A digital power supply device is provided. The digital power supply device comprises a digital power supply controller, a switch and a control module. The digital power supply controller includes a first digital power supply module configured to generate and provide a first electric energy to a first load via a first path; and a second digital power supply module configured to generate a second electric energy. The switch is electrically connected to the second digital power supply module. The control module is configured to send a control command to the switch to control the switch electrically connected to the first path or a second path. An operation method of a digital power supply device is also provided.

Digital power supply device and operation method thereof

A multi battery power system includes an electronic device and an extension dock. The electronic device includes a first power storage module, a first connector, a second connector and a power conversion module. The first power storage module includes a first power storage unit. The first connector is coupled to the first power storage module. The power conversion module is coupled between the first power storage unit and the second connector, and converts power stored in the first power storage unit into a converted output voltage and transmits the converted output voltage to the second connector. The extension dock includes a third connector and an electrical load. The third connector is paired with and selectively connected to the second connector of the electronic device. The electrical load is coupled to the third connector, and selectively receives the converted output voltage from the electronic device via the third connector.

Multi-battery power supply system

A boost converter circuit includes a first boost module, a first detecting unit, a second boost module and a first detecting unit. The first boost module includes a first comparing control unit. The first detecting unit is coupled to the first boost module, and the first detecting unit adjusts a first input signal of the first comparing control unit according to a first signal of the first boost module. A second boost module is connected in parallel to the first boost module, and the second boost module includes a second comparing control unit. The second detecting unit is coupled to the second boost module, and the first detecting unit adjusts a second input signal of the second comparing control unit according to a second signal of the second boost module.

Boost converter circuit

A power management method and an electronic system using the same are provided. The electronic system includes a display device and an auxiliary device, and has dual batteries and two subsystems. By detection and control mechanisms of the subsystems, the electronic system may allow the display device to maintain in a full power state, in the case where the external power is available or the power of the auxiliary device is sufficient. On the other hand, the auxiliary device may apply to the display device, such as a notebook computer, and the battery time may also be extended since the computer has two batteries.

Power management method and electronic system using the same

An apparatus for auto-regulating the input power source of a driver is provided. The apparatus includes a load detector and a controller. The load detector detects a load current and outputs a detection signal according to the load current. The controller is coupled to the load detector and receives the detection signal. The controller provides an operation voltage between a first voltage and a second voltage, wherein the first voltage is lower than the second voltage. The operation voltage is supplied to the driver and regulated flexibly according to different load demand. In the light loading, the device for auto-regulating the input power source can improve the use efficiency of electric power.

Apparatus for auto-regulating input power source of driver

A multiphase power supply device and a current adjusting method thereof are provided in the application. The multiphase power supply device outputs power sources and currents with different phases to a microprocessor, and a detection module detects present temperature values of each phase power source to adjust currents of each phase power source to achieve thermal balance. The multiphase power supply device further can automatically measure the power efficiency and display results including the detected temperature values of each phase power source and the power efficiency on a screen, and thus the user can know the operation efficiency of the power supply device conveniently.

Multiphase power supply device and current adjusting method thereof

A power supply, an over voltage protection (OVP) apparatus, and an OVP method are provided. The present invention employs the OVP apparatus for monitoring a core power. When a voltage level of the core power is higher than a reference voltage, the OVP apparatus disables a power supply unit. As such, the present invention is adapted for avoiding damage to a capacitor of a conversion unit or load caused by abnormal boost of the voltage level of the core power.

Power supply and over voltage protection apparatus and over voltage protection method

A control method of a variable-frequency and multi-phase voltage regulator module is provided. The variable-frequency and multi-phase voltage regulator module is connected to a central processing unit and embedded on a motherboard for providing a central-processing-unit current. The control method includes steps of: detecting an intensity of a central-processing-unit current of the central processing unit; providing a power to the central processing unit via M number of phases based on a first switching frequency if the intensity of the central-processing-unit current is greater than a reference-current value; and providing a power to the central processing unit via N number of phases based on a second switching frequency if the intensity of the central-processing-unit current is less than the reference-current value.

Variable-frequency and multi-phase voltage regulator module and control method of the same

A current regulator includes a first switch, a second switch, a first current detecting circuit, a second current detecting circuit and a control circuit. Both of the first and second current detecting circuits detect the current of corresponding power route. The control circuit controls the first and the second switches on the route to be turned on or turned off according to detecting signals, and regulates to keep the wiring current in balance.

Current regulator

A power supplying control method of a computer system for use with a first power supply and a second power supply both providing a first specific voltage to a motherboard, including steps of: detecting whether the first power supply and the second power supply, outputting the first specific voltage, are at a stable state; outputting the first specific voltage to a first pin when the first power supply is at the stable state; outputting the first specific voltage to the first pin when the second power supply is at the stable state; and outputting the first specific voltage to the motherboard via the first pin.

Power supply system and power supplying control method

A CPU core voltage supply circuit includes a reference voltage generator, a differential operation amplifier, a power element, a feedback circuit and a first capacitor. The reference voltage generator outputs a first reference voltage. The differential operation amplifier has a positive input end, a negative input end and an output end. The positive input end is connected to the reference voltage generator for receiving the first reference voltage. The power element has a receiving terminal and a current output terminal. The receiving terminal is connected to the output end of the differential operation amplifier. The feedback circuit is connected to the current output terminal and outputs a feedback voltage to the negative input end of the differential operation amplifier. The first capacitor has an end connected to the current output terminal of the power element and the other end receiving a first voltage, thereby providing a CPU core voltage.
