An antenna includes: a grounding element extending along a first plane; a radiating element having a first side and extending along a second plane substantially parallel to the first plane, the radiating element being aligned with the grounding element in a normal direction transverse to the first and second planes; a bridging element interconnecting the grounding and radiating elements; and a feeding element extending and tapered from the first side of the radiating element toward the grounding element.

Broadband antenna

An antenna includes first and second radiating elements and a conductive arm. The second radiating element has opposite feeding and grounding end portions, each of which is coupled to a respective one of feeding and grounding end portions of the first radiating element. The conductive arm is coupled to the feeding end portion of the second radiating element.

Ultra-wideband antenna

An antenna device includes a grounding element, a radiating element, and first and second feeding elements. The radiating element includes a first segment that extends from the grounding element and that has an end distal from the grounding element, and second and third segments that extend from the end of the first segment in opposite directions. Each of the first and second feeding elements includes first and second segments. The first segment of each of the first and second feeding elements is disposed proximate to a respective one of the second and third segments of the radiating element. The second segment of each of the first and second feeding elements is disposed proximate to the grounding element.

Antenna device for wireless wide area network (WWAN) and wireless local area network (WLAN)

An antenna includes a T-shaped radiating element and a coupling element. The radiating element includes opposite first and second radiating portions, and a feeding portion that extends transversely to the first and second radiating portions and that is connected to a junction of the first and second radiating portions. The coupling element is disposed between the second radiating portion and the feeding portion of the radiating element, and is coupled electromagnetically to at least one of the second radiating portion and the feeding portion of the radiating element.

Antenna for a wireless personal area network and a wireless local area network

An antenna includes a dielectric substrate, a grounding plane, first and second grounding elements, and first and second radiating elements. The grounding plane is formed on the dielectric substrate. The first and second grounding elements are formed on the dielectric substrate, have a curved shape and a size that are identical, and are connected to the grounding plane. The first and second radiating elements are formed on the dielectric substrate, have a curved shape and a size that are identical, are operable in the same frequency range, and are connected to the first and second grounding elements, respectively.

Planar antenna

An antenna includes first and second radiating elements. The first radiating element is operable in a first frequency range. The second radiating element cooperates with the first radiating element to define a slot therebetween in such a manner that the second radiating element is coupled electromagnetically to the first radiating element. The construction as such permits operation of the second radiating element in a second frequency range different from the first frequency range, and a third frequency range different from the first and second frequency ranges.

An antenna includes a dielectric substrate, a grounding plane, first and second grounding elements, and first and second radiating elements. The grounding plane is formed on the dielectric substrate and is disposed between the first and second radiating elements. The first and second grounding elements extend from the grounding plane away from each other. The first and second radiating elements are coupled electromagnetically to the first and second grounding elements, respectively.

Antenna having a diversity effect

An antenna includes a base element, grounding and feeding points, and first and second radiating elements. Each of the grounding and feeding points is provided on the base element. The first radiating element is operable in a first frequency band, and extends from the base element. The second radiating element is operable in a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band, extends from the base element, and is formed with a slot.

Antenna having wide impedance bandwidths both at low and high frequencies

An antenna device includes a dielectric substrate, first and second antennas, and a parasitic coupler. The first antenna is formed on the dielectric substrate, and includes first and second radiating elements that extend in opposite directions. The parasitic coupler is formed on the dielectric substrate and is electromagnetically coupled to the first radiating element. The second antenna is formed on the dielectric substrate and is disposed proximate to the second radiating element.

Wide bandwidth antenna device

An antenna unit includes left and right antennas that are spaced apart from each other and that are operable within a first frequency bandwidth, and a parasitic coupler that is spaced apart from and disposed between the left and right antennas, and that is electromagnetically coupled to the left and right antennas so as to be operable within a second frequency bandwidth.

A planar antenna includes a high frequency radiating element, a meandering low frequency radiating element, and an interconnecting element. The low frequency radiating element has an operating bandwidth which is lower than that of the high frequency radiating element. The interconnecting element interconnects the high frequency radiating element and the low frequency radiating element. A feeding point is provided on the high frequency radiating element and is distal from the interconnecting element. A grounding point is provided on either the interconnecting element, or the high frequency radiating element proximate to the interconnecting element.
