endoscope has a disposable, single-use portion that includes a and a re-usable portion that includes a handle and display module. The distal tip includes LED illumination and an imaging module that feeds live video to the display module. The imaging module includes a lens system of no more than two lenses and provides the imaging module with a field of view greater than 120 degrees, preferably 130 degrees or more, and most preferably 140 degrees or more. LED illumination is provided by plural LED arranged symmetrically around an optical axis to provide a field of illumination that substantially coincides with the field of view of an imaging module. An image brightness balance arrangement selectively varies the illumination provided by different LEDs to reduce brightness differences between different areas of the displayed images.

Extruded cannula and molded distal tip parts can be separately formed which aids in manufacturing and assembly.

A structure of an image-sensing module includes: a top cover; a bottom cover; a set of optical lenses module; at least an elastic pressing strap; an image-sensing transistor; and a soft-tppe circuit board in combination with the image-sensing transistor in transmitting electrical signals, wherein the top cover is provided with a through hole for the engagement with the optical lenses module, and the mounting face between the top cover and the bottom cover is provided with a protruded and depressed bodies for locking with each other, such that the top and the bottom covers can be sealed or detached, and within the interior of the top cover and the bottom cover, the image-sensing transistor, the elastic pressing straps and the soft-type circuit board connected to the image-sensing transistor are stacked with one another, such that the top cover, by means of a lower pressing-strap, causes the soft-type circuit board stacked and connected with the image-sensing transistor portion to mutually press against each other, and the image-sensing transistor urgingly connected at the internal surface of the bottom cover, and the sensing portion faces the position mounted with the optical lenses module mounted at the top cover, and receives the projection of images passing through the optical lenses module to produce image electrical signals which are then transmitted via the soft-type circuit board.

Method of word screen formation by laser light projection and the structure for the same

A camera with laser view framing function includes a housing that is provided with a laser generated near a lens of the camera. The laser generator has a beam emitting hole that is oriented substantially the same direction as the lens. The housing is formed with a window on a wall that corresponds to the beam emitting hole. A shade having a frame profile through hole is insertably provided in the window. A switch key for actuating the laser generating is projectingly provided on the housing. When the switch key is pressed, the laser generator is actuated to emit a laser beam, which passes through the frame profile through hole of the shade to form a profile light frame framing an area of which a user is taking a picture.

Camera with laser view framing function

A laser level includes a transparent container, a buoy with a built-in laser component, and a support frame. The center of gravity of the buoy is always at the center of the buoy. One end of the buoy emits horizontal laser beams, the other end thereof emitting vertical laser beams. Two spindles respectively extend from both sides of the center of the buoy such that the spindles are perpendicular to the body of the buoy. The distance between the distal ends of the spindles is equivalent to the internal width of the container. Brackets are disposed on the inner wall of the container at a suitable height. The buoy is mounted on the brackets by means of the spindles to achieve balance and stability. The container is supported on the support frame so that it can be placed on surfaces of any uncertain plane. The container is filled with a liquid to the bottom rim of the buoy so that the buoy is always kept level on the liquid and the laser beams emitted from the buoy are always horizontal and vertical to achieve precise measurement.
