The optical device includes a first photodiode, a second photodiode, and a hybrid absorber. The hybrid absorber is disposed above the first photodiode and the second photodiode. The hybrid absorber includes a color filter layer and a plurality of metal-insulator-metal structures. The color filter layer includes a first color filter disposed on the first photodiode and a second color filter disposed on the second photodiode, in which the first color filter is different from the second color filter. The plurality of metal-insulator-metal structures are disposed above the first photodiode and free of disposed above the second photodiode.

The method includes: receiving the image signal; decoding the image signal to obtain a metadata of the image signal; determining whether the image signal is a HLG-HDR signal according to the metadata; converting a color space of the image signal from a wider color gamut to a narrower color gamut in response to the image signal is the HLG-HDR signal so as to generate a converted image signal; performing a gamma correction on the converted image signal according to the metadata to generate a corrected image signal; transferring the corrected image signal into an optical signal; providing a light beam; respectively modulating the light beam and a illumination beam according to the optical signal to form an image light beam; and projecting the image light beam.

A method and a circuit for adaptive loop filtering in a video coding system are described. The method can include receiving a block of samples generated from a previous-stage filter circuit in a filter pipeline, the block of samples being one of multiple blocks included in a current picture, performing, in parallel, adaptive loop filter (ALF) processing for multiple target samples in the block of samples, while the previous-stage filter circuit is simultaneously processing another block in the current picture, storing, in a buffer, first samples each having a filter input area defined by a filter shape that includes at least one sample which has not been received, and storing, in the buffer, second samples included in the filter input areas of the first samples.

High efficiency adaptive loop filter processing for video coding

A projector and a method for projecting an image light beam according to an image signal are provided. The method includes: receiving the image signal; decoding the image signal to obtain a metadata of the image signal; converting a color space of the image signal from a wider color gamut to a narrower color gamut according to the metadata so as to generate a converted image signal; performing a gamma correction on the converted image signal according to the metadata to generate a corrected image signal; transferring the corrected image signal into an optical signal; providing a light beam; respectively modulating the light beam and a illumination beam according to the optical signal to form an image light beam; and projecting the image light beam.

A post processing apparatus includes a super-resolution (SR) filtering circuit and a loop restoration (LR) filtering circuit. The SR filtering circuit applies SR filtering to a processing result of a preceding circuit. The LR filtering circuit applies LR filtering to a processing result of the SR filtering circuit. Before the SR filtering circuit finishes SR filtering of all pixels of a frame that are generated by the preceding circuit, the LR filtering circuit starts LR filtering of pixels that are derived from applying SR filtering to pixels included in the frame.

A light-emitting device includes a semiconductor stack including a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer, and an active layer emitting an UV light, formed between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer; a first transparent conductive layer formed on the second semiconductor layer, the first transparent conductive layer including metal oxide; and a second transparent conductive layer formed on the first transparent conductive layer, the second transparent conductive layer including graphene, wherein the first transparent conductive layer is continuously formed over a top surface of the second semiconductor layer, the first transparent conductive layer comprises a thickness smaller than 10 nm.

Light-emitting device

A method and apparatus for video encoding or decoding used by a video encoder or decoder respectively. In one method, input data associated with a video sequence are received. A current sequence header for a current picture is determined. Whether the current sequence header corresponds to a first sequence header or a second sequence header is determined. If the current sequence header corresponds to the second sequence header, one or more syntax values of a syntax set associated with the first sequence header are assigned to corresponding one or more syntax values of the syntax set associated with the current sequence header. The current picture is then encoded or decoded according to the current sequence header.

The instant disclosure provides an antenna structure including a substrate, a first radiation element, a second radiation element, a coupling element, a grounding element, and a feeding element. Antenna structure

A data processing system includes a buffer, a design under checking (DUC), and a self-checking circuit. The buffer is used to buffer data generated from a source device. The DUC is used to perform a designated function upon data read from the buffer when operating under a normal mode. The self-checking circuit is used to apply logic functional checking to the DUC when the DUC operates under a self-checking mode. When the DUC operates under the self-checking mode, the buffer keeps buffering data generated from the source device.

An optoelectronic element includes an optoelectronic unit, a first metal layer, a second metal layer, a conductive layer and a transparent structure. The optoelectronic unit has a central line in a top view, a top surface, and a bottom surface. The second metal layer is formed on the top surface, and has an extension portion crossing over the central line and extending to the first metal layer. The conductive layer covers the first metal layer and the extension portion. The transparent structure covers the bottom surface without covering the top surface.
