A method of identifying a flange specification based on an augmented reality interface includes steps of: providing a first interface, through which an operator picks real-time images of a flange at different viewing angles, and creating a virtual flange surface according to the real-time images; providing a second interface, through which the operator picks three circumferential points corresponding to the flange, and creating a virtual flange model having a virtual outer diameter; providing a third interface, through which the operator adjusts a virtual pitch circle diameter of the virtual flange model; providing a fourth interface, through which the operator adjusts a virtual thickness of the virtual flange model; providing a fifth interface, through which the operator inputs a count of bolts; and searching a database according to the virtual outer diameter, the virtual pitch circle diameter and the virtual thickness of the virtual flange model to obtain searched results.

Method of identifying flange specification based on augmented reality interface

A human negligence warning method based on augmented reality includes steps of: using a smart wearable device to photograph multiple physical operation elements of an electronic apparatus to obtain interface depth data; performing spatial position calculations according to the interface depth data, to set corresponding wrapping geometry elements between the physical operation elements and the smart wearable device to wrap the physical operation elements, respectively; photograph a hand of a wearer wearing the smart wearable device to obtain a gesture and a spatial position of the hand; and judging whether the hand touches one of the wrapping geometry elements according to the gesture and the spatial position, and further judging whether a corresponding procedure to be initiated by the physical operation element is correct if yes, If the corresponding procedure is not correct, then an warning operation is performed to avoid human negligence.

Human negligence warning method based on augmented reality

Various examples and techniques pertaining to audio output monitoring for failure detection of warning sound playback are described. In one aspect, audio data, which includes a plurality of bits of a first sound sample and one or more control bits for integrity check, is retrieved from a data storage. The audio data is processed by: (i) performing an integrity check on the first sound sample based on the one or more control bits, and (ii) playing back a first sound using the first sound sample. The first sound can be a warning sound in automobile applications.

A method and system of virtual footwear try-on with improved occlusion processing are disclosed. The method comprises: capturing a foot image of a user; defining an ankle joint point in the foot image and defining at least one reference point according to the ankle joint point; capturing depth point data within a spatial range around the reference point and constructing an occlusion model according to the depth point data; positioning the occlusion model to a position corresponding to the foot image to obtain an occlusion processed image; positioning the footwear model on the occlusion processed image to produce a matching image of the footwear model and the foot; and hiding the occlusion model.

A process planning apparatus based on augmented reality (AR) includes: a camera set capturing color and depth images of a processing machine and a probe operated by a human user in a real scene; a processor, which is signal-connected to the camera set and the processing machine, creates spatial intelligences for motion planning of the probe operated by the human user in an AR environment that combines a virtual workpiece with the real scene, and generates instructional data from the spatial intelligences to guide the human user to operate the probe to produce machine motion data for a manufacturing task; and an output interface, which is signal-connected to the processor and outputs scene data, the virtual workpiece and the instructional data to the human user.

A method of improving occluded edge quality in an augmented reality system includes a data input step of using a camera set to capture a scene and an object set in the scene to obtain an original image; an occluded region extracting step of obtaining an extracted image by performing a difference operation according to a first image and a second image, which are obtained according to depth buffer calculations according to first and second virtual planes set in the scene; and an occluded image generating step of inserting a virtual object into the original image according to the extracted image, the original image and a third virtual plane, which is set between the first and second virtual planes, to obtain an occluded image with a smoothened occluded edge.

Method for improving occluded edge quality in augmented reality based on depth camera

A method for optimizing occlusion occurring in an augmented reality system comprising a depth camera and a two-dimensional camera comprises the steps of: capturing, by a depth camera, a scene and an object in the scene to obtain initial depth data, and capturing, by the two-dimensional camera, the scene and the object to obtain two-dimensional image data; in-painting the initial depth data to obtain in-painted depth data; performing a depth buffer calculation according to the in-painted depth data and a virtual model to obtain an occlusion relationship between the object and the virtual model, and generating an occluded partial image according to the two-dimensional image data and the virtual model; estimating partially approximated polygon according to the occluded partial image; and generating an occluded result according to the partially approximated polygon, the two-dimensional image data and the virtual model.

Method for optimizing occlusion in augmented reality based on depth camera

This invention provides a novel tool path planning method for five-axis flank milling by imposing the constraints of curve interpolation on the tool path. The tool motion is described in the form of spline curves during its optimization-driven calculation process, instead of discrete cutter locations in CNC linear interpolation. The coefficients of the curve equations are generated by minimizing accumulated geometrical errors on the machined surface using optimization algorithms. The continuity imposed by the spline motion reduces uneven modifications of cutter locations during the optimization process. The resultant tool path yields superior.

The disclosure defined by the invention described a stack caching system with a swapping mechanism for reducing software resource. The stack caching system utilizes a swap memory with higher access speed to increase the performance of the stack caching system. The stack caching system moves at least one first stack block which is the most frequently accessed stack block by the system from a first memory to the swap memory. Then, the stack caching system controls a pointer originally pointing to the first stack block to point to a corresponding address in the second memory. When the stack caching system accesses the first stack block, the stack caching system is directed to the second memory to access the first stack block.
