A light blocking system is disclosed, which is adapted to be used in a vertical blind which includes a headrail, a control mechanism provided in the headrail, and a covering assembly including a plurality of slats. Each of the slats is connected to the control mechanism with an end thereof, and therefore is hung below the headrail. A gap is left between the covering assembly and the headrail. The control mechanism is adapted to turn the slats in situ relative to the headrail, or to move the slats back and forth in a longitudinal direction of the headrail. The light blocking system includes a cover plate provided corresponding to the gap, wherein the cover plate covers the gap when the covering assembly is in a closed state.

Light blocking system for vertical blind

A window blind includes a headrail, a bottom rail, and a plurality of slats. The slats are horizontally suspended between the headrail and the bottom rail through ladder tapes. Each ladder tape has two warps, wherein an end of the warps is connected to a ladder drum, and another end thereof passes through the bottom rail to be connected thereto. When the ladder drum is rotated, the ladder tapes could be pulled smoothly, and the slats supported by the ladder tapes could be tightly closed. Whereby, the window blind could provide a good shielding effect.

Window blind

A window covering includes a headrail, a bottom rail, a shading member, two pulley assemblies, and a cord. The shading member is between the headrail and the bottom rail. The pulley assemblies are received in the headrail, each of which has a frame and a pulley. The frame has an opening, and the pulley is connected to the frame. The cord is a woven Y-shaped cord, having a single control section and two lift sections. The cord runs over the pulleys of the pulley assemblies, the single control section extends out of the headrail to be operated by a user, and the lift sections extend out of the frames via the openings respectively to connect to the bottom rail through the shading member.

Window covering

A window covering includes a headrail, a bottom rail, a shading member, two pulley assemblies, a car, a control cord, and a transmission cord. The shading member is between the headrail and the bottom rail. The pulley assemblies and the car are received in the headrail, and the car is free for reciprocation. The control cord runs around one of the pulley assemblies and the car, and then going out of the headrail to be pulled or released by a user. The transmission cord has a main section and two branch sections, wherein the main section runs around the other one of the pulley assemblies and the car, and the branch sections go out of the headrail to be connected to the bottom rail.

A window blind includes a headrail, a bottom rail, a plurality of slats, and a cord. The slats are arranged between the headrail and the bottom rail, and each slat has two bores and one or plural of locking slots. Each locking slot has an open end and a closed end, and the opening end of the locking slot is connected to the bore. The cord passes through the headrail and the bores of the slats, and being fastened to the bottom rail. A diameter of the cord is greater than or equal to a width of the locking slot. As a result, the cord goes into the locking slot quickly and can be clamped by edges of the locking slot while a kid is trying to pull the cord out of the slats.

A window covering includes a headrail, a bottom rail, a shading member, two pulley assemblies, and a cord. The shading member is between the headrail and the bottom rail. The pulley assemblies are received in the headrail, each of which has a frame and a pulley. The frame has an opening, and the pulley is connected to the frame. The cord is a woven Y-shaped cord, having a control section and two lift sections. The cord runs over the pulleys of the pulley assemblies, the control section extends out of the headrail to be operated by a user, and the lift sections extend out of the frames via the openings respectively to connect to the bottom rail through the shading member.

A head rail of a window covering includes a rail member, two rail lids engaging opposite ends of the rail member, and two lid fasteners to fix a rail lids. The lid fastener includes a main plate, two clip plates, and two stop plates. The lid fastener engages the rail member with the clip plates clipping the rail member and the stop plates holding the rail lid to securely fix the rail lid to the rail member. The lid fastener provides a fast and easy way to engage and disengage the rail lid.

A slat controller for a window blind has a gear, a worm member, and a connector. The gear connects to slats through cords, and the worm member having spiral teeth meshed with the gear. The connector has flexible arms, and the flexible arms have teeth. The worm member has teeth normally engaging the teeth of the connector, and the teeth of the worm member disengage the teeth of the connector to protect the meshed gear and the worm member when the user keeps turning the tilting rod beyond the allowable turning range.

Slat controller of window blind

A vane assembly of a vertical window covering includes a vane carrier and a vane hung thereon. The vane carrier has front wall and a rear wall with top ends connected to form a clip slot therebetween, and a hook on the rear wall in the clip slot. The hook has a slot and a slot bottom. The vane has a bore to engage the hook of the vane carrier. The slot bottom of the hook has a curved surface complementary to at least a portion of an edge of the bore to avoid damage of the vane.

A cord release for a window covering includes at least two cases engaged together to form a barrel with an opening at a top thereof. The cord release is defined with a frontal plane and a sagittal plane. A left side and a right side are defined at opposite sides of the sagittal plane, and a front side and a back side are defined at opposite sides of the frontal plane. The opening has a first collecting portion at the front side of the frontal plane and the right side of the sagittal plane, and a second collecting portion at the back side of the frontal plane and the left side of the sagittal plane. Therefore, the cords will be led to the first collecting portion and the second collecting portion to disengage the cases by the struggle force.

Cord release of window covering

A cord release of the present invention includes two cases engaged together to form a shell with a top opening at a top thereof. At least one of the cases is provided with a guiding member at a top thereof, and the guiding member is located at a junction of the cases. The guiding member has a guiding face with a convex surface facing the center of the top opening. Therefore, the guiding member may lead the cords to opposite sides of the top opening, which are located away from the junction of the case, to disengage the cases easily.

The present invention provides a cord controller to be mounted on a top rail of a window covering. The cord controller includes a base, a cord controlling device, and a cord regulating device. The base has a chamber therein and an inlet and an outlet on opposite sides of the chamber, and the cord controlling device and the cord regulating device are received in the chamber. The cord controlling device has a gap between the inlet and the outlet for the cord to pass through. The cord regulating device is adjacent to the outlet and has cord pressing bar to form a passageway between the cord pressing bar and the base for the cord to pass through. Therefore, the cord controller may avoid the cords twisting and keep a smooth movement of the cords.

Cord controller of window covering

A cordless window blind structure is provided. A movable seat having a pulley block and a cord-winding assembly is disposed within a head rail of the cordless blind. The pulley block is connected to a lift cord wound through a first positioning element, so as to control the opening and closing of a blind body. And the cord-winding assembly has a cord winder attached to one end of a retrieving cord and a torsion spring. The other end of the retrieving cord is fastened either on the head rail, the movable seat, a second positioning element, or an end cap. The structure of the second positioning element is resembled to the first positioning element. By taking one end of the retrieving cord as a pivot, the movable seat moves laterally therealong the head rail by a restoring force generated through the torsion spring.

Cordless window blind structure

A bracket and head rail assembly is provided. A recess is formed at both ends of the upper portion of a head rail. The recess is sunken at both sides to form a first slot and a second slot. The bracket includes a body and a fastener, wherein a claw is extended from the body, and an elastic part is extended from the fastener and bears against the body, such that the fastener is slidably disposed in the body. When being assembled, the first and second slots are easily locked with the claw and the fastener, and alternatively, they are exchanged with each other for locking with the claw and the fastener respectively. Then, the head rail and the fastener are designed into a thin configuration, and then, formed by bending and processing sheets, so as to achieve the advantages of simple assembly, mass production, and nice appearance.

Bracket and head rail assembly

A cord lock apparatus of a window shade is provided, which includes a base, a panel structure, and a cord gripping device. The base includes an adjustable portion allowing cords to pass through and a first-direction ascending opening is formed allowing the cords to be alternatively positioned. The panel structure having an insert plate and a second-direction ascending opening is provided allowing cords to pass through, when the cords are selectively positioned along the inclined surface, the panel structure is moved in a vertically upward or downward motion. The cord gripping device has an engaging block and a knurled roller, the engaging block is removably attached within the accommodation recess. The knurled roller is positioned near the top of the engaging block and a gap is formed therebetween, such that the knurled roller is frictionally locked with or released from the cords when the panel structure moves vertically downward or upward.
