A method to fabricate an image sensor includes providing a semiconductor substrate having a pixel region and a periphery region, forming a light sensing element on the pixel region, and forming at least one transistor in the pixel region and at least one transistor in the periphery region. The step of forming the at least one transistor in the pixel region and periphery region includes forming a gate electrode in the pixel region and periphery region, depositing a dielectric layer over the pixel region and periphery region, partially etching the dielectric layer to form sidewall spacers on the gate electrode and leaving a portion of the dielectric layer overlying the pixel region, and forming source/drain (S/D) regions by ion implantation.

Method and structure to reduce dark current in image sensors

A tray-positioning device comprises a driving unit and a positioning unit, wherein the positioning unit provides a plurality of sidewalls that correspond to a plurality of upper sidewalls of a tray. By allowing the driving unit to move the positioning unit toward the tray or vice versa that said individual upper sidewalls are in close contact with the corresponding sidewalls, the tray-positioning device is capable of providing precise positioning for the tray.

An air-suspended die sorter is disclosed, in particular an air-suspended die sorter capable of performing die sorting, die attaching and die pick-up in the semiconductor industry. The present invention provides an air-suspended die sorter capable of eliminating spring preload, and lowering mechanical friction so as to lift die sorting precision and elevate the success rate, and has a cylinder unit, a piston unit and a pressure unit. The piston type design and a precise control of pressure on top and on bottom of the piston, respectively, enables the present invention to offer an air-suspended state that has done away with stress problems associated with the use of springs. The present invention further provides a novel buffer design for reducing friction and die impact often encountered in prior art applications.

A Tray input-output module, comprising a power unit, a clamp unit and a support unit, is capable of automatically retrieving a tray from a transport device and automatically delivering a tray to a transport device for facilitating automation in chip sorter operation, reducing manual work and raising productivity.

The invention is a device for fast taking out and putting in, especially the device can fast take out a chip from a wafer to put in another chip receptacle, wherein, the invention includes a gear set, which consists of a first big gear, a second big gear and a small gear; at least two driving device, which consists a first driving device and a second driving device; a link mechanism, which cooperates with the gear set to proceed that the link mechanism moves forth toward a non-horizontal direction and back toward the reverse direction, and moves down toward a non-vertical direction and up toward the reverse direction as well; a lift mechanism, which is driven by the first driving device, and a mold plate with gear set and link mechanism is then driven either to complete the actions of moving down toward a non-vertical direction and up toward the reverse direction as mentioned above. The second driving device drives gear set, which utilizes the rotation of gear set to complete the actions of moving forth toward a non-horizontal direction and back toward the reverse direction as mentioned above.

Device for fast taking out and putting in

This invention relates to a C type lamp string improvement, comprising a lamp holder, a first contact piece, a second contact piece and a cord, wherein said lamp holder is such designed as to be integrally molded together. Said first contact piece and second contact piece may contact each pole of the bulb respectively, and one end of each has a sharp point for piercing the covering of the cord while contacting the core of the cord to achieve good conductivity, and said second contact piece has a proper number of projecting points at intervals equivalent to the pitches of the bulb thread to substitute for the conventional lamp holder thread. For manufacture, the first step is to insert the first and second contact pieces into the mold for making said lamp holder, and then place said cord within said injecting mold to enable said first and second contact pieces to pierce the covering of said cord with the sharp point, and wait until the integration of the injecting mold then the lamp holder will be integrally molded while cord and first and second contact pieces are integrated within the lamp holder.

C type lamp string improvement

A valve suitable for lawn and garden irrigation with a fluid inlet and two fluid outlets and a means for switching the flow of water from one outlet to the other based upon a predetermined flow of water. A plurality of valves may connected in series to irrigate several garden areas by connecting the inlet of each valve with the second outlet of the previous valve, except the inlet of the first valve which communicates with a water source.
