A method for generating multiple windows frames, an electronic device thereof, and a computer program product using the method are provided. In the present method, first, a touch trajectory generated by continuously touching a touch panel of the electronic device is detected, wherein the center of the touch panel is a display area, and a non-display area surrounds the display area. Then, whether the touch trajectory is started from one side of the non-display area and passed through the display area to be extended to another side of the non-display area is determined. If so, the display area is split according to the touch trajectory to display at least two windows frames. As a result, an intuitional and convenient method for generating multiple windows frames in the display area is provided, and the operation of the electronic device is made very convenient.

A driving circuit comprises a plurality of shift register (SR). An iSR among the plurality SR's comprises a resetting circuit, an input switch, a capacitor, and an output circuit. The resetting circuit is used for adjusting a resetting voltage according to a control voltage. The input switch is used for adjusting the control voltage according to an (i&#x2212;2)driving signal from an (i&#x2212;2)SR among the plurality of SR's, selectively. The capacitor is used for adding a voltage variation of a boosting signal to the control voltage. The output circuit is used for taking an iinput signal as an ioutput signal according to the control voltage and the resetting voltage, selectively. The positive edge of the boosting voltage leads the negative edge of the iinput signal.

A transistor structure disposed on a substrate includes a gate electrode, a gate insulating layer overlapping the gate electrode, a channel layer overlapping the gate electrode, and a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes overlapping the gate electrode. The gate insulating layer is disposed between the channel layer and the gate electrode. Besides, the gate insulating layer is located among the first electrodes, the second electrodes, and the gate electrode. The first electrodes and the second electrodes are alternately arranged along a first direction. Each of the first electrodes has a first width along the first direction. Each of the second electrodes has a second width along the first direction. A ratio of the first width to the second width ranges from 2 to 20. A driving circuit structure having the transistor structure is also provided.

The cover, slidably disposed on the main body between a first configuration and a second configuration, includes a first portion and a second portion connected thereto. An electronic device and a user interface display method thereof are provided. The method organizes a plurality of computer programs and a web browser executable on the electronic device into a virtual book including a plurality of ordinary pages and a list page. Each ordinary page of the virtual book includes a user interface of one of the computer programs or a web page displayed by the web browser. When one of the ordinary pages is displayed as the current page, the user interface or the web page of the current page is accessible to the user of the electronic device. The list page includes a plurality of entries and each of the entries represents one of the ordinary pages.

A handheld electronic device including a first body, a second body, a third body, a gear set and a pivot member pivoted on the first body is provided. The second body having a first rack is slidably coupled with the first body. The third body having a second rack is slidably coupled with the pivot member. The gear set is disposed on the first body and coupled with the first rack and the second rack. When the third body shifts a first distance relative to the first body along a first operating direction and drives the gear set, the second body is driven to shift with respect to the first body along a second operating direction opposite to the first operating direction and exposed by the third body. After the second body is exposed by the third body, the third body is tilted with respect to the first body.

A mobile device having a user interface supporting multiple windows is disclosed. The user interface is suitable for use in any device having a handheld form factor, such as a mobile phone or mobile Internet device. The user interface includes two windows that are displayed on the mobile device's screen. The mobile device may be configured to switch between a single window mode and a dual window mode. The device may also be configured to launch applications in either mode. It may be configured to switch between modes automatically or in response to a user command. The windows may also be re-oriented in response to a change in the device's orientation or to a user's command.

A handheld electronic device includes first, second and third bodies, first and second pivot members pivot to the first body and a gear set. The second body having a pillar is slidably disposed on the first pivot member. The third body having a rack is slidably disposed on the second pivot member, the second body stacked between the first and third bodies. The gear set is disposed on the first body and coupled with the pillar and the rack. When the third body moves relatively to the first body along a first operation direction for driving the second body to move relatively to the first body along a second operation direction opposite to the first operation direction to be exposed by the third body, the first and second pivot members rotate relatively to the first body to drive the second and third bodies to tilt relatively to the first body.

A handheld electronic device includes first, second and third bodies, a rod, and an elevating mechanism disposed on the first body. The rod has a first end, a second end, and a pivot portion pivotably mounted to the first body. The second body is slidably disposed on the first body and coupled to the first end. The second body is stacked between the first body and the third body. The third body is slidably disposed on the elevating mechanism and coupled to the rod. When the third body moves relative to the first body, the second body is driven by the first rod to move relative to the first body in an opposite direction, such that the second body is exposed out of the third body and the third body is descended by the elevating mechanism to move toward the first body.

A holder includes a base, a first carriage, a first elastic module, a second carriage, a second elastic module, and two clamping mechanisms. When a handheld electronic device is installed in the holder, the second carriage is driven towards the first carriage, and the second elastic module between the second carriage and the first carriage and the first elastic module between the first carriage and the base are both compressed. At this time, the first carriage drives the two clamping mechanisms to clamp the handheld electronic device so that the handheld electronic device is reliably fixed onto the second carriage.
