A biosensor device includes a substrate, an oxide layer and a sensing wire. The oxide layer is disposed on the substrate. The sensing wire is disposed on the oxide layer. The sensing wire is provided to receive target biomolecules. The sensing wire includes at least one first section extending along a first direction and at least one second section extending along a second direction. The at least one first section is continuous with the at least one second section. The first direction is different from the second direction. The sensing wire has a width and a total length and a ratio of the total length to the width is larger than 500.

Biosensor device

A biosensor device includes a substrate, a sensing transistor, an isolation layer and a main interface layer. The sensing transistor is formed on the substrate and including a bottom gate structure, a top gate structure and a semiconductor layer disposed between the bottom gate structure and the top gate structure. The bottom gate structure is electrically connected to the top gate structure. The isolation layer is formed on the sensing transistor for covering the sensing transistor, and includes a first opening. The main interface layer is disposed in the first opening for receiving biomolecules to be sensed. The main interface layer is electrically connected to the top gate structure.

An apparatus for detecting conductance parameter of high protein body fluid sample is provided. The apparatus includes at least one liquid collection element, and at least two electrodes horizontally aligned in the liquid collection element. Also provided are methods for detecting dehydration in a subject, comprising the steps of measuring the conductance parameter of the saliva of the subject.

Method and apparatus for detecting dehydration

A system for creating the learning organizational tool known as a concept map to thereby facilitate learning includes a manipulation-sensing device with a wireless data transceiver, an information integration platform, and a data processing device. The wireless manipulating-sensing device allows users to physically manipulate the concept map and then transmit/receive data related to the results of the physical manipulation via a wireless network. The wireless manipulation-sensing device includes a plurality of conceptual modules for recording data in the process of learning a concept map, a plurality of connecting modules for recording data of the connection relations between the conceptual modules, and a plurality of connecting wires connected between the plurality of conceptual modules and the plurality of connecting modules to form connection relations therebetween. The information integration platform receives the results of the physical manipulation transmitted from the conceptual modules to form concept map information by translation. The data processing device receives the concept map information formed by the information integration platform. In addition, a method for learning a concept map using the system described above is further provided.

A light beam polarization converter converts non-polarized light beams of an illumination source having a plurality of polarization states into a single polarization state. The light beams from the bottom converged by the lower surface of the under plate and further parallelized by the upper surface thereof enter the converter. After a series of optical processes of polarization splitting, reflection or total reflection, and phase retardation within the converter, the light beams will pass through the converter as light beams of a single polarization state.

The present invention discloses a vibration measuring device for measuring a vibration of an object. Such device includes a sensing body generating a dynamic information in response to the vibration, and a piezoelectric sensing layer disposed on the sensing body to construct a sensor and formed in a distributed mode to measure the dynamic information in a selected specific bandwidth. The present invention also discloses a vibration measuring method.
