A display system including a display device and a light combining device is provided. The display device includes a first display region and a second display region. The light combining device has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first surface is capable of reflecting a first light beam from the first display region to an observing region for forming a first virtual image. The second surface is capable of reflecting a second light beam from the second display region to the observing region for forming a second virtual image. A curvature of the first surface is different from a curvature of the second surface, and a position of the first virtual image is different from a position of the second virtual image.

Display system

An illumination system, configured to provide an illumination beam, is provided. The illumination system includes a first excitation light source, a wavelength conversion element, and a controller. The first excitation light source is configured to provide a first excitation beam. The wavelength conversion element is located on a transmission path of the first excitation beam. The wavelength conversion element includes multiple wavelength conversion regions and multiple non-wavelength conversion regions. The controller controls whether the first excitation light source emits light. During a first time interval, the controller turns off the first excitation light source. During a second time interval, the controller controls the first excitation light source to emit light. The first excitation beam is transmitted to one of the wavelength conversion regions to form a converted beam. The illumination beam includes the converted beam. Another illumination system and multiple projection devices are also provided.

Illumination system and projection device

An illumination system includes a light source providing a first light beam, a first light uniformizing element disposed on a transmission path of the first light beam, a wavelength conversion element, and an optical part. The wavelength conversion element is disposed on the same transmission path and converts the first light beam into a second light beam. The optical part is disposed on a transmission path of the second light beam. The wavelength conversion element is disposed between the first light uniformizing element and the optical part. The second light beam includes a first portion, which is transmitted toward the first light uniformizing element, and a second portion, which is transmitted toward the optical part, reflected by the optical part, and further transmitted and passes through the wavelength conversion element for being transmitted toward the first light uniformizing element. A projection device including the illumination system is also provided.

The invention provides a projection method and system. The method includes providing a first sensing group sensing a space and generating a first sensing result to determine whether a user is in an entering or exiting state relative to the space; providing a second sensing group sensing a first or second object in the space according to the first sensing result and generating a second sensing result; and generating a prompt information according to the second sensing result and displaying the prompt information. The system includes a first sensing group, a second sensing group, and a display device. The method and system of the invention sense the space according to the entering and exiting state of the user to effectively reduce the inspection steps of the user for the space, thereby effectively improving the safety of the space, and improving the operating convenience of the user of the space.

Projection system and method for sensing occupancy of a user and objects in a space

A polarizing rotation device including a rotation shaft, a driving element and a polarizing element is provided. The driving element is configured to drive the rotation shaft to rotate. The polarizing element is connected to the rotation shaft and is disposed on a transmission path of at least one beam, where the driving element is configured to drive the polarizing element to rotate sequentially while taking the rotation shaft as a rotation central axis, and when the polarizing element is rotated, the at least one beam penetrates through the polarizing element, and the at least one beam penetrating through the polarizing element has different polarization states at different time. Therefore, when a projection device is in a polarized stereoscopic mode, a color or brightness of a display image is uniform, and a user observes a 3D display image with good uniformity.

Polarizing rotation device and projection device

An illumination system including an exciting light source module, a wavelength conversion device and a light uniforming module is provided. The exciting light source module is configured to emit an exciting beam. The wavelength conversion device is disposed on a transmission path of the exciting beam and is configured to rotate around a central axis. The light uniforming module is disposed on the transmission path of the exciting beam and between the exciting light source module and the wavelength conversion device. After the exciting beam emitted from the exciting light source module passes through the light uniforming module, the exciting beam forms a light spot on the wavelength conversion device. The energy intensity distribution of the light spot along the radial direction about the central axis is that the energy intensity is lower in the center and higher on the two sides. A projection apparatus is also provided.

Illumination system and projection apparatus

A display system including a display device and a light combining device is provided. The display device includes a first display region and a second display region. The light combining device has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. At least one part of a first light beam from the first display region is reflected by the first surface to an observing region so as to form a first virtual image. At least one part of a second light beam from the second display region penetrates through the first surface, is reflected by the second surface, penetrates through the first surface again, and is transmitted to the observing region in sequence, so as to form a second virtual image.

An illumination system comprises a blue light source, an excitation light source, a first dichroic element and a wavelength converting element. The blue light source provides a blue light beam. An excitation light source provides an excitation beam. The first dichroic element is disposed on transmitting paths of the blue light beam and the excitation beam. The wavelength converting element is disposed on a transmitting path of the excitation beam and adapted to convert the excitation beam into an excited beam. The excitation beam passes through the first dichroic element to the wavelength converting element and converted into the excited beam. The excited beam is transmitted to the first dichroic element and reflected. A wavelength of the blue light beam is greater than a wavelength of the excitation beam, and the blue light source and the excitation light source are disposed on the same side of the first dichroic element.

Illumination system, projection device and operating method thereof

A projection device includes an illumination system, a light valve, and a projection lens. The illumination system includes a light source, a lens array, a condenser lens, and a wavelength conversion element. The light source is for providing a light beam. The lens array and the condenser lens are disposed on a transmission path of a light beam. The condenser lens is for receiving the light beam passing through the lens array and converting the light beam into a condenser light beam. The wavelength conversion element is for receiving the condenser light beam and converting at least a portion thereof into a converted light beam. The projection device and the illumination system provided by the invention can effectively improve the conversion efficiency of the wavelength conversion element and prevent the wavelength conversion element from damage, and effectively project the converted light beam generated by the wavelength conversion element.

Projection device and illumination system thereof

A projection device includes: an illumination system providing an illumination beam; a light valve disposed on a transmission path of the illumination beam to modulate the illumination beam into an image beam; and a projection lens disposed on a transmission path of the image beam to project the image beam out of the projection device to form a portrait image. A center of the light valve has a first offset relative to a reference plane in a long side direction of the light valve. The reference plane includes a central axis of the projection lens. The reference plane is perpendicular to the long side direction of the light valve. A center of the portrait image has a second offset relative to the reference plane in a long side direction of the portrait image. The projection device of the invention provides a portrait image with favorable display quality.

Projection device

An illumination system, a projection apparatus, and a projection method of the projection apparatus are provided. The illumination system includes an excitation light source, a light combination element, a reflection element, a light wavelength conversion module, and an actuator. The reflection element is disposed on a transmission path of an excitation beam transmitted from the light combination element. The light wavelength conversion module having at least one reflection area and at least one light conversion area is disposed on a transmission path of an excitation beam transmitted from the reflection element. The actuator is coupled to the light wavelength conversion module to shift the light wavelength conversion module relative to the transmission path of the excitation beam transmitted from the reflection element, such that the at least one reflection area and the at least one light conversion area move to the transmission path of the excitation beam transmitted from the reflection element in turns.

Illumination system, projection apparatus, and projection method of projection apparatus

The disclosure relates to an illumination system, a projection device and an illumination control method. The illumination system includes a first sensor, a second sensor and a control module. The first sensor receives a part of an excitation beam and a part of at least one converted beam scattered by a wavelength conversion module, so as to generate a first photoelectric signal. The second sensor receives a part of a first set of color light and a part of a second set of color light scattered by a filter module, so as to generate a second photoelectric signal. The control module generates a synchronization signal based on relative intensity changes of the first and second photoelectric signals. The synchronization signal is to synchronize the wavelength conversion module with the filter module, and the first set of color light and the second set of color light sequentially form an illumination beam.

The invention discloses a phosphor wheel, and a projector using the phosphor wheel. The projector includes an illumination system, a light valve, and a projection lens. The illumination system is used to provide an illumination beam. The light valve is disposed on a transmission path of the illumination beam and converts the illumination beam into an image beam. The projection lens is disposed on a transmission path of the image beam. The illumination system includes an excitation light source and a phosphor wheel. The excitation light source is used to provide an excitation beam to the phosphor wheel. The phosphor wheel includes a motor, a disk plate, a reflection member, and at least one phosphor layer. The motor has a shaft. The disk plate is connected to the shaft. In the invention, the phosphor wheel has better reliability and rigidity, and has the effect of enhancing heat dissipation.

A projection apparatus and an illumination system thereof are provided. The illumination system includes a light source device, a light homogenization device, an optical transmission module, and an optical wavelength conversion module. The light homogenization device is disposed on a transmission path of a light source beam from the light source device. The optical transmission module is disposed on a transmission path of the light source beam from the light homogenization device. The optical wavelength conversion module is disposed on a transmission path of the light source beam from the optical transmission module and is configured to convert a first portion of the light source beam into a converted light beam. The converted light beam and a second portion of the light source beam form an illumination light beam. The light homogenization device is disposed outside a transmission path of the illumination light beam.

Projection apparatus and illumination system

An illumination system, a projection apparatus, and a projection method of the projection apparatus are provided. The illumination system includes an excitation light source, a light combination element, a light wavelength conversion module, and an actuator. The light combination element is disposed on a transmission path of an excitation beam emitted from the excitation light source. The light wavelength conversion module is disposed on a transmission path of the excitation beam transmitted from the light combination element and has a plurality of optical areas. The actuator is coupled to the light combination element to change a rotation angle of the light combination element, such that the excitation beam transmitted from the light combination element is transmitted to the plurality of optical areas of the light wavelength conversion module via different transmission paths.
