An active device substrate includes a substrate, an active device and a barrier layer. The active device is located on the substrate. The barrier layer is located on the active device. The barrier layer includes a first hydrogen atom distribution region and a second hydrogen atom distribution region. The first hydrogen atom distribution region includes silicon nitride and hydrogen atom. The first hydrogen atom distribution region is located between the second hydrogen atom distribution region and the substrate. The second hydrogen atom distribution region includes silicon nitride and hydrogen atom. The concentration of nitrogen atom in the first hydrogen atom distribution region is less than the concentration of nitrogen atom in the second hydrogen atom distribution region. The highest concentration of hydrogen atom in the first hydrogen atom distribution region is greater than the highest concentration of hydrogen atom in the second hydrogen atom distribution region.

Active device substrate and fabrication method of active device substrate

A display apparatus including a circuit substrate, a plurality of light-emitting elements, an optical film, and an adhesive layer is provided. These light-emitting elements are electrically bonded to the circuit substrate. The optical film overlaps the light-emitting elements. The light-emitting elements are disposed between the optical film and the circuit substrate. The adhesive layer is disposed between the optical film and the circuit substrate, and connects the light-emitting elements and the optical film. A cavity is provided between the light-emitting elements, the circuit substrate, and the adhesive layer.

Display apparatus

The disclosure provides a display panel including first pixel structures, second pixel structures, first signal lines, second signal lines, a first driving circuit, and a second driving circuit. The first signal lines and the first pixel structures are disposed in a first display area and electrically connected. The second signal lines and the second pixel structures are disposed in a second display area and electrically connected. The first display area and the second display area are arranged in a first direction. The first signal lines and the second signal lines are arranged in a second direction. The first direction and the second direction are perpendicular. The first signal lines and the second signal lines are structurally separated. The first drive circuit is electrically connected to the first signal lines. The second driving circuit is electrically independent from the first driving circuit and electrically connected to the second signal lines.

Display panel

A display device is provided. The display device includes a first substrate, a first element layer, a first light-emitting element layer, a second substrate, a second element layer, and a second light-emitting element layer. The first element layer is disposed on the first substrate and includes a first active element. The first light-emitting element layer is disposed on the first element layer and includes a first light-emitting element, the first light-emitting element is electrically connected to the first active element and includes a first light-emitting layer. The second substrate is disposed on the first light-emitting element. The second element layer is disposed on the second substrate and includes a second active element. The second light-emitting element layer is disposed on the second element layer and includes a second light-emitting element, the second light-emitting element is electrically connected to the second active element and includes a second light-emitting layer. The first light-emitting layer and the second light-emitting layer do not overlap with each other in the normal direction of the first substrate.

Display device

A display device includes a first substrate, a first polarizer, and a cover. The first polarizer is located on the first substrate, such that light passing through the first substrate irradiates out from the first polarizer. At least a portion of the cover is located on the first substrate, and the cover extends away from the first polarizer and protrudes from the first substrate. A side of the cover and a side of the first polarizer facing away from the first substrate are coplanar or not coplanar.

A backlight module including a light source, a reflector, a chamber, and a block plate is provided. The light source has at least one light unit arranged along a first direction. The reflector extends along the first direction and a curve opposite the light unit is formed on a cross section perpendicular to the first direction. The reflector has a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The first end extends toward the light source while the second end forms a light exit with the light source. The chamber has a light entrance end facing the light exit to receive light reflected by the reflector. The block plate is disposed between the light unit and a light-receiving surface of the chamber to reduce the light directly reflected to the light-receiving surface of the chamber by the reflector.

Backlight module and display device

A light source module including a substrate, a plurality of light source, and a first three-dimensional optical control structure is provided. The substrate includes a periphery region and a middle region. The plurality of light sources is disposed on the substrate. The first three-dimensional optical control structure is located in the periphery region of the substrate and located above the plurality of light sources. The first three-dimensional optical control structure covers one of the plurality of light sources. The light generated by the light sources passes through the first three-dimensional optical control structure and is emitted out. The first three-dimensional optical control structure has an asymmetrical shape.

Light source module

Disclosed herein is a display device switchable between a mirror mode and a display mode. The display device includes a display panel, a polarizing element and a reflective polarizer. The display panel has a light-emitting surface for emitting a polarized light. The polarizing element has an absorption axis, and is disposed on a side adjacent to the light-emitting surface. The polarizing element is switchable between a polarizing mode and a non-polarizing mode. When the polarizing element is operated in the polarizing mode, the polarizing element absorbs a polarized light in the polarization direction parallel with the absorption axis. When the polarizing element is operated in the non-polarizing mode, the polarizing element allows the polarized light emitted from the display panel to pass there through. The reflective polarizer is disposed between the display panel and the polarizing element.
