A wireless communication device includes an aggregation circuit, a processing circuit and a transmitter. The aggregation circuit is arranged to execute an aggregation operation to generate a Physical Layer Convergence Procedure (PLCP) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU). The processing circuit is coupled to the aggregation circuit and arranged to generate a first indicator indicating a length of the PPDU and include the first indicator into a first field in a preamble of the PPDU. The transmitter is coupled to the processing circuit and arranged to transmit the PPDU to an access point.

Device and method for generating a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) using aggregation operation

A method includes determining statics indicators of a first communication device when communicating with a plurality of communication groups comprising the first communication device and at least one second communication device; generating a plurality of multi-user level statics of a plurality of multi-user levels according to the static indicators corresponding to each multi-user level, wherein each multi-user level comprises communication groups with a given number of communication devices; adjusting a plurality of group offsets of the plurality of communication groups according to the plurality of multi-user level statics and current modulation and coding scheme of the first communication device in the plurality of communication groups; and adjusting initial MCSs of the first communication device and the second communication device in each communication group by the group offset of each communication group, to acquire the current MCSs of the first communication device and the second communication device of each communication group.

Method of adjusting modulation and coding scheme

A sounding method utilized for a wireless communication system is disclosed. The sounding method comprises classifying a plurality of stations of the wireless communication system into a plurality of groups, and determining a plurality of initial sounding instants and a plurality of sounding periods corresponding to the plurality of groups; and performing sounding to at least one or all of the plurality of groups in a group by group fashion according to the plurality of initial sounding instants and the plurality of sounding periods.

Sounding method and wireless communication system

A sounding method utilized for a wireless communication system is disclosed. The wireless communication system comprises a base station and a plurality of stations, and the plurality of stations are divided into a plurality of groups. The sounding method comprising receiving a first sounding request from a first group of the plurality of groups; determining whether the first sounding request is granted for performing sounding after receiving the first sounding request; determining an initial sounding instant for the first group when the first sounding request is granted; and performing sounding of the first group starting at the initial sounding instant when the first sounding request is granted.
