A protection circuit including an auxiliary winding, a rectifier unit, the filter unit, a voltage divider unit and a controller is provided. The auxiliary winding is configured to induce an AC voltage. The rectifier unit is coupled to the auxiliary winding and configured to rectify the AC voltage into a DC voltage. The filter unit is coupled to the rectifier unit and configured to filter the DC voltage into a DC filter voltage. The voltage divider unit is coupled to the rectifier unit and the filter unit to transmit the DC filter voltage. The controller is coupled to the voltage divider unit and configured to detect a partial voltage of the DC filter voltage and detect whether to activate a protection mechanism according to the partial voltage.

Electronic device, protection circuit and protection method using the same

A power transformer including at least one primary side conductive piece, at least one secondary side conductive piece, a first conductive strip pin, a second conductive strip pin and an iron core set is provided. The at least one secondary side conductive piece is stacked to the at least one primary side conductive piece along an axis. The first conductive strip pin and the second conductive strip pin extend from the at least one secondary side conductive piece, and are bent and extend along the axis. The iron core set is coupled to the at least one primary side conductive piece and the at least one secondary side conductive piece. A circuit board module is further provided.

A multi-output DC-to-DC power converter includes: a transformer having a primary winding and a secondary winding unit; a primary side control circuit used to receive a DC input voltage, and configured to control supply of the DC input voltage to said primary winding, said transformer generating an induced voltage when the DC input voltage is supplied to said primary winding; a rectifier and filter circuit used to receive the induced voltage, and configured to rectify and filter the induced voltage so as to output at least a first DC voltage; and a converting unit used to receive the first DC voltage, and configured to generate at least first and second DC output voltages based at least on the first DC voltage.

Multi-output DC-to-DC power converter

A relay driving device includes first and second power supply modules, a switching circuit, and a control module. The first power supply module outputs a first voltage that has a magnitude sufficient to activate the relay. The second power supply module outputs a second voltage that has a magnitude sufficient to maintain an activated state of the relay. The control module is configured to control the switching circuit to connect the relay to the first power supply module so as to provide the first voltage to the relay for activating the relay, and to subsequently connect the relay to the second power supply module so as to provide the second voltage to the relay for maintaining the activated state of the relay.

Relay driving device and method for driving a relay

The instant disclosure provides a Power Factor Correction (PFC) boost converter including a PFC converter unit and a control unit and a frequency switching modulation method thereof. The control unit outputs a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the PFC converter unit for adjusting an electronic power output to a voltage converter. As the output load of the PFC converter unit increases, the control unit increases the frequency of the PWM signal. Conversely, as the output load of the PFC converter unit decreases, the control unit reduces the frequency of the PWM signal. Consequently, the switching loss of the PFC converter unit is reduced.

Power factor correction boost converter and frequency switching modulation method thereof

A resonant power converting circuit is provided, which includes a resonant converting unit, a control unit, a current detecting unit and a frequency modulation unit. The control unit outputs switching signals to the resonant converting unit to adjust an output thereof. The current detecting unit is configured to detect an output current of the resonant converting unit. The frequency modulation unit may adjust a lowest switching frequency of the control unit according to the detected output current so as to increase a gain of the resonant converting unit and an output stability of the resonant converting unit.

Resonant power converting circuit

A resonant power converting circuit is provided, which includes a resonant converting unit, a control unit, a voltage detecting unit and a frequency modulation unit. The control unit outputs switching signals to the resonant converting unit to adjust an output of the resonant converting unit. The voltage detecting unit is configured to detect an output voltage of the resonant converting unit. The frequency modulation unit may adjust a lowest switching frequency of the control unit according to the detected output voltage so as to increase a gain of the resonant converting unit and an output stability of the resonant converting unit.

A power allocating apparatus has a plurality of power supply modules coupled to a plurality of loads via a plurality of power lines, respectively. The power allocating apparatus includes a first switch element and a control device. The first switch element has a first connecting terminal and a second connecting terminal coupled to an output terminal of a power supply module with a relatively high power conversion rate and an output terminal of a power supply module with a second power conversion rate, respectively, and selectively allocates a power generated by the power supply module with the relatively high power conversion rate to a predetermined number of loadings simultaneously according to on or off states of the first switch element. The control device is coupled to the first switch element to control the first switch element to enter an on state or an off state.

Power allocating apparatus

A power converter includes: a transformer controlled by a main switch to receive an input power according to a driving signal; a switching circuit outputting a sync signal; and a driving circuit including a dead time controller that includes first and second switches operating according to the sync signal, and an inverse phase generator that includes third and fourth switches and that generates a switching signal. A circuit switch of the switching circuit operates according to the switching signal. Transition of the driving signal from high to low causes the switching signal to transition from low to high with a dead time between a falling edge of the sync signal and a rising edge of the switching signal. Transition of the driving signal from low to high causes the switching signal to transition from high to low with a dead time between a falling edge of the switching signal and a rising edge of the sync signal.
