This present invention discloses a detachable probe cover for an ear thermometer and a manufacturing method thereof. The detachable probe cover for the ear thermometer is for being mounted onto a measuring probe of the ear thermometer, wherein a combining mechanism is provided at a bottom of the measuring probe and the detachable probe cover comprises a main body of a hollow structure and a base, in which the main body has an open end and a closed end opposite to the open end, and the hollow structure has a diameter gradually reducing from the open end toward the closed end.

Detachable probe cover for ear thermometer and manufacturing method thereof

A disposable thermometer probe sheath includes a bottom piece and a plastic cover film sealed onto the bottom piece. The plastic cover film comprising an upper plastic sheet film and a lower plastic sheet film, each of which has a front edge provided with an opening, a rear edge provided with a tip, and a sealed peripheral edge except for the opening, so as to receive a thermometer probe. The plastic cover film is made of a flexible and deformable material, while the plastic cover film is provided with two notches respectively formed on two side edges adjacent to the tip. The upper plastic sheet film is provided with a first flap attached to the opening thereof, while the lower plastic sheet film is provided with a second flap attached to the opening. When the thermometer probe is inserted into the plastic cover film, the notches are tightly engaged with the thermometer probe. When separating the thermometer probe from the plastic cover film, one of the upper plastic sheet film and the lower plastic sheet film of the plastic cover film is torn from the opening thereof along a longitudinal direction of the plastic cover film under the assistance of the engagement between the two notches and the thermometer probe, and then the one of the upper plastic sheet film and the lower plastic sheet film will be overturned from the opening toward the tip of the plastic cover film, so that the thermometer probe is separated from the plastic cover film.

Disposable thermometer probe sheath and fabrication method thereof

An analytical strip and a detecting method using the analytical strip are provided. The analytical strip includes a substrate having a channel thereon. The channel has a first region, a second region and a third region, which are arranged successively. A first antibody is localized in the first region. A saccharide and a peroxidase are localized in the first or second region. A second antibody for recognizing a different epitope of an identical antigen with the first antibody is immobilized in the second region. A substrate reagent including a saccharide oxidase is localized in the third region.

Analytical strip and detecting method using the same

An electronic pacifier thermometer is provided. The electronic pacifier thermometer is composed of a pacifier device and a measurement device. The pacifier device has a built-in temperature sensing element (e.g., a temperature sensor) and a connector element. The measurement device contains a display, a circuit board mainly which is controlled by an integrated circuit, and a cable element. The circuit board contains an incomplete temperature measurement circuit that would be made complete through connection to the temperature sensing element. The temperature measurement circuit has a reference resistor (could also be installed inside the pacifier device) whose resistance difference is relative to the temperature sensing element in the pacifier device which is linearly corresponds to the temperature difference between the measured temperature and a pre-determined temperature value. When the pacifier device and the measurement device are attached together by joining the connector and the cable elements, a complete and functional pacifier thermometer is formed to take body temperatures.

Detachable electronic pacifier thermometer

An analytical strip and a detecting method using the analytical strip are provided. The analytical strip includes a substrate having a channel thereon. The channel has a first region, a second region and a third region, which are connected sequentially. A first antibody is localized in the first region. A saccharide and a peroxidase are localized in the first or second region. A second antibody for recognizing a different epitope of an identical antigen with the first antibody is immobilized in the second region. An optical substrate and a substrate reagent including a saccharide oxidase are localized in the third region.

This invention discloses an infrared thermometer for ear or skin temperature. The infrared thermometer comprises a body, an infrared sensing element, and a heat dissipating means. The heat dissipation means is provided behind or below the infrared sensing element for urging the air flowing in and out of the body, so as to contribute better heat dissipation and air circulation around the infrared sensing element. Hence the accuracy and stability of the infrared thermometer are improved.

Infrared thermometer

The present invention relates to an electric medical thermometer for measuring temperature of patients in cavity. The electric medical thermometer comprises a temperature detecting set, including a temperature detecting element, for capturing temperature signals and a temperature calculating device for temperature signals processing. By combining a primary sampling frequency with a secondary sampling frequency, where the primary sampling frequency is greater than the secondary sampling frequency, the temperature calculating device translates temperature signals captured from the temperature detecting device into a temperature measurement. The underlining method of the present invention is realized by imitating the physiology of the heart beat pulse, which serves as a resource engine of thermal compensation and as an example for the sampling frequency in order to attain more precise and reliable temperature measurement. Utilizing the primary sampling frequency, the temperature calculating device will recognize the timing of temperature inflection points with temperature values. Continuing, an approximation of heart beat pulse estimated after calculation will be imposed as the secondary sampling frequency, which is then used to obtain a more precise and more reliable temperature measurement in body temperature measuring.

Electric medical thermometer

A structure of an electronic thermometer which mainly includes a body portion, a temperature sensing head and a core. The core includes a temperature display screen, a printed circuit board provided with an electrical contact, and a conductor fixing rod arranged adjacent to the core. The conductor fixing rod is a flexible member on which is mounted a conductor against the electrical contact. The conductor fixing rod has an end fixed mounted on the core and another end of the conductor is free. A pushbutton switch is mounted on a rear end of the body portion. The pushbutton switch is arranged against a longitudinal end of the conductor fixing rod and can get in touch with and can be depressed to exert force on the conductor fixing rod in a direction along a length of the body portion or in an acute angle with respect to the length of the body portion.

Structure of an electronic thermometer

A conducting structure and an electronic clinical thermometer, wherein the conducting structure is provided on the measuring end of the clinical thermometer, and the measuring end has a recess, a temperature sensor and conducting wires fitted in the recess, and a contact member having a curved top and made of metallic conductive material and having a predetermined length embedded in the recess thereby providing the contact member with a large temperature sensing contact area but only with a small portion protruded out of the measuring end, and therefore enabling the thermometer to be fully in contact with a certain portion of the human body such as the armpit, preventing the thermometer from being broken, and achieving heat balance rapidly. The measuring end of the thermometer may be bent at a predetermined angle or the contact member may be arranged at either side of the measuring end as required.

Conducting structure and electronic clinical thermometer embodying the structure

A core stopping structure for an electronic clinical thermometer comprising a stopper protruded out of an inner wall of a thermometer body, a stopping member provided on a core and configured to block relative movement of the stopper, whereby when the core is pulled out of the thermometer for a predetermined length, the stopper will block the stopping member thereby preventing the core from further moving out of the thermometer body and therefore preventing the conductive wire connected with the core from breaking.

Core stopping structure for an electronic clinical thermometer

An electronic thermometer is constructed to include a casing, an electronic thermometer module mounted in the casing, a metal probe electrically connected to the electronic thermometer module for sensing the body temperature, a flexible covering is covered on the casing, the flexible covering having a tapered front portion protruded over the front side of the casing to a distance, and a hard stem connecting the metal probe to the distal end of the tapered front portion of the flexible covering.

Electronic thermometer

An electronic thermometer with a directionally adjustable LCD display is disclosed. The thermometer includes a control circuit and a display wherein the display is provided with identifiable signals capable of identifying characters and/or symbols in multiple directions, characterized in that the thermometer is provided with a direction sensing element such that the thermometer, under normal operating direction, is in an upright position facing the user, and if the thermometer is reversed, the direction sensing element due to the gravity will produce a directional signal and the control circuit of the thermometer receives the signal which immediately outputs to the display device to produce an upright display signal to the user whereby the display shows upright characters and/or symbols in multiple directions. As a consequence, the electronic thermometer can adjust to provide an upright display regardless of whether the user uses the left hand or right hand to hold the thermometer.
