A motor drive system includes an electric motor, a drive circuit and a control unit. The drive circuit provides a driving current to the electric motor. A current command generator of the control unit generates a current command according to a torque command and a motor operating information. The driving current is converted into a d-axis current and/or a q-axis current by the control unit. Consequently, the driving current is close to the d-axis current command and/or the q-axis current command corresponding to the current command. If a value of the torque command is positive, the current command generator generates the corresponding current command according to a MTPA lookup table. If the value of the torque command is negative, the current command generator generates the corresponding current command according to a zero recycle lookup table.

Motor drive system and torque distribution method thereof

A motor driving circuit including a first and a second driving signal output circuit is configured to selectively output a six-step square wave driving signal from the first driving signal output circuit, or a space-vector driving signal from the second driving signal output circuit to an inverter to drive a motor according to whether an operating power exceeds a power threshold. The first driving signal output circuit is configured to generate the six-step square wave driving signal. The second driving signal output circuit is configured to generate the space-vector driving signal.

The angle generation module generates an electrical angle. The command conversion module converts the voltage command and the electrical angle into a control signal. Motor system with current sensorless control and method of controlling the same

A wake-up judgment apparatus for a generator includes a current sensing element and an electric charge processing element. A first terminal of the current sensing element is electrically connected to a power conversion circuit, and a second terminal thereof is electrically connected to an auxiliary micro power. The power conversion circuit provides power conversion and power transmission between the generator and a load, and the power conversion circuit is electrically connected to a main supply power. A first terminal of the electric charge processing element is electrically connected to a third terminal of the current sensing element, and a second terminal thereof is electrically connected to the auxiliary micro power, and a third terminal thereof is electrically connected to a microprocessor to output a wake-up signal to the microprocessor.

Wake-up judgment apparatus for generator

A power control system for a generator includes a control unit, an input sensing unit, an output sensing unit, and a power conversion unit. The input sensing unit senses a voltage and a current, generated from the generator. The output sensing unit senses a load voltage and a load current, received by the load. The power conversion unit receives the voltage and the current, and converts the voltage and the current into the load voltage and the load current. The control unit judges and predicts the mechanical behavior of the generator to control the generator according to the received voltage, the current, the load voltage, and the load current.

Power control system and method of controlling the same

A parallel-connected power conversion system of a multi-phase generator configured to provide a power factor correction for a multi-phase generator. The parallel-connected power conversion system includes a parallel-connected power conversion apparatus and a control unit. The parallel-connected power conversion apparatus has a plurality of power conversion units connected in parallel to each other. The parallel-connected power conversion apparatus receives a plurality of generator currents and a plurality of generator voltages generated from the multi-phase generator, and outputs a DC voltage. The control unit generates a plurality of control signals to correspondingly control the power conversion units so that the generator currents linearly follow the generator voltages, therefore the power factor correction of the multi-phase generator is achieved.

Parallel-connected power conversion system of multi-phase generator and method of operating the same

A power control system provides an output power control for a generator. The power control system includes a power conversion unit, a sensing unit, a load-dumping unit, and a control unit. The power conversion unit receives and converts a current and a voltage, generated from the generator, to supply a load. The sensing unit receives the current and the voltage to produce a current signal and a voltage signal. The load-dumping unit is connected to the generator and the power conversion unit. The control units receives the current signal and the voltage signal, produces a current control signal to control the power conversion unit, and generates a voltage control signal to control the load-dumping so as to control the output power of the generator.

A power conversion apparatus and a controlling method thereof are disclosed. The power conversion apparatus is applied with a power generation apparatus, which outputs a first signal. The power conversion apparatus includes a conversion-sensing circuit, a control signal generating circuit and a switching circuit. The conversion-sensing circuit converts the first signal into a second signal, and senses at least a voltage waveform change of the second signal to generate a time interval. The control signal generating circuit is electrically connected with the conversion-sensing circuit and outputs a control signal according to the time interval. The switching circuit is electrically connected with the power generation apparatus and the control signal generating circuit, and has a plurality switching elements. The switching circuit receives the first signal and conducts one of the switching elements according to the control signal so as to convert the first signal and output an output signal.

Power conversion apparatus and controlling method thereof

A power conversion system of a multi-phase generator used to provide a power factor correction for a multi-phase generator. The power conversion system of the multi-phase generator includes a multi-phase power conversion unit and a control unit. The multi-phase power conversion unit receives a plurality of generator voltages and a plurality of generator currents generated from the multi-phase generator, and converts the generator voltages into a DC voltage and a DC current. The control unit controls the generator currents to linearly follow the generator voltages, therefore the power factor correction for the multi-phase generator is achieved.

Power conversion system of multi-phase generator and method of operating the same

A wind-power generator control system is provided. The wind-power generator control system includes a wind turbine, a power generator, a normally closed relay, and a control unit. The wind-power generator has a first output terminal and a second output terminal, and outputs a power output via the first and second output terminal when the wind turbine rotates. The normally closed relay is connected between the first and second output terminals. The control unit transmits a control signal to the normally closed relay by grid power. Also, when the normally closed relay does not receive the control signal, the first output terminal short-circuits the second output terminal by the normally closed relay for protecting the wind-power generator. When the normally closed relay receives the control signal, the first output terminal open-circuits the second output terminal by the normally closed relay for providing the power output.

Wind-power generator control system, and method

The present invention provides a generator brake system for providing a brake control of a generator. The generator brake system includes a power conversion unit, a sensing unit, and a control unit. The power conversion unit receives an output voltage and an output current, generated from the generator, and the power conversion unit has at least one switch unit. The sensing unit receives the output voltage and the output current to generate a voltage signal and a current signal. The control unit receives the voltage signal and the current signal. When receiving a braking signal, the control unit generates at least one control signal for correspondingly turning on the at least one switch unit, thus braking the generator in a short circuit manner.

The battery charging method includes: defining first to third charging regions according to a first predetermined voltage and the charging saturation voltage of a battery; determining a charging region of the battery according to the initial voltage of the battery, and determining a threshold charging current according to the charging regions of the battery; charging the battery according to the threshold charging current; continuously measuring a plurality of voltages in the battery during a predetermined period and determining an average voltage of the battery; determining if the previously determined charging region of the battery has changed according to the average voltage of the battery; and when the charging region of the battery has changed and the average voltage of the battery is lower than the charging saturation voltage, then lowering the threshold charging current and repeating the above steps.

A power transforming apparatus implements a transformation of an energy signal and comprises a control unit, a pulse width modulation (PWM) unit, a transformation unit, and a slope compensation unit. The control unit outputs a target power signal. The PWM unit is coupled with the control unit and generates a switch signal. The transformation unit is coupled with the PWM unit, and implements a power transforming of the energy signal to output an energy transformation signal according to the switch signal. The slope compensation unit is coupled with the control unit and the PWM unit, and implements a slope compensation, according to the target power signal and a feedback signal, to output a compensation signal to the PWM unit. The switch signal is generated according to the target power signal and the compensation signal.

A power controlling method includes the following steps. A first Proportional Integral (PI) computation is performed according to an input current signal and command. Next, whether the input current signal is greater than a maximum rated charging current of a battery unit is determined to generate a switching signal for controlling a brake unit correspondingly. Then, a second PI computation is performed in accordance with the output voltage signal and a predetermined voltage command. Thereafter, the output voltage signal and the voltage command are compared to set an output current command selectively. Next, a third PI computation is performed in accordance with the output current signal and command to adjust a first pair of switching signals and a second pair of switching signals, such that a switching unit performs a corresponding switching action to adjust the output voltage signal. A control method for a wind power generating system includes the following procedures. When a rotational speed control condition is satisfied, a wind turbine is switched to operate under a rotational speed control mode to limit the electricity power by a maximum power point shifting manner. When a speed of an external wind is greater than a predetermined wind speed, the wind turbine is switched to operate under a safety mode to decrease a rotational speed of the wind turbine by a maximum torque extraction manner to protect the wind power generating system.
