A motion control system and a motion control method are provided. The motion control method includes: sending a plurality of machining commands to a second controller by a first controller at a cloud; storing the plurality of machining commands in a buffer by the second controller; and operating the machine tool according to the plurality of machining commands stored in the buffer. As such, when poor communication occurs between the first controller and the second controller, the second controller causes the buffer to send a deceleration command to the machine tool so as to cause the machine tool to operate at a reduced speed, thereby avoiding unexpected motion such as sudden shutdown of the machine tool and damage to machined products.

Motion control system and method

A matching recognition method for an NC program and corresponding cutting tools includes a step of using an imaging device to capture 2-dimensional images from the cutting tools mounted at the corresponding numbered tool holders on a machine tool, a step of based on the 2-dimensional images to extract outline feature points and assembling postures of cutting tools and converting into corresponding tool-assembling strings, a step of obtaining tool demands from each of the sequential machining steps in the NC program and converting into corresponding stepwise tool-demanding strings, and a step of performing matching upon the tool-assembling strings and the stepwise tool-demanding strings to generate and output corresponding step-and-tool matching strings. In addition, an associated matching recognition system is provided to include an imaging device, an image-processing module, a step-decoding module and a matching and comparing module.

Matching recognition method and system for NC program and corresponding cutting tools of machine tools

A tool management system of machine tools includes a reader, a receiver, a storage unit, a processor and a control unit. The reader is configured for reading at least one category parameter of the tool according to a tool index code of the tool. The receiver is configured for receiving real-time process information of the tool with a preset periodicity. The storage unit is configured for storing the tool index code, the category parameter, and the real-time process information. The processor is configured for processing a weighting algorithm to obtain a result according to the category parameter and the real-time process information. The control unit is configured for sending a control instruction according to the result.

Tool management system and method thereof

A sensor interface circuit and sensor output adjusting method are provided. The sensor interface circuit includes a processor and a gain control circuit. The processor obtains information of a linear region of a sensor to set a configuration corresponding to the sensor. The gain control circuit is coupled to the processor, performs a return-to-zero operation for a maximum electronic value and a minimum electronic value corresponding to the linear region and performs a full-scale operation for a slope of the linear region according to the maximum input range of an analog-to-digital converter which is a subsequent-stage circuit of the sensor interface circuit.

A driving power generating circuit configured to generate a driving power to drive a load is provided. The driving power generating circuit includes a signal generating circuit, a power converter circuit, and a sampling control circuit. The signal generating circuit is configured to output a control signal according to a feedback signal and a lock signal. The power converter circuit is electrically connected to the signal generating circuit. The power converter circuit is configured to generate the driving power according to the control signal, so as to drive the load. The sampling control circuit is electrically connected to the signal generating circuit. The sampling control circuit is configured to sample the control signal and output the lock signal according to a sampling result. A method for generating a driving power is also provided.

An apparatus for electrical discharge machining modulation control includes an EDM module, an open-circuit voltage modulation module, a reference-voltage modulation and judgment module, a database, and a control unit. The control unit selects a reference voltage, and an open-circuit voltage corresponding to characteristics of a workpiece from the database, and generates and transmits a second control signal to the open-circuit voltage modulation module for modulating the open-circuit voltage, and a third control signal to the reference-voltage modulation and judgment module for modulating the reference voltage utilized to determine if the ignition happened. The open-circuit voltage modulation module receives a first control signal periodically transmitted from the control unit for providing the open-circuit voltage to the EDM module. The reference-voltage modulation and judgment module performs an arc voltage measurement procedure, then the control unit determines the open-circuit voltage and the reference voltage.

Apparatus and method for electrical discharge machining modulation control

A self-adjusting power device for high efficiency electrical discharge machining and method thereof is disclosed. A high-voltage arc unit and a low-voltage discharge unit provide a high voltage arc pulse and a low voltage discharge pulse to an electrode respectively. The electrode machines a workpiece and feeds back a gap voltage to a discharge pulse generation unit. The discharge pulse generation unit determines whether the gap voltage is lower than a predetermined voltage or not. If yes, a discharge channel between the electrode and the workpiece is conducted, and the discharge pulse generation unit shuts down the high-voltage arc unit and the low-voltage discharge unit is still operating at ON time and shuts down at OFF time. If no, looping the determination of the discharge pulse generation unit. Therefore, discharge machining energy is accurately controlled and high efficient power saving is achieved.

Self-adjusting power device for high efficiency electrical discharge machining and method thereof

A method and a system, for offsetting measurement of machine tool, includes following steps. A tool seat is chosen, a first coordinate is set based on a first datum mark of the tool seat. There is a total tool seat assembling length in between the first datum mark and the tool seat. A tool is chosen, assembled in the tool seat, and includes a total tool length. A second coordinate is set based on a second datum mark of a measuring unit. The tool seat is moved to make a machining end of the tool contact with the second coordinate to obtain a relative total length in between the first and the second coordinate. The total tool length subtracts from the relative total length equals an assembled offset length. The total tool seat assembling length subtracts from the relative total length equals and obtains a tool assembling length.
